Experience a seamless and relaxing stay at La Casita
The rental was very well maintained, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and centrally located to Wake Forest & Reynolda Village. Hope to stay again!!!
La Casita is comfortable, clean and well-appointed. All of the furnishings and finishes seem brand new. Decor is cute. Quality/availability of towels and bed linens was good. Lina was a gracious host who responded very quickly and helpfully to all of our questions. The property is very close to Wake Forest Univ, and we were happy to be close to campus instead of staying in downtown Winston. My main caveat with La Casita is that the surrounding lot is not as manicured/well-cared for as the interior of the rental. Perhaps it is a work in progress, because the outdoor area immediately surrounding the house and La Casita is well-tended, but the driveway/yard/outbuildings are not at the same standard. That said, we would stay here again, as we weren't spending much time outside. Overall, a positive experience.
We were visiting relatives 4 miles away. We only stayed one night. It was clean and nice.
It had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
I was in town looking to purchase a home. So I needed a central location with easy access and convenient parking. This property delivered everything.
And the owners/hosts were so accommodating & friendly.
Overall we had no issues, we didnât realize it was an attached residence but that may be my error. It was a bit hard to find late at night. We also didnât expect there to be as much emergency vehicle/traffic noise. The location is next to a busy road and the fire dept is a short distance away. We would stay again itâs a good location in terms of distance to where we needed to be.
Beautiful unit with a deck and patio table for 6 for outdoor eating (no grill, but we took our own). Washer and dryer are VERY convenient. The street is a little noisy when out front, but you hear nothing when inside or on the deck.
Very convenient location. Check-out "Reynolda Village".
This property is one I will gladly revisit when I return to Winston Salem. It is very cozy, and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. The upgraded shower is quite relaxing with the rain-type shower head. The kitchen has new appliances and countertops that give you plenty of space to conveniently cook a meal. Although located on a main road, it is very quiet and the neighborhood is located minutes from restaurants and shopping. The most impressive thing about this property is that it was extremely clean. The floors were immaculate, the bathrooms sparkling, and the kitchen, including the appliances, were very clean.
Clean small house, perfect for what we needed. Host had everything you would need for your stay. Very cute decor. Nice size TVâs. There are alot of stray cats. But they donât bother you. One was really cute and would sleep in front of the door.
A little noisy street but itâs a Main Street so itâs to be expected. Overall great stay! Host was very nice and responsive.
Nice home. Perfect for a family of four. Great location for those visiting Wake Forest University. Restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are also very close. Very comfortable, clean home. Kitchen is set-up nicely for cooking, but not well equipped to cook a full meal. For example, a set of mixing bowls, baking pans (Pyrex), Pyrex 2-cup liquid measuring cup, and some serving platters/dishes would be very useful. With that said, it was still a very nice home, and would recommend it for anyone visiting the University and surrounding area.
This property has many positives with the biggest being pet friendly. We have to bring our elderly cat with us for her medical needs, but pet friendly doesnât really mean cats. The locations is only a half mile from Wake Forest University and the Reynoldsâs House and Gardens. The inside of this place is filled with country charm. Lina, the hostess, was very responsive to our needs. What prevented my giving this site 5 stars is it is on a very busy road making it hard to access a sidewalk for walking. The cleaning crew left towels in the dryer and coffee grounds in the Kuerig pod. These all are very minor. We were unsure why but everyday at 9:00 a.m. the Wi-Fi became inconsistent and would stay that way until 9:00 p.m. Lina tried to resolve this for us but it did not improve so, it made researching places to see tricky.
It had everything for a short stay, maybe 3 days. For longer it fell short on a few things, no kettle, no pans for baking/cooking in ovens. The house on same property is being renovated, so had noise till 11 pm at night. It is on a busy road, many emergency vehicles going past at all hours. Beds are good. Wasp nests around. Great little restaurants near by, nice walking trails around University.
We came to visit Wake Forest University and look for apartments. This was our first time to use Vrbo and it was wonderful. La Casita was a cute little place and perfect location and easy access to University and everything else. This will definitely be our place to stay when we come visit.
It was such a charming, beautifully updated cottage with all that you need right at your fingertips. There was ease with check-in and out. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Lina was very accommodating and warm. We highly recommend it. My love and one of our sons enjoyed it very much and desire to come back.
I am married and a mother of two! I grew up in Colombia and moved to the United States a few years ago. I love being a Real estate agent and traveling!
My love for traveling is why my family and I decided to purchase La Casita! I want anyone to be able to stay somewhere perfect while discovering new parts of North Carolina.
