Come stay at Downtown Whitefish's Packer's Roost! Brand new building, exceptionally clean, and a location you can't beat: 1 block from downtown Central Ave, walking distance to all Whitefish has to offer. Washer and dryer, full bath, toiletries, hair dryer. Full kitchen. 1 King bed, Queen Hide-a-Bed, 8-seat dining table; new furniture, Wifi, 65-inch flat screen , patio/balcony. A combined two car garage for secure, off street parking.
THE AREA
Whitefish, Montana offers something for everyone! If you are an outdoor enthusiast, there are activities for you YEAR ROUND!
Let's start with our world class ski and snowboard resort. Whitefish Mountain Resort is called Big Mountain by the locals for a reason, it contains over 3,000 skiable acres with runs varying from the bunny hill to double black diamond backcountry! This all comes at a very affordable price, with lift tickets in the $80 range, and available even cheaper if booked in advance online. The resort even offers free daily tours twice per day by their on-mountain ambassadors.
The fun doesn't stop when the snow does either. In the Fall, Summer, and Spring The Whitefish Bike Park provides access to over 30 miles of lift accessed trails. If you are looking for some high flying fun, the resort offers Montana's longest Zip Line Tour!
The city offers a FREE shuttle network known as the S.N.O.W bus with the nearest stop only .2 miles from the condo! This bus will take you all the way to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views!
Whitefish has become a sought after biking destination for both road and mountain biking. There are a plethora of singletrack and trailhead options to choose from, all within only a few miles of downtown. Outside of the resort, some of our favorites are: Spencer Mountain, the Pig Farms, Round Meadows, and Tally Lake.
One of the most unique experiences you can have in Glacier National Park is riding on The Going-To-The-Sun Road while it is only open to hikers and cyclist during the Spring season. There are even electric assisted bikes available for rent!
Speaking of Glacier…..
Our condo is located only 26 miles from the West entrance of Glacier National Park. The park contains over 700 miles of hiking trails, spread across 1 million acres, that provide a great way to experience nature regardless of your hiking skill level. The 50 mile drive from West entrance to East entrance on Going-To-The-Sun Road is tagged a National Historic Landmark. With over 71 species of mammals, keep your eyes peeled for bear, moose, bighorn sheep, elk, mountain goats, and deer just to name a few! Don't forget to take your bear spray which we provide free for your use.
Don’t forget that the beautiful Whitefish Lake is only one mile away! Take a stroll over to City Beach to partake in some awesome water activities like: boating, camping, swimming, paddle boarding, and fishing. The lake rarely gets windy so the water skiing and wakeboarding are almost always top notch. Full and half day boat rentals are even available!
Other area activities include golfing, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and year round ice skating!
Your condo is only steps away from some of the best dining options in Montana. Some recommendations include:
Tupelo Grille, Whitefish Lake Restaurant, Indah Sushi, Pescado Blanco, Ciao Mambo and Firebrand. Stop by Sweet Peaks for dessert!
If shopping is more your style, Downtown offers everything from quant boutiques to clothing and jewelry to antiques and even dinosaur bones.
Looking for some nightlife!? Take a stroll down Central Ave to enjoy some of the area's best craft beers and cocktails.

THE SPACE
This brand new condo has an open floorplan with one bedroom and one bath. The space is just over 1,000 sq ft and comfortably sleeps 4 adults on one king bed and one queen size pullout. The condo features an open concept living, dining and kitchen area that includes an island, full size kitchen stocked with all cooking essentials, dining table and comfortable living room. Best of all you will have private access to your own balcony with views of Big Mountain and downtown Whitefish.
You will also have a private parking space in the 1st floor garage providing the most convenient parking in downtown! Pull into the garage and walk up the indoor stairs directly into your home away from home.
No car, no problem! Take a shuttle from the airport or a taxi and you will be able to walk to everything downtown directly from the condo, including the S.N.O.W. bus stop to take you on a short ride up to the slopes.
GUEST ACCESS
The entire condo is all yours for the duration of your stay. You will be provided a keypad code to unlock the front door for contactless entry.
Our condo is so conveniently located downtown that you can easily enjoy your vacation without a vehicle. There are multiple shuttle services that provide day trips from Whitefish into Glacier National Park and transportation to and from the airport. The whitefish mountain S.N.O.W. bus provides free transportation to Big Mountain Resort.

Hello! We are Sean and Megan - newlyweds and avid adventures. We live right here in beautiful northwest Montana. We spend our winters at Big Mountain and our summers hiking through Glacier National park and boating at all the amazing lakes. We have yet to meet a season we don't love out here - Spring, Fall, Winter or Summer there is always an outdoor adventure to be had. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We wanted a property in the heart of charming downtown Whitefish. These condos are perfectly situated so you can walk everywhere downtown and you have access to a garage so no one has to deal with finding street parking. We love doing staycations here with just the two of us or welcoming friends and family. From quaint and quirky restaurants to live music to boutique shopping, downtown has something for everyone. It is impossible not to fall in love with Downtown Whitefish after a stay here!
