This NEW 1000 square foot Southwestern Santa Fe style casita is located on a 6 acre property behind the main home. It is accessed by its own private road and parking, and is elevated behind the main home with some spectacular 360 degree views of the Sandia Mountains! The mountains are so close....you feel like you can touch them! The floor plan is open and the ceiling in the living room/dining is a striking wood viga and latilla ceiling. You are surrounded by beauty both inside and out. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the home is filled with designer furnishings and artwork..

Our private casita was at the end of the road on the side of a hill with picturesque wild mustangs & views of the snow coming over the mountain! Judy is a very gracious hostess. She was very available with answers to questions. Go eat at the Placitas Cafe just down the road.

Didn’t want to leave!

Perfect place, situated in a good, quiet area close enough to more things than you could do in a week. Beautiful view, I’d quit my job and stay there forever if I could! Great place for two people for several days, will definitely be back!

Relaxing Vibes With Beautiful Views

I could not have asked for a better place to stay. We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. There was great communication from the host. The place was beautifully decorated and had very peaceful, relaxing vibes. There were gorgeous views no matter which direction you looked. I would definitely book a stay here again.

Fabulous stay at Casa Pajarito

Ideal location, great view of Sandia Mt., beautiful sunrise and sunsets, private, quiet, refreshing, cozy and charming. The Casita has everything you need for a cozy stay. Full modern kitchen and appliances, living/dining room that faces the mountain. Bedroom with a great view. We loved it here! Judy is very responsive and checks in to make sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend!!

superb!

We traveled to the area of Bernalillo to pick up some material for a bath remodel. The casita in Placitas was the perfect answer to our needs. Just a few minutes east of our destination, the Casa Pajarito made for a quiet relaxing spot to decompress at the foot of the Sandia Mountains. The fall colors were spectacular and unexpected April snow was a nice surprise. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

Great Property and Host

The property has fantastic views and was exactly as described. Judy provided everything we could have possibly needed, and then some. Not a thing to complain about. It is a quiet location and the area has good hiking and mountain biking.

Exploring Placitas!

I highly recommend Judy’s Casa Pajarita in lovely Placitas! The casita is beautifully decorated, quiet, spotless, spacious, and stocked with everything one could possibly need. I enjoyed the snacks and wine after a long day of travel. The property has inviting beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces in front and back with fabulous views of the Sandia mountains! The sunsets are vibrant and breathtaking! Keep your eyes open for the wild horses, hummingbirds, and other creatures that call this place home. Judy is a thoughtful, attentive, and easy to reach host. I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic property

Great location midway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Yet it is out in the mountains with beautiful views. Property is very cute and Judy is a terrific host. This is a great property for a couple. Hope to stay there again.
