Recently showcased in the Getaway section of the June ‘24 issue of Texas Highways Magazine! Relax with the whole family at the peaceful Heart of Texas house. A renovated home with a patio, a large yard for dogs, and no neighboring lots. A park is located behind the house that offers a track for walking or jogging and a full size basketball court. In addition to the 4 beds there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Silverware, dishes, Kuerig, microwave, toaster, towels, shampoo, body wash, etc. are all available to make your stay as close to home as possible!

Great house

We enjoyed meeting up with our adult children and having plenty of room to relax and hang out. Bedding was so comfortable. Nice backyard as well. If our travels bring us back to Brady we would stay here again!

Hunting trip

Booked this house for a hunting trip, home was clean and beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Would stay here again.

HOT good place to stay

Property was as described. Clean, neat, and easy to find. Not on Main Street and not in noisy neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and host was very easy to work with.

Nice home for the Heart of Texas Music Festival nearby!

The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed out stay there. The beds needs toppers as our hips hurt but otherwise very nice.

Main areas mostly clean and comfortable like beds,furniture, towels, microwave, table, chairs, etc. Seems like a quick cleaning job between guests though. A couple of left behind used items (towel behind door, toy truck under chair) and mud on patio furniture, butter and crumbs in refrigerator). Oven door wouldn't seal closed to keep oven on and working. Overall, it was good enough for us and our pets to visit family for a few days. Plenty of room. Would likely stay again.

Overall, we were pleased with this rental. The interior was very clean and well kept; beds were comfortable. We would rent this property again. The owner was very quick to respond.

Everything needed was there

The place smelled nice very accommodating for pets was needing wash some clothes laundry soap was there very nice gift fruit candy treats for dogs. Was great to stay have lots room to cook for wedding nice kitchen great beds.

Just what we needed

Came into town for a large, multi-day family reunion. Found this home near the venue for my family to stay as all the others were booking up the hotel rooms. It fit our needs and we were happy to be able to bring our small dog along who enjoyed the fenced in yard. Would book again.

Perfect for what we needed.

We were staying in Brady for one night. Quick trip from Houston to see potential deer lease. We had five adults in our part and house worked perfectly. It was clean and met our expectations.

One night stop over

Nice to have 2 half baths with adjoining shower/tub. Very clean and beds very comfortable. Interesting neighborhood. The picture of the home makes it look more separated from other homes but it is actually close to other homes. If we travel that way again we will definitely stay there. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Brady IS the Heart of Texas

Two very comfortable nights at this spacious older home that shows lots of love being put into new things! Comfortable beds and, sheets. Homey feeling and so close to town. We were there to check out the Richland Springs Trade Days and to enjoy San Saba where we traveled to so easily. Joe’s Italian on the square with handmade pastas was excellent! Owned and staffed by a Delightful family, BYOB. We are very happy our hosts were so welcoming!

Very clean. Only issue was the sliding glass door was hard to slide open and close. Track needs to be cleaned.

Born & raised in Texas. We enjoy traveling as a family as much as our schedules allow. We enjoy hosting because Brady is a peaceful and enjoyable little town that we have chosen to raise our family in.

We actually live in the neighborhood, and enjoy the peace and quiet, and overall lack of traffic, while being able to enjoy restaurants and events in the area within a 10 minute drive. We walk and/or jog regularly in the streets and park.
