We invite you and your someone special to a romantic getaway at Pool La La - a brand new luxury 1 bedroom cabin with private indoor heated pool and hot tub on covered deck. Enjoy as a romantic getaway while relaxing on a porch rocker on the deck or bring the kids and they can splash in the pool and sleep on the sleeper sofa in the great room. This cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, dining area and stackable washer / dryer. Free WIFI

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Big expectations........

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was gorgeous. Love the wood work and the kitchen was great and the gas grill we used everyday which was a huge plus for us. The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on or relax on as most sleeper sofas are. Me and the wife took turns sitting in the single chair to be kind of comfortable as we watched Christmas movies for her birthday week. The bed was very firm but once you laid there for a sec it kinda formed to your body and was pretty comfy.The WI/FI for the tv was semi-good for the first day and then the rest of the time was terrible. Constantly freezing or the picture would go very bad because of poor WI/FI speed. The hot tub was a delight and we relaxed a lot in there. The "heated" swimming pool was a huge disappointment for us as we thought it would be heated and be at least kinda warm but was way to cold to get in and enjoy. We had planned on sitting in there and floating and watching tv from the pool but we were not even able to get in the water for it being so cold. Would be good if it was in the 80's or 90's but definitely not heated for colder temps. The room itself was very warm just not the water and the wicker furniture was not comfortable at all to sit on and watch tv. All in all we had a good time and made the best of the tv and furniture issues.

The main reason we booked that specific cabin was for that pool. We did get a text that the waterfall wasn’t working but happy to see it working when we arrived. We ended up using the hot tub. The pool temp would have been better if it was hotter outside but overall we had a great honeymoon and plan to book with you all next year for an anniversary trip! Thank you 😊

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good, with the exception of the pool alarms. The pool room door alarm was a nuisance, and the pool water alarm (set to swim mode) went off after 5 minutes activity or not. If the guest was able to set alarm to "mute" or "off", all would be well. However a screw blocked the "off" and "mute" settings. We understand insurance likely mandates these alarms, but they were a significant negative to our stay. Maybe a more user friendly system could be adopted, or the screw removed to allow pool use without screaming siren every 5 minutes.

The room with the pool was almost noxious because it was too enclosed and I ended up with a migraine. We were not happy that I left an earring on the table and it “wasnt found” but the place was quiet and close to town at the same time. That was an upside. The couches are also rather cheap feeling. Not comfortable either.

I could not recommend this place more!! They are very attentive, they message you to see if you need anything, and respond to anything you send right away. It was very hard for us to leave, we loved it so much. The pool room downstairs was always warm and inviting. We used the hottub more than anything, which was amazing. Getting a nice warm soak with some amazing views is the best. Being able to cook our own food and having everything we needed to do so was lovely. Elk springs I definitely my new favorite place to stay! Checking in is extremely easy, just enter your door code and done. The directions getting to the cabin were perfect. We absolutely loved our stay!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was rather disappointed with overall condition of cabin. Location and easy access to attractions were great. What bothers me is lack of true cleanliness, especially the bathroom, shower floors. Actually entire cabin flooring was not cleaned well. BTW, not even a broom to sweep up any mess. Also, bottom sheet had a tear and an after my toe caught it, the hole is now larger. Finally, the TV buffering got old!!

Never Again

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was quite the experience. First, on my way up I was notified that my cabin would not be ready at the check in time, and that I would not be compensated for it. The appearance of the cabin was nice, however after a long drive we were anxious to relax in the hot tub that was filthy. Along with the deck that had food stains on it. I reported the issue and someone was sent out the next day. When the cleaning people arrived they didn't knock and just walked in an needless to say we were not decent. Embarrassing!!! The pans were dirty and there was only a tiny bottle of dishe detergent and one pod for the dishwasher. Only one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom so bring your own. The electricity went out for a few but I don't think it was the fault of the cabin, but that didn't help the experience. I almost forgot after the cleaning people cleaned the hot tub.. we had to trouble shoot and recalibrate because it would not heat. I requested directions from the Resort team and they sent us directions for a different tub. But we found the right one on YouTube. The drain in the bathroom shower was clogged and filled up fast when we showered. The pool is small not deep but OK for a small group. Also, not too much privacy there are a lot of cabins around.

We did not have that experience at Pool La La. It just seemed like housekeeping didn’t really care about this cabin, unfortunately. Hopefully it was just a one time issue. I did contact the company and send pictures of our issues and they did respond so hopefully it was better for the next guest but I don’t think we will ever attempt to return to this specific cabin.
