Fresh and clean, slope-side/slope-view 2BR/2BA in centrally-located Mountain Lodge complex. Steps away from Village and the Ballhooter Lift. Sleeping 8 people comfortably, your vacation rental has spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. Summer A/C (portable unit). Wi-Fi. Easy parking. Boot/Mitten warmer! Bedroom #1 is spacious with a queen-sized bed, 1 set of twin bunks and an ensuite full sized bath. Perfect for a family to stay together! Bedroom #2 also has a queen bed and spacious closet for all of your gear. Flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans in each bedroom. The super efficient kitchen has everything you need to prep your own meals, full size appliances, and seating for 6. This unit is perfect for couples or families!

Great location. Can see the Ballhotter Lift from the porch and about a 200 ft walk to put skis on and hit the slopes.

Great location

This unit was great for the 5 of us. Excellent location in resort in an older building but that is what made this very affordable for us. Great kitchen and appreciated the two bathrooms.

Nice stay for an affordable price!

My family enjoyed our stay here for a quick weekend trip. The remodeled balcony was a nice way to start our morning off overlooking the lifts!

Had everything we needed. Perfect location, we parked the car once, everything was in walking distance! Clean, convenient, very responsive host. Will be coming back next year for sure.

Perfect location for access to ski slopes. Condo was clean and well cared for. Wifi wasn't as strong as other condos, so at times we used those.

Great location for skiing

Clean and well equipped unit with easy access to the slopes, the village, and to the nearby Splitrock pool and hot tub area (admission fee). You just park the car and walk everywhere! Mountain Lodge is an older building but all was great.

We took the family to Snow Shoe for a Christmas ski trip.

The property looked as advertised and has a great view of the ski slope. We had a great time even though the weather was extremely cold due to the recent storm. We would like to explore the area during the summer months to see what it has to offer.

We enjoyed this condo very much! The location is great! Beautiful views of the slopes. The condo was very well furnished and stocked with kitchen supplies. Beds are comfortable. The property managers communicated well with us. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Snowshoe skiing

We love mountain lodge and this place is one of the best for sure. Will definitely stay in the room again if possible. Updated except for some of the furniture such as dressers but had everything we needed!

Excellent Location and As Described!

No complaints of any significant level. Great location close to Ballhooter lift. Great views and comfortable furnishings. Only small items are WiFi is slow but the TV streaming apps worked perfect. Check in and check out was smooth as can be.

The owner of the place we stay was awesome he answered questions very quickly and very nice person to deal with. But the people that works upfront of the resort was very awful they couldn’t answer any questions they act like they didn’t want to be there that what it made it very bad. Then while checking out the girl at the front was into her food with her noises while eating totally annoying me standing there course it’s the employees that what makes people don’t want deal with them. If resort would do something

Nice stay

Nice updated unit. Mountain lodge itself is dated but unit is nicely updated. Internet is not fast and speed is under 1 Mbps when we ran speed test since we were not able to use wifi during busy hours. It did work better when hours were early. This unit also requires waiting in a line for check in.

Fun with family

A few good things to note about the stay. The rooms in this lodge all have windows that face into the hallway. This room specifically is located near a convenient door that exits near a ski lift. This is both super convenient as well as a trafficked area making it noisier than some rooms. The refrigerator and counters were clean as well as the bathrooms. The floor could have used some additional vacuuming. The dishwasher was full of clean dishes, which is better than dirty dishes.. but should have been placed in the cabinet prior to our stay. The beds were comfortable. All in all, my family had a good stay.

Beautiful area but disappointing accommodations

The location was perfect as we could easily walk outside and be near restaurants, shopping, the lift, and beautiful views. The actual condo was very disappointing though. The pictures made it look bigger, and we found a lot of old crumbs/food under the living room furniture. The shower in the larger bedroom drained extremely slow (so we were standing in 2 inches of water), both showers had soap scum/mildew on the shower liners, and there was an undesirable odor that came from the larger bedroom after several showers were taken in the attached bathroom. After our stay, I contacted the owner of the condo who responded very quickly and apologized for the cleanliness. I am hoping that it will be better for the next group.

Good location, bad upkeep

Mountain Lodge is from the 80’s and they haven’t updated the inside lobby area. I have stayed in Mt Lodge before and knew this going in, but was still disappointed in this unit. Each unit has its own interior. This unit was in need of some basic care and maintenance- the fans and vents and baseboards were dirty, lightbulbs are out, electricity and WiFi was not working right, the tub was dirty, parts of the porch were sitting around on the back deck. I had to call maintenance three times to clear a clog in the bathtub that was my fault. A floor lamp fell over and the lampshade broke because one of the legs fell off. So now I have to pay for a new lampshade. I told the owner that the bathtub was dirty and nobody came to clean it and there were no tools for me to clean it with. The beds are cheap and new (but good enough) and the linens are too. The couch and chair in the living room are probably from the 80s. I thought I might break that too. There were only two pots in the kitchen but plenty of silverware and glasses. I would not stay here again. I did enjoy the location and the view of BallHooter and the waffle shack. It is also right next to the exit stairs with access to the lift so the location is really good, especially with ski boots on.
