À propos de cet hébergement
Stylish 1BR Apartment in Montparnasse Paris
This apartment is located in an area of Paris which has been frequented by artists, and writers, since the 1920s.
Our ARTIST-MONTPARNASSE apartment is located on the fourth, of this historic 1885 building.
It offers 75 sqm of space or roughly 700 sqft, it overlooks the Avenue Edgard Quinet with its lush trees line, and, being on the 4th floor, it has a very bright light all day long.
One enters the living room and the dining area. Both owners are artists, thus the whole living room is covered with paintings, art books, pottery, etc.
There is, by Paris standards, a large, fully equipped kitchen. The dining table can comfortably seat six people. The bedroom is replete with a double bed, desk, and other furnishings.
An ensuite bathroom contains an Italian walking shower, a toilet, and double sinks.
The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, and theaters. The famous store MONOPRIX (food shop) is located right across the street.
A farmer's market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday, and an enviable typical Parisian flea market is open every Sunday.
The Montparnasse train station is a 4-minute walk. However, if you prefer, taxis and buses to be abundant, Uber can also be hired.
The world-renowned store LE BON MARCHE, (high-end clothing, shoes, jewelry, beauty products, etc.) is also a short walk away. A place worth discovering is La Grande Epicerie, which boasts a food hall, pastry shop, restaurant, and an out-of-this-world wine cellar.
The magnificent Hotel Lutetia (4,5 stars) is also nearby and is an exceptional & wonderful place to stop by, after a day discovering Paris, for an aperitif, and why not dinner?
La Closerie de Lilas was Hemingway's home away from home and his favorite hangout! Renowned & famous people such as Charles Baudelaire, Scott Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein & Alice Toklas, Jean-Paul Sartre, James Joyce & Samuel Becket were regulars…
From La Closerie des Lilas a visit to Le Jardin du Luxembourg is a must, it was created by Marie de Médicis in 1612, and it's a verdant park where you can stroll among, the fragrant plantings, have a seat & relax in the provided chairs, or go by the lake, to watch children launch their toy sailboats.
You're now in the center of the Latin Quarter & in front of the Pantheon building which opened in 1790. Inside the Pantheon are buried well-known people such as Marie Curie, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, as well as King Vittorio Emanuele II.

Hello, I'm Bernard, a Frenchman and the founder of HOLIDAYS EUROPE RENTALS. My journey began in the bustling streets of New York City, where I studied photography at the School of Visual Arts. This vibrant city was my home, but my career in fashion, beauty, and portrait photography took me across the globe, with Paris often becoming my second home.
My work allowed me to experience a variety of accommodations, from the opulent luxury of five-star hotels to the simplicity of basic lodgings. Each stay offered unique insights into what makes a place feel welcoming and comfortable. These experiences became invaluable when an accident forced me to pivot from photography to a new passion—curating exceptional vacation rentals.
With HOLIDAYS EUROPE RENTALS, I bring the best of my travel experiences to you. Every property I offer reflects the lessons learned from years of global travel. Attention to detail in reception, concierge services, decoration, and additional amenities ensures that each stay feels like a home away from home. My goal is for my guests to feel as if they are true Parisians during their stay, experiencing the city like a local.
What started with a single apartment has now expanded to include a diverse portfolio of beautiful properties in Paris, charming houses throughout France, and stunning retreats in Mauritius, Morocco, and the Seychelles. My passion for discovering new and unique places continues to drive me, and I am always looking for the next gem to add to our collection.
When you choose to stay with HOLIDAYS EUROPE RENTALS, you’re not just booking a place to sleep—you’re gaining an experience curated by someone who understands the nuances of hospitality and the joy of feeling at home, no matter where you are in the world.
I look forward to welcoming you and helping you create unforgettable memories.
