This lovely property provided us a quiet and peaceful escape from the city. The historic feel of the property adds to its overwhelming charm. The location is perfect as it's tucked back in the bay but still offers amazingly beautiful views. There are plenty of stairs so if mobility is an issue this might not be the place for you. We loved that there are bedrooms on every floor so we could spread out for some privacy. The beds were comfy and the solitude of the outdoors made sleeping comfortably easy. Big Bear has so many activities available and this cabin was close to it all. I would love to visit again on a future trip and spend my time on the patio gazing at the lake and its surrounding wildlife. (We spent quite a while photographing a heron nesting in a nearby tree. Spectacular!) This cabin feels like home and I'm grateful we got to spend time there making memories with our family.

55th Anniversary Celebration

We had a wonderful experience. Plenty of room for everyone withe room for individuals to have alone time when desired. The hot tub was a special feature enjoyed by all. Kitchen was well equipped. The views were awesome.

Little peace of Heaven!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here. The view is breathtaking. We had game nights next to the big fireplace. The jacuzzi tub worked..I’ve had bad experience s in the past. And the location is perfect. We can walk to hiking trails that people have to try to find parking to and it’s just 5-10 to town. I would definitely stay here again!

The property was peaceful and had great bedroom/bathroom accommodations. Can’t beat the views and location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Cleanliness could have been better, unfortunately there was a horrid smell coming from one of the bedrooms. We later discovered a decomposing mouse under the bed. Through our trip we found two more dead mice that were obviously there for a while. Some simple maintenance needed around the place, hot tub attention, and even just cleaning of deck before arrivals would be beneficial.

The hot tub was disgusting: water was all merky,an it was leaking on patio.non of the sockets for electricity will hold a phone charger: there all so old: anything u plug in falls out.the dock listed: as available, I was told by the neighbors I can not park my boat there.an the tiny dock that was available was so : un maintenanced: every time I started my boat; it was sucking stuff up in my prop.the toilets and sinks clogged up.over all I was embarrassed to have taken my family there.as well as empty tequila bottles on the back porch.bad experience.

Great cabin- motel management

Management company is horrible. Had to drive far out of the way to check in. Staff was unfriendly and systems were slow. Jacuzzi was green and smelled terrible. We I brought this to Management's attention I was brushed off.
