Andrea Abode is a home away from home on a quiet street in an extremely nice neighborhood in Lexington, KY. With over 2,500 SQ ft of house on a half acre, this house is a spacious, quiet home. The Andrea Abode features a large living room; fully stocked eat-in kitchen with premium cooking utensils; comfy dining room; large game room with pool table, games, and large TV; 5 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping a total of 12, and each containing their own tv; 2 full bathrooms; and a washer/dryer. If that isn't enough, the large backyard features a private yard with a grill, spacious covered patio, and a large fire pit.

Great Property! Great Experience!

A group of 5 friends stayed at Andrea's Abode for the Kentucky Three Day Event. Checking in was super easy with the directions provided and the digital lock! The property was as promised - 5 big bedrooms, nice kitchen and living room - more than enough space for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet and very accessible. While we did not have internet due to a tree trimming issue, the owner and property manager worked out a fair refund which was very appreciated. Hope to stay at this property again if we return to the horse show.

Family Christmas get together

Cute and quaint with a wonderful Christmas tree!Our family met in Lexington with our grown kids and grandkids. This home fit everyone of our needs! Thank you for an amazing home! The only thing I would add is more lighting in the game room with extra seating!

Disappointing this year

We have stayed here in the past and been very pleased. Unfortunately, this year the property was rundown. The water heater was malfunctioning. We tried the auto start, then attempted to contact our maintenance point of contact (Multiple texts and voicemail) then voicemail to Bear Tootin rustic vacations. We never received an acknowledgment of the water heater issues during the entire weekend, cold showers for all!

Sisters 60th Anniversary Party

Roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable and nice. They have tried to make the house and efficient and as usable as possible. There were a few this that I feel need attention. The coffee carafe was missing. The ice maker wasn’t working. The woven chairs on back porch need replacing-one was broken and others are close to breaking. The plastic chairs are in good shape, though!! Outside could use some sprucing up.

My overall impression of Bear Tootin is 100% negative. They sent TWO emails with Turn by Turn directions. Trouble was: there were no Turn by Turn directions in either email. I emailed back stating that fact and their response was: "It's easy to get to. Use your GPS" I also asked via email if there was any way I could check in early. Their response was " No, we have to keep on schedule". I know the house was not rented the day before our stay. No other reason was given. I will do whatever I can to persuade people not to use Bear Tootin. Plus, Bear Tootin and the owner do not coordinate with each other. Bear Tootin had their instructions on exiting the house. And the owner had theirs. The two did not match.

Clean, comfortable, perfect for extended family

We had two couples and three single adult nephews and nieces in town for a family funeral and everyone was quite comfortable. The younger set enjoyed the game room in the garage — older adults would have appreciated some sound dampening. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood close to a shopping center with a fabulous ice cream shop, donut shop, German bread and pastry shop, and liquor store. Other services nearby and an easy drive into town & university.

Low Key Bachelor Party

Had a great time at andrea abode. Comfy beds, lots of space, kitchen worked great, lots of TVs, and lots of game space. For a bunch of guys there for a bachelor party, it was the perfect jumping off point to the bourbon trail. Make sure you try crank and boom, the ice cream down the street!

Nice home away

Nice home in a nice area. Easy to communicate with owner via text, dealt with issues promptly. Check in was seamless, which was awesome considering we had a 8+ hour drive in from the Midwest and didn't get in until 10pm local time. Home is bigger than it appears from street, we had 12 in our party, including 7 kids so that was a plus. Only negative was that we couldn't extend to enjoy the property one more day, it was already booked! Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks again Joel! Proverbs 3:5,6

Creation and Ark trip

Property as advertised. Plenty of room for 9 people. Four adults and 5 kids (5 to 12). Easy to get around town, and close to shopping to get the stuff you forgot! Had a small problem with the heater in the garage, but the owner responded promptly! To be fair our “Spring Break” was more of a winter break with snow flurries and temps in the upper 20’s tp low 40’s. Thanks for letting us share your home!
