1) BEST location! Legacy Villas are directly adjacent to the world famous La Quinta Resort that is a lovely 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from our unit. "La Casa" is located in the less lively backside of the complex, DIRECTLY ADJACENT to our favorite pool (with bathroom and shower), an oversized hot tub & stunning mountain views framing the background. If you are looking to join the action, we are only a 3-4 minute walk from the beautiful main pool area that has a kids pool, splash area, adult lap pool, general pool, free cabanas, Legacy Grill (seasonal), gas BBQ area, a fully equipped gym, club house, 2 outdoor fireplaces & a hammock garden.
2) BEST design! We spent over 2 months remodeling & upgrading the house to make it light and cheery and replaced all furnishings with fun, eclectic pieces, unusual light fixtures & original artwork to make your home-away-from-home just a bit more special... We guarantee there ain't another unit like it...
3) BEST location for enjoying pool and sun! The unit is directly facing our favorite pool with large hot tub, shower & bathroom. The patio faces west and is fully covered, so you get some afternoon sun. Perfect for dining al fresco while soaking in the gorgeous views. If you are visiting in the cooler months, there is the back patio (off the master) that faces south & is perfect for getting all day sun.
4) BEST layout! This is one of only 8 total SINGLE STORY lock off units with no one above or below that comes with a 2 car garage! Bedrooms are on the back end of the property and only 1 shared wall in the living room ensures you have maximum privacy.
5) BEST amenities! We follow the spirit of "more is more" and strive to provide EVERYTHING for you, so all you need to bring is your clothes and food. We have WIFI, cable, smart TVs in every room, Netflix, everything for fun days at the pool (towels, coolers, wagon, pool toys, life jackets and puddle jumpers for the little ones) a fully stocked kitchen with all kinds of appliances, electric BBQ on our patio, a front loading HE washer & dryer with detergent provided, bathroom amenities, board games, books, and so much more! We really hope to meet and exceed your every need.
6) BEST sleeping arrangements for both families AND adult groups! The master suite has a Cal King and the secondary bedroom was specifically set up to accommodate both adults and kids. 2 adults can sleep in the separate twin beds, or they can be pushed together to create a king sized bed. For kids that might not sleep in a bed yet, we added an extra twin mattress on the floor, so the room can accommodate up to 3 kids. For our tiniest guests, we also provide a pack & play. The sectional in the living room has a Queen sleeper couch, which ensures that we can sleep a max of 6 guests comfortably. FOR LARGER GROUPS UP TO 8, you may want to add the attached “La Casita”
7) BEST amenities for families! Since we are parents and know what it entails to travel with kids, we provide a pack & play, including bedding, baby monitor, high chair, plastic dishes & utensils, a stroller, wagon + everything you need for a day at the pool with little ones - IT'S ALL THERE FOR YOU! Plus bins under the bed filled with Lincoln logs, books, Legos, drawing supplies, stuffed animals, games… and a TV with cable and Netflix - the kids will be kept busy and happy for days.
8) BEST parking option in our 2 car garage! Only a very small number of units have 2 car garages and anyone who has been to the desert knows it's priceless… We are also lucky to have loads of additional street parking right across from our unit.
9) BEST place for anyone wanting to bring their furry friend! We are passionate dog owners and want to ensure you can bring yours on vacation. So we replaced all carpet with Luxury Vinyl & hired the best cleaning crew in the desert 😊 1 dog under 50lbs., current on vaccinations & flea treatment, $30 extra per nt.

In March, it is also a top destination for tennis fans visiting the BNP Paribas in Indian Wells and during the month of April, it's festival season, attracting hundreds of thousands of music lovers attending Coachella and Stagecoach. Hi there! I am Britta - an import from Germany, but I have lived in Southern California for the past 25+ years and still loving the never ending supply of sunshine :-)
Having worked in the travel industry for most of my life, my husband Robert and I have traveled extensively, including several trips with our 2 girls. We just LOVE staying at private vacation rentals, since it's just so much for comfortable, spacious and affordable, especially for families. So in 2009 we started "Mickey's Magical Getaways" and created 4 amazing vacation rentals by Disneyland and have since hosted well over 10,000 excited Disney fans.

We don't know for sure, but every time we come out to visit (even if only for a few hours), we come home relaxed and recharged.
For many years we stayed at the resort next door for our anniversaries. After 2 years of looking and waiting for just the right unit, we were THRILLED to find the perfect townhouse to buy at Legacy Villas in 2017.
"One CHIC Desert Retreat - la VILLA" (VRBO #1053654) was born. I put my decade of experience in design, decorating and vacation rental management to use and really went above and beyond to create an extraordinary place that is quite different from all the others at Legacy Villas. We believe in "more is more" and love to spoil our guests who keep coming back year after year, leaving us glowing 5 star reviews.
