Ce est la maison idéale pour une escapade romantique, réunion de famille sur plusieurs générations, ou vacances à la plage avec les enfants. L'atmosphère chaleureuse invite romance et ravive relations. À quelques pas de là, vous trouverez des kilomètres de plage à pied, un tunnel vous conduisant à une autre aventure de plage, un excellent petit café et l’un des meilleurs restaurants de la côte de l’Oregon.

Chacune des trois chambres à coucher principale a son propre appel spécial, mais tous ont une vue imprenable sur l'océan, lit oreiller haut reine; et la décoration de bon goût. Deux salles de bains sont attenantes, même si au moins une doit être partagée avec vos autres invités. Il ya une salle ouverte avec deux lits doubles futon grands pour les enfants ou les adolescents de profiter de la haute définition TV / VCR / DVD, des jeux et de la musique. En bas, les adultes peuvent profiter conversation tranquille; la musique à partir de votre propre lecteur MP3, iPod ou CD; et cuire jusqu'à une tempête dans la cuisine du chef entièrement équipée.

Écoutez les vagues déferlantes, profiter de lever et coucher de soleil sur les ponts, et de garder un œil sur les enfants plus âgés pendant qu'ils jouent sur la plage. (Il ya une vue dégagée sur la plage au nord et au sud, mais la vue est partiellement bloqué directement à l'ouest.) Fantastic place

Loved the property, wonderful views, warm house. Stocked with everything you could need. Will be back in the future. As stated in the listing parking is minimal. We had two small suvs and could not have had a 3rd car on site so car pool as much as possible!

We loved staying here. The home is a short few minutes walk from the beach access. Great views. Host is very communicative. We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Nice relaxing stay

Overall really enjoyed this home. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The home is spacious but cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. House is a bit dated, but nice. This is a more secluded location think off the map (but WiFi was great in the house), if that’s the vibe you’re going for and just want to enjoy the views and nature, then this is for you.

Great Family Rental

The house is at a perfect location for enjoying this beach town, which is one of the best beaches in Oregon. You can hear the sound of the ocean 24/7 from the house. The house is comfortable for a larger group with the three bedrooms. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. The view is good, although becoming obscured by trees that need to be trimmed, which is the only thing about the listing that isn't accurate. Some of the features of the house are worn and need attention, but overall, it is a great rental option for families.

Zero communication from property manager regarding problem

Nice space in the home for a family event. Please note the property is in need of attention regarding maintenance. Carpets are heavily stained, microwave did not work, went to do laundry and noted moldy odor, inspected gasket and it was loaded with mold, cleaned with bleach but stains remain, dryer lint catcher was full ,cleaned that too. Top step of the deck is broken the wood is rotten so the screws do not hold. This nearly caused a tumble down the stairs. No body wash in main floor shower. The property manager was notified of all of this, she never responded. I have photos and screen shots of messages sent to Heather. Oceanside is a lovely get away, but this home needs some maintenance.

This house was very comfortable

This house had everything that was advertised. There was a view of the ocean and Ocean rocks. Easy walk down to the beach. We did sight seeing up and down the coast from Astoria to Newport. After each long day of traveling the house was a great place to rest and eat dinner. Thank you!!!

Great getaway spot, even in winter

We were staying here during an unusual cold spell and everything was covered in ice. The power was out for varying lengths of time throughout our stay but we were well supplied with flashlights and oil lamps, and the amazing woodstove that put out enough heat to keep us cozy and we could even warm up food in foil on top of it. The beautiful view of the ocean from the windows of every room is a huge plus when it's too icy to make the short walk to the beach and the tide is so high that there's no sand to walk on. And there was plenty of space for 6 adults, one kiddo, and 2 doggos to spread out while cooped up in side together for 48 hours, plus there were lots of games and puzzles to keep us occupied, so we're all still friends.

Good location with a good view. Wasn't super clean but it was comfortable. There was some quirks with the electrical switches. Overall a good place to stay in Oceanside.

Wonderful location needs upgrades

We loved Oceanside and being close to the beach. Oceanside is charming and the view to the left and right were fantastic (Middle view is blocked by higher building).The house was comfortable yet with some upgrades the experience would have been much better. We did appreciate the many channels on the tv. Not a five star cleaning. The carpets need cleaned or replaced as they are quite dirty. The cabinets and overall cleanliness was lacking. Couches and futons were dirty. we covered them with blankets and sheets. We were given wrong wifi connection information and tried to connect with property manager about the situation but we did not get a call or email in response.. we tried both avenues to connect to no avail. We finally figured we were given the wrong connection information as we discovered that in a book that was left on the table. Thankfully, we were able to figure it out on our own because no one ever tried to connect with us the four nights we were there about the situation. The lighting in the house was funky and took some time to figure out. Kitchen light is in bedroom for instance. I’m sorry to say we would not return to this rental for these stated reasons.

