Ce est la maison idĂ©ale pour une escapade romantique, rĂ©union de famille sur plusieurs gĂ©nĂ©rations, ou vacances Ă  la plage avec les enfants. Chacune des trois chambres Ă  coucher principale a son propre appel spĂ©cial, mais tous ont une vue imprenable sur l'ocĂ©an, lit oreiller haut reine; et la dĂ©coration de bon goĂ»t. Deux salles de bains sont attenantes, mĂȘme si au moins une doit ĂȘtre partagĂ©e avec vos autres invitĂ©s. Il ya une salle ouverte avec deux lits doubles futon grands pour les enfants ou les adolescents de profiter de la haute dĂ©finition TV / VCR / DVD, des jeux et de la musique. En bas, les adultes peuvent profiter conversation tranquille; la musique Ă  partir de votre propre lecteur MP3, iPod ou CD; et cuire jusqu'Ă  une tempĂȘte dans la cuisine du chef entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e.

Écoutez les vagues dĂ©ferlantes, profiter de lever et coucher de soleil sur les ponts, et de garder un Ɠil sur les enfants plus ĂągĂ©s pendant qu'ils jouent sur la plage. What a wonderful getaway. The ocean beaches are amazing. The walk is easy. Although the home is a bit outdated. It was clean and comfortable. It was exactly what we needed for a nice getaway with our adult son and his family. A few highlights for us was a beautiful deck and furniture. we spent a lot of time out there just watching the ocean and soaking up the sun. The kids loved the TV room. We loved the dining room. We spent a lot of evenings, playing cards or coloring with the kids.

The property is dated and worn. The pictures make it look better than it is. It needs a good deep cleaning and some updates throughout. The blinds were bent and there were stains. I would not recommend it for families with young children who would be crawling etc. Carpets are worn and dirty. For young children the lay out would be hard with lots of steep steps in and out. It would be very hard for elderly too. The upper deck is cute. It is a very easy walk to the beach. We were out exploring 12-15 hours each day so we mainly just showered and slept there. Because of the condition, it was not a comfy feel to hang out in. Its average accomodations. The laundry procedure makes it inconvenient to leave early in the day for check out.

We had a lovely week stay here. The view was beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoy the sunshine. Easy walk to the beach for walks and agate hunting.Everything was well labeled inside the house. Loved the Bluetooth speakers to play music. We never turned on the TV.My friends each took a bedroom and I slept on the futon. I slept so well on it with the window open and listening to the waves crashing.The three restaurants in town were excellent.Would love to stay here again!

Making Memories

This comfortable home has the charm of not being a cookie-cutter modern beach rental.. close to beach and good views throughout. I liked that TV was on 2nd floor and away from dining and lounging areas. Parking can be a problem if you have more than one vehicle - only room to park 2 cars if they are both small. Seniors & people with mobility issues beware of long flight of stairs to the front door. Lovely vintage beach get-away overall...would return!

Our visit was a get together with dear friends and one surprise 3-year-old grandchild. The house could not have been more comfortable and was perfectly located for our numerous trips to the beach. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped and there are plenty of places to relax and visit. Kudos to the owners, manager, and housekeeper(s) who provide such a welcoming property.

Fantastic place

Loved the property, wonderful views, warm house. Stocked with everything you could need. Will be back in the future. As stated in the listing parking is minimal. We had two small suvs and could not have had a 3rd car on site so car pool as much as possible!

Nice relaxing stay

Overall really enjoyed this home. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The home is spacious but cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. House is a bit dated, but nice. This is a more secluded location think off the map (but WiFi was great in the house), if that’s the vibe you’re going for and just want to enjoy the views and nature, then this is for you.

Great Family Rental

The house is at a perfect location for enjoying this beach town, which is one of the best beaches in Oregon. You can hear the sound of the ocean 24/7 from the house. The house is comfortable for a larger group with the three bedrooms. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. The view is good, although becoming obscured by trees that need to be trimmed, which is the only thing about the listing that isn't accurate. Some of the features of the house are worn and need attention, but overall, it is a great rental option for families.

Zero communication from property manager regarding problem

Nice space in the home for a family event. Please note the property is in need of attention regarding maintenance. Carpets are heavily stained, microwave did not work, went to do laundry and noted moldy odor, inspected gasket and it was loaded with mold, cleaned with bleach but stains remain, dryer lint catcher was full ,cleaned that too. Top step of the deck is broken the wood is rotten so the screws do not hold. This nearly caused a tumble down the stairs. No body wash in main floor shower. The property manager was notified of all of this, she never responded. I have photos and screen shots of messages sent to Heather. Oceanside is a lovely get away, but this home needs some maintenance.

