Welcome to our Comfortable Historic District home, just 3 short blocks to all the best that Wilmington has to offer. You get the best of both worlds - a short walk to the riverwalk, great restaurants, bars, and wedding venues - but with a comfortable quiet neighborhood vibe.

Fully equipped to accommodate your perfect visit to downtown Wilmington, NC. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of downtown. Short 15-25 minute drives to the best beaches NC has to offer.

This property is a private full home as one side of a side-by-side duplex, offering rare amenities for Downtown Wilmington including great parking and driveway, private fenced-in backyard area with adirondack chairs, wraparound front porch with rockers. You will not find many properties or rentals downtown with amenities like this.

On the main floor, walk in to a refurbished, fresh, and clean space designed for comfort and relaxation. Brand new kitchen remodel with coffee bar, cooking necessities, door to access the back yard and more. Comfortable living room with new smart TV offering the most popular streaming services and select cable channels. Fast >200mbps WiFi. Clean and fresh powder room.

Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, one featuring a large comfortable king bed, and the second with a queen and double bed. Perfect fit for a family, group of couples or group of friends. Full bathroom/shower upstairs. Impressive new shower renovation.

The biggest attraction to this home is the level of comfort/amenities offered in a full home close to downtown. Located on Dock St, this is as central as it gets. Walk 3-4 blocks to downtown, and one more to the Riverwalk. Incredible location for a Downtown Wilmington visit. You will struggle to find a reason to drive or Uber anywhere during a stay here.

Downtown Wilmington is special in that it offers a rich history, fun vibe and culture - but is also a coastal town. A 15-20 minute drive gets you to the best beaches NC has to offer, including Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. There is no shortage of fun activities!

The house has very comfortable furniturre. The kitchen is well appointed. Wonderful location for downtown. I cannot imagine that anybody could complain about their stay in the house, as it has everything you could ever need.

Loved it!

We loved it! We walked everywhere downtown near the river. There are tons of museums, restaurants, breweries, bars and shops within walking distance. The neighborhood is so cute and historic. If you're good with a few stairs and walkability, this is the spot to stay! The rocking chairs on the porch were so relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great stay

We had a great stay for a long weekend in Wilmington. The property was clean, check in and out were easy, and the location was great. The house wasn’t pristine which I actually prefer, as you don’t feel like you’re walking on eggshells all the time. It felt like a family vacation house, which is exactly what we wanted! A neighbor helped us out with garbage rules (there’s a small typo in the binder that confused us). Only downside was that the host didn’t respond to some messages on the app.

Great property ! Well appointed home located in historic district . Four blocks from riverfront with many activities, restaurants & bars. We had everything needed 
very comfortable bed and linens , nice bathrooms and spacious kitchen with convenient parking in driveway . Would recommend this property when visiting the area

Good place to stay

The location was great if DT Wilmington an evening destination. Walking distance to DT. The AC unit was struggling a little to get the house comfortabley cool for us but we like it around 71 degrees. The parking spot was very tight and difficult to get too and from the house without having to walk through busches when a vehicle is parked in the driveway. Driveway the biggest hassle but overall a nice place to stay.

Weekend Getaway

Had a great time while in town for a UNCW graduation. The location is perfect and a visit to the Saturday farmer’s market is a must do. The house has everything you need and the area is quiet and relaxing with close proximity to the riverfront. Great communication with the host. Will definitely return.

Wonderful home near Historical district

I loved this home. Very clean and well organized. It is walking distance to the Historical district and river walk. The kitchen is well stocked and has most of what you will need to cook if you so choose to eat in. The front porch is nice to relax in the evening. Will stay here again if we are in the area!

Walk to the river

This was a nice stay in Downtown Wilmington. The house was clean and stocked with everything that you could need really. It's an easy 4-5 blocks to the restaurants, shops and riverwalk. Easy walk to some of the city's museums and a short drive to the beaches. We enjoyed sitting out on the rocking chair porch watching the neighborhood.

Delightful

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I was there for a family funeral, and was able to find the perfect place for at short time. The place was extremely clean and the owner was extremely responsive. I just wish that the weather was warmer in order to enjoy the front porch. I would definitely recommend this place and will reserve again for a future stay.

No need to look any further!

Beautiful property close to literally everything. Four blocks from the river front. Quite historical neighborhood and this house has everything you need! The owner was very easy to communicate with and prompt with his responses. We stayed here while looking for an apartment for my new Coastie and it honestly could not have been a better experience!

A great place to stay

My husband and I took our two grandkids to visit the beach and while we were there, I got to see my sister and brother in law. The property was great! We were in walking distance to the Riverwalk and 15 minutes from the beach. We had a ball. The little extras that we borrowed was so convenient (tanning spray, cooler tote for the beach, etc) I will definitely book again and again!

Charming, authentic & current!

Lovely home in the historic district that will make you feel you are immersed in life in Wilmington. Easy walking distance to several mansions that are available to tour. A little further to the waterfront, but certainly walkable. The house is well equipped so you don't need to bring a lot of small household items. Great towels and great stall shower!

Cute, well stocked home

This property is really cute and clean. It is one side of a duplex. It is well updated and very well stocked (shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee pods, sugar, spices, condiments, etc). We loved that it is updated and we enjoyed both the front porch rockers and the back yard Adirondack chairs. The beds were good and the house was well kept. The neighborhood seemed safe. The bedrooms are upstairs and there is a small section of the stairs with no railing, which is something to consider if stairs are a challenge (we traveled with seniors). There is parking here, but the driveway is so narrow that it’s hard to even open the car doors. We just loaded & unloaded near the sidewalk and then pulled in. In this area, it’s just nice to have off-street parking! We enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the condition of the house and the amenities. We’d stay here again & recommend it to other!

This property was my first personal home; which I have since improved and converted into a place to share with others. This home is what sparked my passion for curating experiences and sharing wonderful spaces with others. Many historic duplexes in the downtown area will be a top-and-bottom style, while this property is well thought-out and very unique as features a side-by-side style, offering many advantages including private separate parking, outdoor areas, deck areas, and no noise up and down. Each side features a private driveway, which is hard to come by downtown where most houses must utilize only street parking. It has a large wrap-around front porch which is relaxing and inviting with multiple rocking chairs. A private back yard area tops it off. You will not find many properties or rentals in Downtown Wilmington with amenities like this.