Our beach home away from home

Our second long stay here at almost 3 weeks. Our dog and visiting friends for part of the time all felt like locals. Great space, supplies, view, and short walk to our favorite beach. New deck tables and chairs and a new gas grill were great improvements this year. Just wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great location, well-appointed home, fun time with family

The home was well laid out. So close to the beach! Nice porch. Kitchen and home were well stocked with supplies and utensils, best we've seen (More toilet paper for 8 people would be nice.) Information guide was very detailed. However, we had several safety/security concerns and a couple suggestions: The second step up to the front door is broken. Nearly fell several times when hauling vacation luggage/food up the stairs. kept warning our family to be careful of the bottom step. Also, the front door is not solid and has no dead bolt. sliding locks at top and bottom of door do not make the door any more substantial. There was no dvd player with the tv set (as noted in home description) kids didn't get to see super mario. Later found a dvd player in the downstairs bedroom with no TV! Finally, the info book should include something about how to engage the shower valve in the upstairs bathroom. Although we were warned in the info book about the electrical outlets/lights, they led us on a couple GFI hunts to get the lights working. Although we've listed a few concerns, the home was a great place, well-appointed and close to the beach. All in our party had a great time.

We loved staying here while we were in Oceanside. We stayed for 5 days with 4 kids, 2 adults and 2 grandparents. The house was great and had everything we needed. Can't wait to stay again.

Perfect beach house

Thank you for letting us stay at your beach house! Everything was perfect, exactly as described. Very well stocked with everything we needed, including shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the showers! We absolutely loved our stay. We were sad to leave! We will miss seeing those incredible views everyday.

This sweet house is a close walk to the beach. It was lovely to be able to open the windows and hear the ocean waves. We found lots of Sand Dollars and Agates- it was a great stay.

Wonderful location, excellent holiday

There were 5 adults and 2 golden retrievers in this pet friendly beach house. We all had a great time with miles of beach within a short walk from our unit. Parking for 2 trucks was a bit challenging but one was parked on the road below with no problem. The beach was very popular during the weekend but at times we had it to ourselves during the week. My daughter was our chef and she thought the kitchen not quite a “chefs kitchen” but adequate. Great appliances. Everyone commented that the beds were very comfortable. All in all a great family holiday.

Perfect get away in Oceanside

The view was wonderful and had an easy access to the beach and the home is on a quiet street . We also were so impressed with the adequate supply of soap for dishwasher, kitchen and laundry to be able to keep everything clean.

Life's a beach

Just finished a wonderful 3 weeks settling in to this wonderful house. There is something about it that makes it feel like home, from the beautifully stocked kitchen to the easy flow of the house, to the great views, the deck, the woodstove, the constant sound of the waves and intermittent sea lions barking. Our pup was supremely happy and couldn't wait for his beach runs, less than 5 minutes to paws in the sand. And a night of woodfire on the beach was frosting on the cake. The communication was also great and the property manager very responsive, fixing a toilet issue right away, same day. This is not a pristine, modernistic cold and perfect abode, but rather a warm, inviting, soothing place to come home to, where you don't sweat the small stuff. Not for the stuffy or overly nit-picky. Just a terrific find for those who love the Oceanside vibe. Our best Oceanside stay yet, and we've already made our reservations for next year! Can't wait.

Very nice

The house is in a great location literally steps from the beach. The town of Oceanside is so picturesque and lovely. The beaches are wonderful. The Views from the deck of the house are amazing. Everything was laid out well and stocked very well. It wasn’t the cleanest house ever, but it was clean enough for us. Loved having a charcoal grill to use for cooking!!!. Had such a wonderful time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

My husband and I are retirees; he's a former electrical engineer and investments consultant, and I was a community college administrator. We now live on the Mendocino Coast in California, about 200 miles north of San Francisco. We love coming to this house and are happy to share it with you. It seems to bring out all the wonderful love we have, along with energizing us to take long walks and hikes, but balanced by creating delightful delicacies in the kitchen.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I've loved this home for nearly 40 years, having personally restored every inch of it from an aging 1920's beach cabin to a comfortable and cozy ocean view home. When I lived here, I was one of the founders of the local community college. I lived in this house with my young son in the 1980's and '90s. Many of the neighborhood kids were babysat here while we parents socialized nearby at the community center. If you look closely, you can see where the kids left their mark on the play cubby walls upstairs (accessible only by a ladder) and here and there on the woodwork. To me, these are marks of Oceanside history and sweet reminders of times passed. Although we now live on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California, we love coming back to enjoy this special place. The house became a vacation rental in 2009. My husband and I visit 2 or 3 times a year to help keep things in sparkling condition. Though often we work nearly nonstop, it is a labor of love and we hope you will enjoy our efforts.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This is an especially well-stocked and well-appointed home, yet cozy, comfortable and inviting. Definitely not your typical vacation rental. You are close to the sounds and sights of the surf and it's just a one minute walk to the beach for most anyone. The beach at Oceanside is unlike many others. Its long expanse allows you to walk several miles in each direction. We manage a morning walk on the beach every day. In the afternoons, we walk to Netarts and get our favorite Tillamook ice cream, currently Mudslide. No matter how hard we are working, we always take breaks whenever the paragliders or eagles soar by. Every visit, we hike at Cape Lookout and Cape Meares State Parks, have a good dinner at Roseanna's, and drink in the view along with margaritas on the deck. Cooking fresh oysters on the grill is another favorite. Nearly every night is concluded in an attempt to get an even better sunset photo than we did the night before.
