Fantastic cabin! Great location in Wintergreen on quiet street. Minutes from the resort and restaurants. The cabin is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable weekend away. Owners created an amazing ambience in every room. One of the best vacation rentals we have seen in more than 20 years of travel.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved everything about this charming cabin! We were looking for a place to relax and spend time as a family and this was the perfect place to be. The cabin could not be more charming, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time. We can't wait to come back!

Our family really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The kitchen is well equipped and the themed decor adds to the cozy charm of the cabin. We enjoyed making a fire both evenings. We’d definitely stay here again.

We have rented a lot of places over the years, and this log cabin is probably my favorite. The place looks even better than the pics. Beyond being comfortable, there were a handful of small things that are easy to overlook but really made the weekend special, including having plenty of firewood, tons of hooks to hang up clothes after skiing (including a glove warmer and a wholly separate mud room to store equipment), and a record player with a good selection of albums. If you are skiing, it is a short three minute drive to the parking lots at Wintergreen (due to the steepness of the road and a ton of snow and ice plowed on the side of the road, it isn’t really within walking distance, but it is a super short car ride). Despite the fact that we were there during a freakishly cold spell with a lot of snow and ice, the driveway was plowed and it was easy to get in and out.I have stayed in 20 weekend rentals over the last 5-10 years, and this is the one I am most interested in returning to.

Lovely Cabin in Wintergreen

Cabin was absolutely charming! Comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and a great location. The cabin was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely surprise and added an extra special touch to our stay. Communication with owner was excellent, rental was as advertised. Will visit again!

Perfect cozy cabin for a family getaway

Spring Cabin Stay

We loved this property! It was so cozy and welcoming and had so many amenities. Everything was well thought through and wonderful. We had two families - 4 adults and 5 boys under the age of 12. Wandering the woods in the back was their favorite. That and s'mores.

July 4th Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Joy Cabin. Everything was exactly as advertised and the host was very attentive. The cabin has everything you need and was in a great location with plenty of hikes just off the property and in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend this rental!

Much needed escape

Can’t say enough about this fantastic cabin! I’ve never stayed at a home w such a well appointed kitchen! The house was decorated beautifully and was delightfully cozy. And our best hikes were right outside our back door! Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect mountain getaway

Loved every aspect of this quaint cabin in the mountains. Easy access with circular drive. Front porch and rockers were a hit even though cold for morning coffee. Living room fireplace was cozy and warm. Beds were comfy and kitchen is well equipped. Easy to hit the trails and quick access to several local breweries. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommend Joy Cabin!

Cabin Stay With Friends

Our group of 8, long-time friends shared a wonderful get-away weekend at Joy Cabin. The weather outside was less than ideal, but that didn't matter, because we made good use of the well-appointed kitchen, the terrific fireplace, and all the charm the cabin has to offer. We'll be back!
