Lindberg's Landing - 1200 pieds carrés, 4 chambres, 2 salles de bains isolée, charmant chalet avec 800 'de façade sur le lac West Branch Lake. Aucun voisin de chaque côté. Idéal pour la pêche et la natation; comprend un bateau de pêche et un pédalo! La maison comprend un foyer au gaz sur pied, une télévision à écran plat de 52 pouces, un lecteur DVD, un intérieur en pin et en cèdre à languette et rainure, des plafonds cathédrale, des ventilateurs de plafond, une cuisine complète et une buanderie. Détendez-vous sur 16 acres dans la forêt nationale de Hiawatha, loin de tout, mais toujours proche de Munising et de Pictured Rocks. Beaucoup de sentiers de randonnée, motoneige de porte en sentier. Bonne chasse, motoneige, 4 roues. Tous les draps et serviettes de bain sont inclus. Foyer extérieur, barbecue au charbon, véranda au bord du lac pour se détendre. Great location at beautiful cabin

We had a fun stay at this cabin with our daughters and dog. We would recommend to others. Beautiful wood throughout comfy bed in master, nice having two baths, kayaks, fire pit.

Peaceful Getaway

It's right at the heart fo the Hiawatha Forest situated next to a small lake but still close to Pictured Rocks and to a few nice trails that are only few minutes away.We enjoyed the peace and quiet this place offered.The Morning and Sunset Kayaks were the best to experience the lake,enjoyed the bonfire too in the cooling temp at night.Indian river is only few minutes drive for when you want to explore more with kayaks too .Perfect location for what we needed.It's spotless,especially the kitchen which we used in our enitre stay :) .Patio was very nice, with comfortable chair,enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sun rise.We will definitely come back!Alot more to explore!

Too hot.

No AC. Not mentioned in advertisements. If you stay during the summer, be prepared for the potential of 80-85 degree indoor temps. That said, I’d imagine this is a wonderful and comfortable place to stay in the cooler months. Great secluded location. Well equipped for cooking and enjoying the lake. We would stay here again, but would probably bring portable AC in the event hotter temps arise.

A private getaway

This property was very private. We sat on the deck and listened to the birds. We didnt see people or cars. We took advantage of the boat and fishing dock. There was plenty of room in the cabin for the 5 of us. It was well stocked. The gas grill was an excellent bonus! We were only 20 minutes or so from Munising when we wanted to do the touristy things

Best place in Munising!

We've been coming to Munising off and on for the past 20+ years. We've stayed at hotels, motels, apartments, cabins, etc. But this is the best place we've stayed -- BY FAR! It's exactly as advertised, except it's on 21 acres instead of 14. Plenty of area to explore, checkout wildlife, and have some adventures. The pier is great for fishing, and the jon boat and kayaks allow exploration of the lake. The house is plenty large and the kitchen well equipped. It's a short drive to Pictured Rocks and Munising. Lisa and the management team are great to work with and very responsive. Thank you for making our getaway easy and carefree! All in all, I dare you to find a better place to stay in the Munising area. We are already planning a return trip and look forward to the privacy, comfort, and enjoyment this cabin/location has to offer. Sadly, I could only give a 5-star rating. If a 10-star rating were available, that would be my score. Seriously, the place can't be beat!

Worst Property and very bad experience

We had a terrible experience staying at this property, that too on a hefty price. Feeling cheated by VRBO and the property owner. The property had zero maintenance and cheapest furniture. The bedsheet, towels, blanket, pillow covers everything were dirty and cheap quality. Mattresses would feel to be made up of just spring without any cushion and were very uncomfortable. Couches were also spring only and seemed 30 years old and dirty. Pillow covers had women hairs and stain marks on it. I got skin irritations and rashes after using the sheets. The backyard lawn area was full of dog poops and you cannot walk in the lawn to get to the lake. You cannot use grills, as the grill was very dirty and rusted and was situated in the middle of the same backyard with dog poops. There is no AC and it was very hot during our stay, so this was also a real bad experience. The Kitchen vent was not working. The ceiling light was not working in one of the room. Overall, I would say that the property was not at all maintained or cleaned properly and our stay was really a bad experience. People go on vacation to enjoy and relax but we got more stressed I would say. That too after paying a good amount as the property rate was way too expensive for such a bad experience. We could have changed the property but it was just two days stay and we already paid a good amount, so just tolerated everything. I would give zero star and will not recommend this to anybody unless they maintain well.

