Charming Cottage Near El Paseo in Palm Desert With Two Courtyards
Lovely detached one-bed, one-bath casita with kitchenette and washer/dryer. Quiet & Private with private front and back yards. Enter through the gate into the walled front courtyard with colorful flowers and hummingbirds. Cable TV. WiFi. Washer/dryer. 10' ceilings. Pet-friendly (max.1 dog under 20 pounds). Very close to world famous El Paseo shopping district and The Living Desert zoo. Hiking close by as well. Great central location.
This property is ideally located inn a residential neighborhood a few blocks for El Paseo. The location is excellent. The property is clean and ideal for two people but don't plan to cook as there is no oven or cooktop. Just as well since the nearby restaurants are great.
There seemed to be a glitch with the VRBO software, so the host wasnât certain I was going to be there. Once I contacted them, it was rectified almost immediately. The communication with the host was great. The Casita was very clean, tidy, and had all of the things that were listed in the ad. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Terrific location too! Very pleasant stay. Back courtyard is magical with mature landscaping. If you are coming from a cold climate, you will be amazed.
This casita was full of charm and character. It had all the amenities you need. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but was within a short drive to bars, restaurants and shopping.
Place was just right for and close proximaty to my sister, and we could bring our dogs. Really nice little cottage and only issue was unit was not very clean ( towels and some other things were clearly dirty still from prior renter.Owner was great and helpful
We found this to be a perfect solution for the two of us for a very short stay. Clean and centrally located. Everything we needed for small snacks and easy meals.
Nice privacy, intimate setting. Small, but had all the features needed
and with the tall ceilings and outdoor spaces in the front and back, it did not feel undersized.
My wife and I were looking for a modest place to base ourselves during the George Anich Seniors tennis tournament that was easy on our pocket book. And we had a dog. This casita fit the bill. Its small but comfortable. The bed was a little small and my wife ended up sleeping on the sofa. Mostly we were out doing things all day, and the casita gave us a nice place to start the day and end the day. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio and catching up with our reading during one of the few down periods we had. The location is in a nice neighborhood, and it was only a half mile walk to a bunch of great restaurants at El Paseo. The weather in March was perfect.
Everything was just as advertised. Perfectly written instructions for tvâs with remotes. Very organized. We loved our stay and the host was lovely. Due to neighborhood restrictions we were unable to park in front of our rental. No trucks are allowed at all. The car would had been okay but we drove the truck. Still everything was great. Would stay there again.
We stayed just over a week. Everything was as advertised. We particularly enjoyed having two outdoor areas to relax and read books. When traveling together for a long time, itâs nice to be able to be apart now and then. đ
High ceilings made it feel large. Two separate closets in the bedroom plus a dresser gave us plenty of space to unpack. The bed was on the firm side. The couch was comfortable.
The location was nice. It was easy to drive around the area. We even took advantage of the public bus system that runs up and down the main drag which is within walking distance.
Wonderful location central to shopping, food, golf, massage, & just about all u would need or want.Courtyard in front & leading up to front gate should b paved! Hard to roll suitcase over gravel!
Private court yard in front and back. Perfect for a small dog. A defined path/walk way between driveway parking and entrance gate to the bungalo would be the only improvement. The hostess was awesome and the interior was all recently updated.
My Fiance and I loved this placed and enjoyed it. Very clean and you felt so at home and comfortable here. Perfect for relaxing. On one night of our stay the neighbors were having a party with a band. Mark was so worried and contacted us, we laughed and thought to ourselves this is great music and we can sit on the patio and enjoy it. Bed was comfortable, it was the perfect home away from home. Everything is close to you also, The Living Desert Zoo is literally around the corner. We went for the day and enjoyed feeding the Giraffes. Thank you guys . Would highly recommend and stay here again. This is a Casita but you can't tell with your own private entrance and your own front and back patio. One major plus was the sliding glass door in the bedroom, perfect for the morning and laying in bed with it open and getting all the cool morning breeze and listening to the birds đŠ â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Mark and Wendy enjoy desert living and are happy to share their knowledge of the area with others. Mark owns a cocktail lounge in Palm Desert (Desert Fox Bar) and Wendy has been a Realtor in the Coachella Valley since 2006, enjoys the arts and the great outdoors. We love animals, including our two dogs and two cats.
If you are seeking a quiet, private cottage with a back and front yard, and within walking distance to El Paseo and its many fine restaurants and shopping, this is a great choice. Maximum 1 dog (must be under 25 pounds and well-behaved) is allowed.
Great for people who like privacy with two private courtyards and indoor/outdoor living near El Paseo and all the best of Palm Desert, including culture, hiking and more!