This house was very comfortable

This house had everything that was advertised. There was a view of the ocean and Ocean rocks. Easy walk down to the beach. We did sight seeing up and down the coast from Astoria to Newport. After each long day of traveling the house was a great place to rest and eat dinner. Thank you!!!

Great getaway spot, even in winter

We were staying here during an unusual cold spell and everything was covered in ice. The power was out for varying lengths of time throughout our stay but we were well supplied with flashlights and oil lamps, and the amazing woodstove that put out enough heat to keep us cozy and we could even warm up food in foil on top of it. The beautiful view of the ocean from the windows of every room is a huge plus when it's too icy to make the short walk to the beach and the tide is so high that there's no sand to walk on. And there was plenty of space for 6 adults, one kiddo, and 2 doggos to spread out while cooped up in side together for 48 hours, plus there were lots of games and puzzles to keep us occupied, so we're all still friends.

Good location with a good view. Wasn't super clean but it was comfortable. There was some quirks with the electrical switches. Overall a good place to stay in Oceanside.

Wonderful location needs upgrades

We loved Oceanside and being close to the beach. Oceanside is charming and the view to the left and right were fantastic (Middle view is blocked by higher building).The house was comfortable yet with some upgrades the experience would have been much better. We did appreciate the many channels on the tv. Not a five star cleaning. The carpets need cleaned or replaced as they are quite dirty. The cabinets and overall cleanliness was lacking. Couches and futons were dirty. we covered them with blankets and sheets. We were given wrong wifi connection information and tried to connect with property manager about the situation but we did not get a call or email in response.. we tried both avenues to connect to no avail. We finally figured we were given the wrong connection information as we discovered that in a book that was left on the table. Thankfully, we were able to figure it out on our own because no one ever tried to connect with us the four nights we were there about the situation. The lighting in the house was funky and took some time to figure out. Kitchen light is in bedroom for instance. I’m sorry to say we would not return to this rental for these stated reasons.

Our beach home away from home

Our second long stay here at almost 3 weeks. Our dog and visiting friends for part of the time all felt like locals. Great space, supplies, view, and short walk to our favorite beach. New deck tables and chairs and a new gas grill were great improvements this year. Just wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband and I are retirees; he's a former electrical engineer and investments consultant, and I was a community college administrator. We now live on the Mendocino Coast in California, about 200 miles north of San Francisco. We love coming to this house and are happy to share it with you. It seems to bring out all the wonderful love we have, along with energizing us to take long walks and hikes, but balanced by creating delightful delicacies in the kitchen.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I've loved this home for nearly 40 years, having personally restored every inch of it from an aging 1920's beach cabin to a comfortable and cozy ocean view home. When I lived here, I was one of the founders of the local community college. I lived in this house with my young son in the 1980's and '90s. Many of the neighborhood kids were babysat here while we parents socialized nearby at the community center. If you look closely, you can see where the kids left their mark on the play cubby walls upstairs (accessible only by a ladder) and here and there on the woodwork. To me, these are marks of Oceanside history and sweet reminders of times passed. Although we now live on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California, we love coming back to enjoy this special place. The house became a vacation rental in 2009. My husband and I visit 2 or 3 times a year to help keep things in sparkling condition. Though often we work nearly nonstop, it is a labor of love and we hope you will enjoy our efforts.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This is an especially well-stocked and well-appointed home, yet cozy, comfortable and inviting. Definitely not your typical vacation rental. You are close to the sounds and sights of the surf and it's just a one minute walk to the beach for most anyone. The beach at Oceanside is unlike many others. Its long expanse allows you to walk several miles in each direction. We manage a morning walk on the beach every day. In the afternoons, we walk to Netarts and get our favorite Tillamook ice cream, currently Mudslide. No matter how hard we are working, we always take breaks whenever the paragliders or eagles soar by. Every visit, we hike at Cape Lookout and Cape Meares State Parks, have a good dinner at Roseanna's, and drink in the view along with margaritas on the deck. Cooking fresh oysters on the grill is another favorite. Nearly every night is concluded in an attempt to get an even better sunset photo than we did the night before.
