Kirsten, thank you for staying with us. If you happen to know the location of the missing decor pillow from the couch, please let us konw! We are sorry you felt this was only a 4 of 5, and that you experienced "hot bedrooms". This is a new concern, and you did not share it with us at all. The cabin has a modern ( 1 year old) central heating and cooling system. If you felt the heating distribution unbalanced, it would have been easy to simply adjust the ventilation to be less in the bedrooms and more in the living room. if you had only asked - we would have been happy to help you with this! We are always there for our customers, and much prefer that they enjoy their stay fully - we always want to make any corrections during that time, giving us the change to give you a 5 star experience. Thanks again for staying with us! The living room offers streaming, and all of our TVs had cable service during your visit, there were cable boxes on the bedroom TVs. Our only question is: If the only issue was the door catch had shifted, and, we fixed it right away (which we did when you noted it), we wonder why the stay was only 4 Stars? we hope other guests know that this is an outstanding accommodation, a spacious 3 bedroom home nicely appointed, and a property with all the on site amenities - we offer much more than front door adjustments :). Hi Amy thanks for your feedback. This is the first time in 3 years of renting the Eagles Nest that anyone has told me it was not peaceful because of the road. I'm sorry that you were unhappy. It is not near the road though so this is viewers have a better understanding, but is in sight of the road and within ear shot of loud Vehicles if they come by. This is also the first time I've lost rating because of a neighbor's actions. The side by side to which you refer belongs to a business up the street called country cottages. They also own another property and there's a young kid that rides back and forth sometimes. I was unaware that they were disturbing you, nor did you ask me to speak with those people. I would have been happy to speak with them and will do so now that I'm losing reputation because they're driving up and down the street in a utility vehicle for their business. I will ask them if there's some way that they can be quieter when they do so. They are only there at certain times. But I wanted to clear the air for any future guests that these are not our staff and we do not disturb our guests in any way! This is in fact a peaceful place and a very nice one to enjoy your vacation as hundreds of our guests have found. All the best, Todd

Hello Margaret thanks for staying with us. We're glad that you and your family chose the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge based on your review. Were sorry that we weren't able to provide you a five-star experience this time around based on these small items that you have pointed out that you would have preferred, but it does seem that you really enjoyed everything else! Just a small point of clarification for future customers, there are in fact outlets in the walls in the bedrooms every end table has a lamp and it is plugged into that outlet, but we are happy to purchase more of those charging stations for the future. That suggestion maybe helpful to some guests, and we will buy some. There are two large mirrors though they are not full length you are correct. Our Resort features camping cabins in the Adirondack with the focus on relaxing getaways and enjoying all the amenities that we have to offer here inside and out. previously we haven't gotten a lot of call for full length mirrors but we think that is also a helpful suggestion and we will see if we can get some door mounted units. We always want to get to the next level to serve the broadest range of our customers and we appreciate it. Thanks for pointing out that the door was swelling in the humidity and not fully latching.
