Un lit bien fait, avec une couette matelassée et deux oreillers, dont l’un porte l’inscription « le bonheur, c’est fait maison ». Deux tables de chevet, chacune avec une lampe, sont placées de chaque côté du lit.
Une table ronde, entourée de quatre chaises, chacune dotée d’un siège et d’un dossier rembourrés. La table et les chaises sont faites de bois et de métal. Au-dessus de la table, on peut voir un tableau encadré représentant des bouteilles de vin.
Un bâtiment en briques sur lequel on peut lire l’inscription : « St. Louis Court, rue St. Louis ».

Overall a pleasant experience. Check in required a search for keys and resulted in me having to find a spare set in their utility room as whoever cleaned the unit forgot to leave the keys in the lockbox. The AC unit did go out early morning one day, the owner was there to address it before noon. Other than that, it is a cute unit, comfortable beds and well equipped with all yhe necessities. Would definitely stay again if I was ever returning on Baton Rouge.

Perfect Location for Football Games

We came for the LSU/Arkansas football game. The unit was perfect for our stay. It was walking distance to the downtown activities and easy driving to the stadium. Paul, the unit manager, was super easy to work with. We will definately rent this unit again for future trips.

Good little spot for LSU games

We came to town for a LSU football game. The place is about 2.5 miles from the stadium and maybe a mile from downtown Baton Rouge. It was easy to walk to Baton Rouge and we caught a Uber to the game. The location is slightly sketchy but we didn't feel unsafe. The bathroom could use some renovation as well, the water pressure was pretty bad. Otherwise, it was a comfy place to stay and got the job done!

BEWARE - GO ELSEWHERE

We didn’t hear a word from the owner of the property (I booked 2 months in advance) at any point in the process. We arrived in Baton Rouge and still couldn’t get ahold of him, the VRBO team had to give us the lockbox code. When we arrived, the lockbox was already on the code that lets you in (sketchy). We walked into wet towels on the floor (the only 2 towels on the property), dirty and unmade beds, and feces in the toilet. It was obvious and apparent that the room had recently been vacated and no cleaning service had come through. We ended up leaving the property minutes after arrival (as did the unit next to us for the same reasons). Still haven’t heard from the owner, and VRBO offered to refund half of a day on a 3 day stay. I would give this unit and VRBO customer service in general a 0 out of 5 if I could.

Sorry for your troubles. We had a fatal software crash that double booked reservations, wiped out reservations, took 2 reservations and combined into one meaning if someone left we didn't know there was a back to back reservation, just showed one. I could go on. It was devestating. We found and solved the problem. It effected about a half dozen reservations and you were one. Can't tell you how sorry I am. But the issues have been resolved.

This house was absolutely filthy. We showed up around 10 PM to find the sheets dirty with hair on them, the toilet (see pictures) and shower were disgusting and there was still feminine products in the bathroom trash can. I had to throw all the sheets, pillow cases and towels into the washing machine, which was terrible when we just wanted to go to bed. There was dust/dirt everywhere. All of the carpet, molding, fans, corners and floors look like they have not been cleaned in years. There was not a vacuum in the house or else I would have cleaned more.The neighborhood was not the best, we are two 30 year old men so we were not worried but probably not a great area for women/kids.We did not use the kitchen but it seemed like the cleanest part of the house and seemed to be well stocked.It does have a washer and dryer, which was also nice (even though I should not have needed to use them).We stayed for a football game, and the proximity for the game was about an hour walk to the stadium.There is a gas station really close which was nice, but not super close to many food options (McDonald’s about a quarter mile away).The owner reached out to me before the trip with instructions for entering the house. It is a lock box on the door with a physical key. We did not reach out other than that.The house had a decent TV with many streaming options and wifi available.For the price I would have preferred a hotel, which would have been half the price.

Short Notice Business Stay

If anyone plans on traveling to Baton Rouge, I would encourage them to stay in this listing. Proximity. Proximity. Proximity! The host is responsive (in the rare occasion you may need something addressed). And the condo provides all you would need for your stay with the added touch of Louisiana character. When I’m town SIE I’ll definitely be looking for Paul’s listings - You can’t go wrong. Definitely appreciative of the host being able to work with me on such short notice.
