Looking for a place for a solo getaway or the ideal spot for a couple’s trip at the beach? Look no further than Destin West Villa 401. Located at the sought-after Destin West resort on Okaloosa Island, our Fort Walton Beach, Florida condo rental is exactly what you’re looking for.

Cozy enough for four guests, our studio space at Destin West Villa 401 is equipped with plenty of at-home comforts to ensure your vacation is as relaxing as can be. It has been nicely updated to include a marble countertop in the kitchen and breakfast bar and garden tub in the bathroom, a Smart TV, and a front-loading washer and dryer. There is also a kitchenette complete with a smooth top range with two burners so that you can enjoy home-cooked meals in an instant. For dinner with a view, simply take your meals out to the covered, wrap-around balcony for the separate dining area and enjoy a partial view of the Gulf morning, noon, and night. A comfortable queen bed is located off of the living room to ensure you will get a good night’s rest on vacation.

This Gulfside unit is a short walk from the beach where sun, sand, and sea await! Soak up countless hours of fun in the sun in the two Gulfside pools and hot tub, or take the covered walkway connecting the Bay and Gulf sides of the resort to Destin West's lazy river and additional pools and hot tub options on the bayside.

Meanwhile, Okaloosa Island is known for its family-friendly location on the beach – with so much to see and do, you will be wanting to extend your trip soon after you get here! Wonder villa with walking distance to the pool, Beach, Pier & Beach Bar Beautiful beach with active dolphins 🐬 playing. Wonderful drive to crab island 🏝 and Navarre Beach. AAA rated

A spring getaway

This condo shines like the Florida sun. Fresh and bright with wonderful amenities, beautifully decorated and a great location. The balcony is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner with a gorgeous view of the gulf. A very short walk to the beach with all the attractions there. We can’t wait to return next year!

great place

This studio was the perfect size for my family of 3, son is 11. It was in a great location, and it had good views of the gulf/beach. Not a long walk to the beach or the lazy river located across the road! The property was clean when we arrived, and we had everything we needed. Arriving at 0400, this was a huge plus! We really enjoyed our stay!

Family girls trip

Check in was an easy process, the carts on site were helpful to unload, the condo was clean with fresh towels on the bed when we arrived. In the balcony we found a storage box with sand toys & extra beach chairs. We enjoyed breakfasts on the patio watching the storms coming in & you could see the beach just a little bit. We would definitely recommend & come back

Great Location!

We loved our stay at Destin West Villas. The location was ideal for our weekend stay as we could easily walk to many locations. The room was exactly as described and completely met our needs. Our only issue was with the sliding door for the balcony. It is not the easiest to open from the outside, we thought we had locked ourselves out. All in all, we would highly recommend this location!

Our favorite place to stay

We love staying here! We had a different room last year but it’s always in the same building. The room we stayed in this time was great and just as it was described. The only problem we had was the air-conditioning wasn’t working when we got there and it took a couple of days to get it fixed. But thankfully, the weather wasn’t too hot. Overall, it was great!

Great location

We needed this area last minute to meet with other family for spring break. The location was perfect with views of the ocean and the bay. I personally felt the balcony was perfect! We had our 9yr old daughter that slept in the sofa bed. Personally, the glass coffee table was too big for the small space and you could not move around when the bed was open but it served a purpose. This is ideal for a couple on a very short term stay.

Destin West Gulf Resort

Room was nice. Balcony was very roomy. The walk to the beach was alittle longer to get to than we like. The pool was very nice, it was a long walk over to the lazy river especially on Hot humid days. They had fire alarm issues that woke up guess at wee early in the mornings and fire trucks came each time.total of 3 times. They obviously need to keep up on maintaining their issues. Other than this, it was a good stay.

Needs Improvement

This property was a disappointment. First, it definitely shows its age and needs some work done on it. Examples are a very dingy/dirty couch, rusted curtain rod, and old/dingy drapes. The design layout is also horrible. A block window exists between the bathroom and bedroom. Therefore, anyone using the bathroom early or late shines light into anyone sleeping. This is also true of the balcony curtains. They have a V design and not only don't blackout the sun, actually allow a great deal to enter. Every morning at 6 AM is like a light switch into the entire Condo. The overall property is well situated and has pretty nice amenities including pools and beach access. However, overall, it's pretty run down and shows age. A thorough cleaning and some touch ups would go a long way.
