Nice cabin, close to Gatlinburg. Was kind of difficult to take our dog to the restroom around cabin due to not really having a yard and having to go behind Corbin by stepping off the walkway to the cabin but we made due for the 3 days we were there. Our dog loved being able to watch squirrels run around from the screened in porch. If you plan to do most of your cooking at the cabin Iâd consider being some more pans as thereâs only 2 smaller pans, however that wasnât an issue for us because we usually only make breakfast at the cabin when visiting the area. Overall we were very pleased with the cabin and location.
We loved the stay. Everything was nice and neat. Wood was provided for a fire but we didnât use it. Remember to bring a lighter!! We even got to see a bear! Would love to stay here again with our kids this go round.
This is the perfect location for exploring the Smoky Mtns from Gatlinburg. You can easily get on the bypass around town and onto two main park roads. It's the perfect size for a couple or small family. We really enjoyed our stay here, especially soaking in the hot tub after long hikes.
Property has the potential to be amazing. Great location with proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
The property needs a deep cleaning and updates. Had the feeling of being cabin in the woods that isnt used often. Lack outdoor lighting upon arrival. Bed was good.
Nice quaint cabin, perfect for a quick weekend getaway for a couple or a couple with 'bunk bed' aged kids. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, but far enough away too.
Suggestions, supply fire starter logs or kindling and some coffee / k-cups. Need brush for pool table and rails are pretty dead.
Nice visit, would rent again.
The cabin was very clean and had basically everything we needed (short on soap, trash bags, and coffee but we provided our own). The grill was nice and the view from the patio and porch is great. Good location right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A ten minute drive to either depending on traffic. The only down side was the very dicey road up to the cabin. 4 WD is an absolute must in the winter. I would stay again.
The cabin is perfectly located midway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. 5 minutes away from either place. Although the narrow windy road leading to the cabin made my wife a little nervous. The road is well paved and we had no trouble getting to the cabin. The cabin came supplied with towels and cooking necessities ( utensils, pots and pans ect..) you will need to bring your own coffee, salt and pepper and food stuffs. Overall we were completely satisfied with our stay for our honeymoon. Would definitely stay here again.
The cabin itself was beautiful but it had been smoked in heavily. Not good for someone with asthma. The ceiling fan over the bed was so dirty that huge chunks of dust were falling all over the bed. Other than that it was very clean and a nice cabin.
Adorable house, great area - lacks attention to detail
90% of me loved it, so I'll rate it a 4 out of 5. However, there were some really obvious oversights which, if addressed, would make this a fantastic rental.
We arrived after dark in the rain (our problem, but) there were absolutely NO outside lights on! It was completely pitch black, trying to navigate a mountain road and driveway we'd never seen before. We passed the house a couple times and eventually had to get out and walk with our phones & umbrellas to try to 'stumble upon' the driveway & stairs. In the daylight, that seems silly but it was very difficult the night before.
The MBR was wonderful -you can actually watch TV better from the bed than you can the living room couch. Walking out to the hot tub from there is ideal for a couple. Great set-up! We also took advantage of the pool table and loved that feature as well.
The kitchen has all the necessities, but the kitchen sink only runs hot water, so you're forever burning your hands trying to wash anything.
The bedroom, bathrooms (both showers are VERY tiny but bathtub is huge), kitchen and even hot tub were all quite clean, which is really all that matters, right? However, it was disheartening to see the Halloween-decoration-level of cobwebs and debris hanging from the outside windows & all corners of the house. (FYI, it was Oct but it was NOT decorated, lol.) For a home that has so many windows to enjoy outside views, the exterior of the house has been neglected for a while, and it does affect the vibe.
