Enjoy the beauty of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Walking distance to the lake, where you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and dining at Gar Woods Restaurant. Minutes away from Kings Beach and Tahoe City. The cabin is perfect size for 6 adults, with large bedrooms, and a kitchen with a perfect counter for entertaining.
Great property and location. Exactly as advertised on VRBO. Short 10 minute walk to the lake in a quiet neighborhood. Very much enjoyed our stay. Owner was very communicative and was easy to reach and work with prior to and during our stay.
This comfortable older cabin felt like a longtime family cabin with generous owners: holiday decorations all around, super well-stocked, plenty of food staples in kitchen to share, laundry soap for the washer and dryer, tons of blankets, pillows, etc. Check-in and check-out was very straightforward. Owner replied to inquiry within an hour. Easy access in the snow with a fairly level neighborhood and circular driveway; short walk to lakeside beach and breakfast/sandwich shop that also rents watersport gear. Our family visited both Squaw/Palisades and Northstar; perfect location right between them.
Cute & affordable rental home in north Lake Tahoe. Close to everything in a good neighborhood! We loved it! Can sleep 8! The owner was attentive and easy to reach. It was stocked up well better than most rentals. I read reviews about people complaining about the stove but I loved using it & had fun cooking in it! Loved the set up of the bathrooms too! Highly recommend this rental!
I stayed here for a week with my three teens and it was lovely. This is not a fancy place and itâs absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of beds, a fold out couch, patio, grill, washer/dryer. I appreciated the beach chairs too!
We has a pleasant stay at the house. It was comfortable for our family of six and was well stocked with laundry detergent, soap, toilet paper, etc. We stayed during a blizzard so we appreciated that the driveway was plowed regularly when the snow was heavy.
Very nice location near Tahoe city. Easy to communicate with property owner. I had to move around my dates, owner was dry accommodating. Have to drive 10-15 mins to get groceries, just be aware of that. Would stay again.
Really thought the place was great. Functional and affordable. Would definitely rent the home again,
-It's a 1970's home that has been well maintained!!!
-Layout of living room, kitchen area, dining area was great. Has a large front facing deck off the living room .
Large kitchen area for prepping meals. Bedroom size great with dressers and plenty of lines.
-Inside washing machine/dryer great for washing laundry on extended stays.
-Storage shed has extra tables and extra chairs for deck.
-The bathroom set up was adequate and served three couples with no problem. We did run out of hot water, once, for showers so recommend if every one is going to take showers watch hot water usage (we think it was because we cleaned kitchen using hot water prior to showering)
-It does get warm inside the home during the day in summertime, but if open all the windows it cools down nicely in the evening.
-Its a 5-10 minute bike ride or 15-20 minute walk to nearest beach. Home is up a hill so bring bike with gears or E-bike
-The hosts instructions were perfect.
-Only bummer about our stay,( not related to home) was there was NO Fireworks Show on 4th of July on North Lake Tahoe. The county did a drone show but you had to be in Kings Beach which we avoided.
Happy Travels- The moses family
I think this was a good example of getting what you pay for. The house is old and it smelled that way when we first walked in. The kitchen sink was surrounded by little black bugs that we couldnât identify. The oven and cooktop in the kitchen are ancient. We were almost afraid to use them, but they actually worked fine. I woke up every morning with my hip hurting from the bed. The sofa is small and could only accommodate three of us. There were two chairs behind the sofa on the other side of the entrance walkway. The whole layout was not conducive to a family hangout. There was one shower in between the two bathrooms which was interesting for six adults. We happened to be there during a time when the temps. got up around 80 and the house has no A/C. We were extremely uncomfortable as the front of the house felt like an oven during the day. Thank God it cools off at night, but even then we needed to place a fan in the window to get some air going through. Thereâs no screen on the front door and the window next to it is just a piece of glass, not a window that you can open. The house is in desperate need of updating and some repair. I hate to say so much negative, but we were just not very comfortable. The location is great and, of course, youâre in Tahoe. Mr. Rossi was courteous enough and this is one of, if not THE most affordable places in the area. My advice - donât expect a whole lot except for the surroundings.
This is a great location. The house needs new carpet and a new slider to deck. Slider does not slide open very easily. Good price for what you get. I had friend's stay at this house last year and same thing, Slider and Carpet. Lots of parking. I have been coming to Tahoe for 40 years. We rented 3 houses this year to accommodate our family. If all your doing is sleeping here you will be fine. LOVE TAHOE!!!
Pros: This was a perfect location and size for our family, the kitchen is dated but well stocked, nice selection of pots and pains, cutlery, plates. The bathrooms were sufficient and well supplied with toilet paper, shampoo, soap, we appreciated the washer/dryer and laundry soap, adequate towels, linens for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and beds fairly comfortable, lots of blankets for cold nights, the gas fireplace put out some nice heat and gave a cozy feel to the cabin. Graig was responsive to my email inquires and I was able to contact him by phone when I had a question. Cons: the carpet in the entry, living room area, is in desperate need of replacement, very off putting; with lots of stains, made the cabin feel dirty. Also the cabin is in need of a good vacuum cleaner. If you have a young child who would be crawling around on the floor, you might want to reconsider. The cabin overall needs a deep cleaning., dust bunnies under the beds along with a ski pass from 2020, dried food, nut shells, pieces of paper under the living room couch. We would consider renting here again if the carpet were replaced and overall cleaning was done reqularly.
Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach and an amazing little mini golf/ Game Center for the kids. Had parking hot the boat that two vehicles. The house had everything we needed already stocked. Canât wait to come back sometime in the winter.
Great little place located in a neighborhood minutes from everything. Open concept allows for families to spread out but still engage with each other. Bedrooms are spacious and allow for individuals to escape the open concept if desired.