A quiet getaway

A very nice, quiet place. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was large enough to comfortably accommodate our party of 6. We had everything we needed.

Peaceful family getaway.

We had a wonderful time on this peaceful secluded lake property! The house was well stocked and very clean. The paddle and row boat a great bonus. Big kitchen and nice deck to just sit and watch the gorgeous view. Property manager was above and beyond excellent.

Comfortable and clean

The lakehouse was the perfect combination of comfortable, clean, and private. The appliances were up-to-date, the showers and bathrooms were spotless, the temperature was easy to control and the access to a private yard, lake, paddle boat, bonfire, you-name-it was all exceptional. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a true "getaway stay" that is still close enough to town for any hiking, kayaking, site seeing they desire.

Family reunion

We LOVED this place and would definitely stay again. My ONLY complaint would be that some of the beds were uncomfortable. Lots of blankets available were a quick fix. Great place!!!

The cabin is beautiful and our stay was so relaxing. The kids fished/swam/paddle boat/campfire. I would definitely rent again and Lisa was the best. Thank you for everything

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lakefront cottage! The beach out the back was nice and soft, which was great for the kids. The lake was really quiet and the house offered a lot of privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin retreat

Clean facility, cute rustic cabin style home with modern amenities. Away from it all but close enough for scenic drives to Munising, Marquette and beyond. Beds could be a bit more comfy but overall what we had expected in this rental.

Pulled up and was immediately impressed.

Great cabin with everything you need for your stay included. The lake was very peaceful, even saw a few deer in the mornings across the lake. The paddle boat is fun and a good work out. We have relatives not far and the kids rode bikes over there and had a few fires. Two bathrooms is a plus. We have already booked again for next year and am looking forward to another great week. Thank you Lisa for your hospitality.

Had a great time!!

We all hado a great time! The cabin was beautiful and clean. I loved how everything we needed was already provided. Loved the big back porch. The lake was great, our dogs had a blast swimming!! I would definitely recommend this cabin !

Beautiful cottage and great location

The owner Lisa is a winderful lady. You can call her or text her for any questions you have and she responds right away. Beautiful cottage and location, and its only half an hour away from munising. Everybody loved it and I highly recommend it. We will definitely come back !

Wonderful view, privacy, clean, beautiful home that welcomes pets!

Private, beautifully, clean home! There were plenty of fish to be caught and the dog had a ball! One down fall would be the bugs, but you will have that no matter where you stay, just bring your bug spray and candles to sit out and enjoy the nice porch and view!

Relaxing getaway in great location

We've vacationed in the UP probably 15 times with our children (now adults), but we've never stayed in the same vacation home more than once. We've never found a home that had everything we wanted: a beautiful, clean cabin with good fishing that's conveniently located for attractions and restaurants. That is, until we stayed at Lindberg's Landing....we will definitely return to this home! The guys caught small and large mouthed bass, northern pike, and black crappie, and the birdwatching around the cabin was worthwhile. The home was super clean and well stocked with linens, dish and cooking ware, laundry, etc. as well as being comfortable and nicely furnished. Being 30 minutes from Munising made grocery shopping, Pictured Rocks National Seashore, and restaurants convenient. The Falling Rock Cafe was a great little coffee shop and deli - a new find for us this year! Great food and coffee, ice cream, gift shop with locally made products, walls of books to read, local entertainment in the evening, and free wifi were all fully enjoyed by our family. All in all, it was one of our better vacations in northern Michigan with excellent customer service through Hiawatha Hideaway Vacation Homes. A big thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful home!

Amazing!

Lindberg's Landing is a great off the grid getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon without being attached to a computer or cellphone. Munising is a 20 min drive, and the scenery is absolutely stunning! The cabin is on the lake and very private. We look forward to visiting again!
