Absolutely not

We didn’t even stay at this property because it was so bad. The house smelled like cigarettes when we walked in, we were told there was a TV in the living room and there was absolutely no TV, there were clothes in the dryer when we got there. The air vent in the bathroom was broken, and the lock on the window was broken I bruised my elbow trying to shut the window.

Has Everything/Nice location

Nice layout of home; carport & covered porch which was helpful since we had rain; throughout many items one would need were thought of though we were gone a lot & did not use most of them; close to anything you would need & in a nice neighborhood-we saw many out walking dogs, etc.; it was quiet at night. Many VRBO's we've stayed in are lacking with large mirrors in rooms-they need to take a lesson from these owners-perfect with full length mirrors! Thank you for the hospitality & quick responses regarding our reservation.

Deceiving listing

Certainly the listing is much nicer than the unit is in person. 3 biggest issues were 1.there were no bed sheets on 3 of the 4 beds, nor were there any in the house. I went to Walmart and bought some so my kids had sheets on the bed. In all fairness, the owner did reimburse me for the sheets.2. THE WASHING MACHINE WAS BROKEN. we were there for 2 weeks and the owner did nothing to try to fix it. 3. The vacuum cleaner cord had major damage done to it that was covered up. So when we went to use it, it caused a spark. Very dangerous. And no replacement was provided. Other things were broken like the toilet, toaster, keurig. There was also a tv missing out of master bedroom. The owner was responsive but not helpful. I made a case with vrbo and they were unable to connect with the owner. And i saw a big cockroach.And to top it off, the neighbor has 3 large dogs, one of which is trapped in a small fenced in cage area. Very sad.

Average VRBO but good location

Had family weekend to visit my son at WF. Couldn’t get a hold of owner to get into unit. Sat in driveway and called VRBO corporate to finally get in. WiFi wasn’t provided in any communication until I reached out to get that information. My wife found mold in the Keurig machine…. Several lights out missing bulbs and trash was overflowing in driveway. To be balanced it was a great location between Wake Forest and the shopping areas. We had family of 4 and there was plenty of room

Soccer weekend

Check in process was easy. We had 3 adults and 2 kids so much nicer than staying in a hotel for 3 nights. Good location with grocery store not far and easy highway access. Quiet neighborhood. House was more dated than expected. There are not many dishes provided so bring paper plates, cups. Had a leaking toilet and emailed owner, never got a response.

The house was very well-used, evidence of previous guests all around. There was a smear/residue on bottom of master bedroom door and we had to just live with it because there were zero cleaning products provided in the unit other than hand soap and dish soap. No bath soap, laundry detergent or shampoo. The entire space (walls, doors, carpets) could use a thorough cleaning. Felt much more comfortable in the hotel where we spent the second half of our trip.

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay here over the weekend! Very spacious for us & our pups. Great location with just a short ride into town. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Host was wonderful! We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Winston-Salem!

Great basketball tourment home

This was a great stay in a great neighborhood, great location to gyms that we had to play at. The host even allowed extra stay time due to my daughter sustaining a minor injury playing basketball. Super host great communication. Will definitely stay again

This house has good space. The neighborhood is OK but the 5 dogs in the next 2 houses barked day and night. The Keurig was a nice addition however no pods were supplied (as most rentals provide) and1-ply cheap toilet paper is provided. The check out instructions asked you to start the linen laundry but did not provide laundry pods. Additionally, the lawn had not been mowed, several newspapers were left in the driveway and the carport was quite dirty. Overall, a little more attention to detail would have helped the warmth of the property.

Pleasant, quiet neighborhood

This property is quite nice. We were very happy there was a walk-in shower for our 82 year old mother. The beds were comfortable. The furniture had a weird oily coating on all of it, which was unpleasant. We liked the outdoor seating area and appreciated having a washer and dryer. The kitchen was nice enough but was sparce on dishware and glasses. The location is pretty centrally located, at least for our activities. My biggest complaint was that we weren't given check in instructions until a few hours before we were to arrive. In the many times I've rented properties before, we get these instructions well in advance and can rest easy that all is in order. It took 3 emails before the door code was sent.

Simple and Clean

The property was just as described. Everything was in working order. It was tucked back into a neighborhood, but not at all difficult to get to. The owners did not communicate a whole lot, but we didn’t have any serious issues to report.

As described and happy we stayed here.

Everything was clean and matched the photos, so our expectations were met over the 4 days & nights we were there. The house itself is buried a little back in a neighborhood, but the surrounding area was fine and it isn't a problem, just worth noting for those that will stay here. Even though we did not bring our 2 dogs, it is nice to see that the rental is pet friendly. We mostly had everything we could think of available to us and we would definitely rent this property again next time we're in the W-S area. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
