A brand new beach cottage situated on Little Lagoon that was completed in spring 2020, this vacation rental offers two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It has been professionally decorated in subtle colors that promise to put you in 'vacation mode' so you can enjoy all that Gulf Shores has to offer.

A beautiful and fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a quick snack or a four-course meal and everything in between. The dining table seats six with additional seating at the bar.

There are two bedrooms, both on the second floor and both with private baths.

This amazing neighborhood, sandwiched between Little Lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico across the street offers access to the lagoon, which you will find to be boating- and fishing-friendly. If you choose to bring your boat along, boat slips in this neighborhood are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The neighborhood also comes with deeded access to the beach, which allows you to walk just across the street to the beach for fun in the sun and sand of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family beach vacation

This house was perfect for our needs. We fit 3 adults and 1 child comfortably and had easy access to the beach. The shops and restaurants were also very close. Overall a great place to stay!

The unit itself was fine, but I will NEVER book a Vacasa property again. We arrived at 9pm to find trash in the kitchen, dirty sheets still on beds, dirty towels on the floor, and no toilet paper. We repeatedly contacted Vacasa via messaging, emails, and phone. While apologetic, they just kept telling me they’d notify the local office about the problems. The local office has yet to contact us other than dropping off TP and sheets the following day (after we’d already had to buy our own TP and cleaning products). Considering that we’ve already paid the cleaning fee for a house that was never cleaned and our first night was ruined, we believe we deserve a partial refund. Unfortunately, all Vacasa customer service has done is give us the run around. We travel a lot and I have never been so disappointed in a rental company.

Great cottage

It was super clean, convenient, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked well. The only quirk was there were no hangers.

Convenient beach and pool access

One minute walk to the beach. The beach across the road is less crowded than most areas. Loved the pool and dock. Sit in the swings on the dock each afternoon. So relaxing. Unit did not have a full length mirror. Did buy one and left it for the next guests. Overall, would stay here again!

Perfect for family

We enjoyed the close proximity and private access to the beach. Our boys fished every evening and loved how accessible the private pier was to the condo. The condo was very clean and comfortable staying in. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great experience!

We had a great experience at this location! Vacasa was very detailed and informational regarding our stay and what needed to be done! This wasn't a beachfront location, but the beach access across the street was easily accessible and wasn't crazy packed either. This location even had beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas, etc that we did not expect but it end up being a big help to us with kids! Highly recommend this location!

Great Mother/Daughter Getaway

We came here for a mother/daughter trip. The place was as pictured. There’s beach access right across the street for people staying at The Cottages of Lagoon Pass which was very nice. The pool was small but never crowded. The property is just a 5 minute drive to the downtown area. We would definitely consider staying here again if we visit Gulf Shores in the future.

Great place to stay and close to the beach for walks

This is our forth year to stay in Cool Breeze. We've returned here because we like the cottage's location, which is about a 100 yards from the ocean beach, and we like the cottage's layout with its amenities. The staff of Vacasa is helpful and quick to respond when something needs attention. For example, one of the TVs didn't work and a cable tech would be required to fix the problem, the problem was resolved the next day. We've already made arrangements for our stay for this next year.

Family get away

The vacation home was exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable, beach access was great and having the pool was a plus. We will staying there again. There were only a few things I would suggest. There weren’t any potholders to take things out of the oven. Also we didn’t use the shower in the master because it leaked out the shower door and you can tell there had been water damage from the ceiling downstairs. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay.

Worst rental experience ever - we deserve a refund!

No place to hang clothes in the bedroom, multiple light bulbs out, Master sink loose and clogged, including black mold. Floors so dirty it our bare feet were black. Garbage can drawer broken, 1/2 bath door latch broken, broken bar stool, that was never replaced as promised - so only one stool when there should be 3 or 4. AC return vent not cleaned in forever. Master BR TV doesn't work, WI-FI poor at best. Only 4 bath towels, no bathmats, but we had 40 washcloths. Most poorly stocked kitchen EVER! Garbage disposal clogged multiple times - plunger did the trick! Fridge door bangs into the wall, kitchen knives are dangerously dull, fry pans are warped and non-stick coating is gone, can opener doesn't work, and a few finger cuts from the chips on the clear glass plates. Ceiling light over stove is out. Carport hose had multiple holes so not usable, and how about a few pool umbrellas? Hope this wakes up the owner and saves other guests from vacation aggravation.

