The Knotty Sparrow is hidden in the very popular East Village of Shaver Lake. A prime location, walking distance to stores, restaurants, and just 1/4 mile to the lake. Shaver Lake is the perfect place to vacation. The climate is ideal with cool summers and mild winters. The list of activities is long and includes, hiking, fishing, skiing, sledding, boating, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and more! When you rent our cabin, you will have the entire cabin during your stay.
You have access to the entire home. I'll send you a personalized key code one week before check-in. Access is that easy :)

The east village is the closest you can get to the lake as for cabin rentals!

The Knotty Sparrow is outfitted to suit the needs of a modern vacationer. Beautiful knotty pine throughout! A fully equipped kitchen provides a user-friendly space to cook a meal. A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes. Entertainment options like flat-screen TVs mean you can cozy up with a good movie next to the fireplace! Large deck with table and chairs in the summertime, with a good cup of joe in hand (complimentary selection of coffee and hot cocoa are offered, of course).

Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine upon your arrival!

Come make some memories with your family. Enjoy the large private deck with propane BBQ, two fire pits, hammock, Smart TV's foosball, and board games.

Linens - We DO provide clean linens

Toiletries - We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

Awesome Rental

The Knotty Sparrow is a wonderful cabin in Shaver. Very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you need to cook your meals on days you don't want to go out. The Cabin Host is very responsive to questions and needs for the cabin. Thank you Jamie!

The location of this property was amazing close proximity to everything you would need the Cabin Host was amazing, and was very easy to communicate with. We left something very valuable behind and she was able to deliver it back to us overall great stay!

Amazing Property!

The Cabin was very nice and super clean. Great location within walking distance of town and very short drive to marina. Host were great and easy to communicate with. Might as well been a 5 star hotel in the forest! Perfect stay will definitely go back and stay here again!

Perfect Cabin for us

Nice cabin, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is close to the road so you do hear cars/trucks, but it was fine if you close your window at night. Nicely furnished and they supplied board games for us to play.

Rented this property for the weekend for my younger son's birthday. He and my daughter in law, granddaughter and my oldest son had an incredible time. Home was very clean and cozy. The only problem we had was lack of communication from homeowner and Expedia on how to enter home. Other than that, all was amazing.

Amazing

I think my title says it all. This place was truly everything you could want in a home away from home. Had everything you needed and more for entertainment very cozy feeling also which was amazing considering the storm that came through. Jamie was incredible and I can't thank her enough and everyone else for the hospitality they showed. I'm definitely planning on coming back and spending more time during the winter year. Highly recommend!

Wonderful time at The Knotty Sparrow

Awesome cabin!!! So warm and cozy!! Very clean comfortable and peaceful too!! Well equipped with everything we needed. Our host was in touch the entire time and made our stay very enjoyable!! She even made a trip to dropped off an extra fan because one day was unusually warm! We really appreciated that!

Experience was awesome especially host!!

Great host, house was awesome, great location first time on east side village, typically stay in west village, walk around neighborhood felt free. House had everything we needed we have alot of cooks. Overall super Blessed our family was able to stay and extend our stay and have great memories.

Amazing stay

I can’t say enough good stuff about our stay at this cabin. It wasn’t far from the lake/snow area and in a quiet area which is nice for a family. Great area to play in the snow in the front. The inside was extremely clean and decorated so nice. Everything you need is there so it makes it easier to cook the food you take. We are already planning our next stay at this location. You definitely won’t regret staying here.
