Enjoy this family friendly home, that’s tucked into the trees creating a peaceful, and private stay. This property is located 15 miles from Acadia National Park with the fabled trails including Beehive, Precipice, Cadillac Mtn, Beech Mtn, Little Long Pond and all the popular tours like boating, puffins, lobstering, and lighthouses! We’re 17 miles from downtown Bar Harbor which has whale watching and other popular tours, along with restaurants with Maines most fresh seafood.

Quiet and clean place

The house was very clean with all the amenities needed for our stay. Great outdoor porch with fire pit in the back. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location

Secluded and Convenient

First time visiting Maine, we felt this home was a perfect family location. Secluded yet close to everything. It was so great coming home after a tiring day of hiking, to a super comfortable retreat. We will be back for sure!

Perfect in Every Way

We so enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable house. The house is beautifully appointed and landscaped and very private. The yard is lovely and well - lit and the outdoor fire-pit surrounded by comfortable chairs is a particularly nice touch. We would definitely book this place again!

Enjoyed our stay in Maine

This was our first trip to Maine and this location was perfect for our stay. It’s about a half hour drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. After being out and about all day long, it was nice to come back to a home that had enough room for some downtime as needed. Highly recommend this home.

While this was our first visit to Maine, we felt at home in this great house in Lamoine. The host thought of everything we could possibly need. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We would love to come back and stay again.

I can’t say enough about this property or the hosts. The house and property is not only beautiful but the hosts are so welcoming and responsive to any questions or concerns. These hosts go the extra mile to make sure your vacation experience is comfortable in the amenities and supplies they provide. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Perfect house for hiking Acadia and having a perfect spot to hang later in the day. The guest home had all of the amenities and even had fire wood. Perfect.

Perfect for us

Our stay in this house was nice and relaxing. The setup was perfect for four adults. The house was very clean and well stocked, we didn't need a thing. We all felt comfortable like we were home. The location is very private and very convenient to many attractions. We enjoyed our days exploring the area and looked forward to relaxing by the fire pit when we returned to the house.

Fun in Maine

This house was awesome. My husband and I and another couple stayed here for the week. It it close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was well equipped for us and very clean. We loved it. Can not think of anything less than all positives. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful repeat experience

I had stayed at this property last summer for a girls trip. I liked it so much that I brought my family this summer. They liked it as soon as they stepped inside the house and were all smiles (which is unusual for teenage boys!). As we drove away our last day, my husband said, “Those property owners do it right. If we had a rental property, that’s how I would want to mange it-clean, well stocked, well maintained, and nice amenities.” This house is a keeper!

Unforgettable

Hands down the best rental property we have ever had the pleasure of staying. The pictures, although nice, don't nearly capture the beauty of this home. We had everything we could possibly need plus a thousand extras! The owner was thoughtful and communicated with us quick and professionally. A great home for families hiking acadia or just spending time in bar harbour. Very close to both locations..just a quick 15min drive. Do not hesitate to rent this home.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful time! It was perfect for us, our two adult children and two granddaughters (2&7). The house is beautiful, comfortable and has very nice furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. It has the biggest and nicest tv we have ever seen in a vrbo! The house is tucked away off the road on a beautiful private piece of property. It was convenient to the Bangor Airport, Bar Harbor and surrounding areas. We spent a lot of time hiking in Acadia National Park. I’ve stayed in many vrbo’s and this is a top 3 favorite! Alison was very responsive and made things so easy. We appreciate everything!

Family Vacay

We were very happy with our stay in this home for 3 nights with our 3 grown kids! It was very clean and contemporary. We wish the weather had been more cooperative so we would have been able to enjoy the deck and/or back yard area. We did love watching the birds from the kitchen each morning! The upstairs bathroom was good, but we all had to use that one for showering as the downstairs bathroom shower was very small and designed those requiring handicap accessibility. Alison was extremely helpful and responsive. The champagne was a nice touch and we enjoyed a toast to our vacation with it. The drives to and from Bar Harbor and Acadia weren't too bad. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to this area!

Amazing Location

Wonderful stay

This home was in a nice location, close to Bar Harbor/Acadia without the higher costs. Kitchen was nicely stocked and home was very clean. Easy communication with owner. Just a slight note, the one bath is a handicap tub/shower so we all used the upstairs shower but no complaints. It was a great stay.

Beautiful home near Acadia

This home is in a beautiful wooded location just outside Acadia. It was well-equipped and centrally located for our vacation in Maine. Owner had great communication and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely house in the woods

Casa Gris is a delightful property surrounded by trees. The house was a good fit for the 3 of us, and quite comfortable. We were delighted by the bird feeders around the property, and the varieties of birds that visited. There's plenty of parking, and it's only about a mile or so from restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay very much.
