The place was quiet and spotlessly clean, with oak floors for character. The apartment location was perfect. A lille side street near a street lined with independently-owned shops and cafes and restaurants with sidewalk patios. The surrounding district included the Place de la Republique, a central square with a subway stop where several lines intersected. The neighbourhood contained countless shops, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, etc. as well as a municipal park (with a nearly police station). To the south were a number of museums. To the north was the Canal St. Martin, a great place for runners or just a long wall.I would warmly recommend Gaia's place.