Few repairs were needed: Televisions in living room and master bedroom needed to be connected and longer cable of the equip is needed so it doesn't sit on the floor or hang, microwave handle was not attached and shower edges and trims were nasty

Worst rental experience ever

Let's see, where to start is difficult as the problems began immediately.Light at top of stairs and dark entry were not working. Entry light inside the foyer was also out. Property manager came the next day to fix.Master bath sink was clogged and stopper was covered with black mold. It could not have been cleaned earlier in the day, as the sink was still full the next day. We bought some drain cleaner and did it ourselves the next day. And the sink is loose.One bar stool was stuck in the corner, balanced on one broken leg. Maintenance took it and said we would get another one but NO - one bar stool for a week on an island that should have had 3 or 4.The floors were so dirty that our bare feet were dark brown - no way they damp mopped earlier that day. Again, the management company sent someone over the next day to clean it. Air conditioning return vent has not been cleaned in forever. Garbage can drawer is broken. No bathmats provided, but we got 40 washcloths! Inoperable ceiling light over stove. 1/2 bath door latch is missing a screw. Master BR TV doesn't work. Fridge door bangs on the wall. Garbage disposal had to be "plunged" multiple times. We had three finger cuts from your clear glass dinner plates that are chipped.All the knives are dangerously dull, fry pans are warped and old, can opener doesn't work, no dish drying rack. Perfect Location

I don’t even know where to start. This was one of our best vacations. I was seriously looking at Fall dates because we were having to a much fun. Our spot was Unit M. So, you walk out and literally, the lagoon is to the left and the beach is to the right. Steps away. We didn’t have to go far for ANYTHING. No, there were no good fish in the lagoon. But we still had the best time. We even casted crab nets to catch crab! They were big but not really in season. The beach is smaller but it’s still good. Oh, I guess I have to talk about the house. It was spotless. I’m that person that packs my cleaning bag of Clorox and pine sol. I didn’t have to do anything. It was nice and clean and the perfect temperature when we walked in. We did pack our own blankets because the beds don’t have them. We also packed towels and beach towels. What I do miss is the personal messages from an actual homeowner. So, I didn’t know what we really needed to bring, such as beach equipment and gear. There is a little storage there but I’m not sure if that’s for the owners or not. It was locked and there were no directions. But, we were prepared and had everything that we needed. If you plan to cook, take your basic seasonings. There are none. We grocery shopped a little. But, ate at S&S Seafood twice. It was great. Along with Bahama Bob’s. Publix and Target is 17 min away. We absolutely loved this place and will try to get this spot again when we go back in October!

Good location

My family and I have stayed in this area on several occasions. We love the homes at lagoon pass and this was our 4th time staying in one of the houses, although this was our 1st time staying in this particular house. Overall the interior was clean but it definitely needs some work. Furniture was worn out, walls need repainting, nails and screws were sticking out in the living room where pictures had been removed, lack of sheets and bedding and an issue with the electrical outlets. When we first arrived I noticed the steps walls and ceiling leading up to the door was covered in some type of black dust. The furniture inside the house needs to be replaced, especially living room couch and chairs. The master bedroom bed had not been made. Also each bed only had a thin sheet and some type of cover that resembled a comforter but was no more thicker than a sheet. While we were unpacking someone from Vacasa made entry into the home advising us we were missing one of the sheets to the bed. He stated he knocked but we did not hear him. Felt it was very unprofessional. Also we could not get some of the outlets to work as well as the dishwasher. I had to manually go to the electrical box and check the breakers. This kept occurring during our stay. There is also no brooms or mops inside of the unit. On several occasions we needed to sweep up around the kitchen and clean up some spills but we did not have any items to do so. Location is perfect but I will probably go with a different rental company next time.
