We’re very sorry the elevator issues impacted your stay, especially with young children and family members with mobility limitations. The elevators are managed and maintained by the HOA, and regrettably, we did not hear from you about the repeated outages until the day before checkout. Had we known sooner, we would have been glad to help however we could, including communicating with the HOA and exploring any available options to make the situation easier for your family. While the elevator operation itself is outside of our direct control, we certainly understand how disruptive this was on the sixth floor. Thank you for bringing it to our attention, and we’re sorry this became such a difficult part of your stay.

Thank you for your feedback. Compass Point is pet friendly; however, as with many condominium properties, pets must be walked in designated areas to help keep the grounds clean and sanitary for all guests. We’re sorry the HOA’s signage did not feel welcoming to you or your furry family member. We were surprised to hear there was a lack of communication, as our Reservations and Property Care Teams send several messages before, during, and after each stay to provide information, check in, and ensure everything is just right. Regrettably, we did not hear from you regarding the flooring or any other concerns during your stay, so we were not given the opportunity to address them before this review was posted. We’re glad you enjoyed the convenient check-in process, location, and easy access to both the beach and bay. We hope you’ll visit the area again, and perhaps one of our pet-friendly single-family beach homes would be a better fit for your next stay.

Thank you for your feedback—we understand that construction during a getaway isn’t ideal. We did share details of the work at the time of booking so guests could review the information and decide whether to move forward, cancel, or select an alternative property within the free cancellation period. That said, we’re sorry the elevator issues at the end of your stay created an inconvenience, especially being on a higher floor—that’s certainly not the kind of departure experience we want for our guests. We’re happy to report that construction at Compass Point is now complete and all amenities are up and running.
