Indulge in historic Downtown Savannah in this artfully decorated 2 story carriage house. Great location steps from Forsyth Park! Shared courtyard and patio area to enjoy the coastal weather. Downstairs bedroom and full bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower plus upstairs loft bedroom offers a serene escape. Full kitchen. Washer and Dryer.

​​​​​​​While the property offers manicured comforts and Southern panache, the surrounding neighborhood, known as the Victorian district, affirms Savannah's status as a premiere vacation destination. The Victorian District was home to famous Revolutionary war heroes and dignitaries, including Eli Whitney and Juliette Gordon Low, founder of The Girl Scouts of America. This quaint, pristine landscape is pedestrian friendly, with quick access to guided bus tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, and The Fragrant Garden for the Blind. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) main campus is close by, as are numerous world-class, trending restaurants offering a plethora of dining options an easy walk or bike ride away.

This is a cute historic carriage house in an excellent location next to Grant Park. Perfect for two couples but…the one bathroom is small. A good value and the location is worth it.

This house was lovely! Until the 3rd night when a bat fell on one of the members of my party in their bed at 5 am. The host was rude, disrespectful, dismissive, and incompetent when I reached out for help. If you are ok with waiting in limbo for the last few days of your trip to find out if you need to receive the post exposure rabies vaccine I would absolutely recommend this place!

The guest informed us after she had called the City to remove one bat that came into the house and at that point did not ask for our help with anything. This is a rare occurrence but not a shock to us because Savannah is a tropical climate full of flying insects and the associated food chain so we have small bats that are part of our environment. These bats are a known entity in terms of their behavior and they are shy "beneficial insectivores" that do not bite people and do not live in this house. They do fly around Forsyth Park and eat mosquitoes at dusk and one chased an insect into this home without the guest noticing and sadly it could not find its way out. We appreciated that the guest had already had it removed before she reported the incident to us. If she had needed help removing it we would have helped. Several days later the guest asked what we were going to do about her potential rabies. So we asked if she had been to a doctor/clinic and she had not gone to any clinic at all. We did tell her that any co-pays etc for getting checked or getting any shots she wanted (even though she confirmed the bat did not bite anyone) would be covered by the trip insurance she had. We sent her all the links to the insurance forms to use if she had a claim. We also called Animal Control and DNR and confirmed nothing urgent or unusual occurred with this bat.

When we first tried to find the property, the address on the house was 16 not 116. Evidently one of the numbers had fallen off. After I realized that it was all good to go. We loved the place, my granddaughter loved the loft bedroom all to herself. After we realized how easy it was to use the DOT system we were great. Also the free parking was a great extra. In the past always paying to park got expensive in a hurry.

This space held me so well. I enjoyed the neighborhood and park nearby. The coffee shop and restaurants nearby were great as well. Parking was something to figure out but not too bad.

Great place, stocked with everything I needed to cook simple meals. Location is perfect to the park and for walking to many popular locations. I was visiting my college son and the loft bedroom gave extra space for him to stay and hang out during my visit. Great for friends or a couple . Tiny, quaint, and full of character.

Loved staying here! It’s convenient to a lot and allowed us to walk and explore Savannah like we wanted. Our only complaint would be the beds being hard, but that really person to person preference.
