This charming home is designed to make your getaway as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, whether you are planning a family vacation, a trip with friends, or simply a peaceful escape. With its unbeatable location, you’ll be just a five-minute stroll from the beach, where you can soak up the sun, enjoy the waves, or explore the local dining and entertainment options, including the fun-filled Palace Playland Amusement Park.

The home is spacious and thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to twelve guests. There are four cozy bedrooms, each featuring comfortable beds, air conditioning, and plenty of space to unpack and unwind.

The two full bathrooms are modern and equipped with everything from soap to hand towels and bath towels (We ask that guests bring their own beach towels).

The open and inviting living area is the perfect place to gather, whether enjoying a movie night on the smart TV, playing a board game, or just relaxing after a day at the beach.

Great Family Home

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of seating inside and out. Really appreciated having a washer and dryer. The owners were very responsive with our questions. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect place for multiple families and dog friendly

The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs and the bedrooms were ideal for our family. Having the outside yard with the fire pit, and laundry room with extra refrigerator was a huge bonus. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and Chris answered our call immediately and rendered the situation just as quickly. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is exactly as shown in pictures and more! There was plenty of space for our group of 11 to eat and relax. Lots of extras in the house also and cabinets marked which was helpful. There is a nice yard that had plenty of seating and a fire pit. The host was very responsive and quick to reply to any issues. We would definitely recommend!

Perfect Holiday vacation

Great house!

Three families stayed here for a week with 5 kids between the ages of 6-9. The house was very well stocked with supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap etc...). The attic bedroom was a great hang out place for the kids. It was a very easy walk to the pier and the beach. The extra fridge in the laundry room was a huge bonus for us. Chris was very communicative when we had questions. Would stay here again!

Easy access to everything in Old Orchard

My family of 11 stayed in the house for 7 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The house had room for all of us with spaces to be together or to get away for some alone time. It was very near the beach and also the town, We could walk to either within about 10 easy minutes. The owner was easily reachable when needed and the house was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property, plenty of room for our family group of 4 adults, 2 kids and our 2 pups. Check in was super easy. The house was immaculate and generously stocked so that all we needed to buy was our food. Appreciated the laundry room with second fridge. Nice yard and fire pit area, gas grill and plenty of seating. Easy walk through beach neighborhood to the ocean. Hosts very responsive and check out instructions uncomplicated. All together a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation! We highly recommend!

Gold Star Accommodations!

What a great beach property! The house was lovely with super comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the location - walking distance to town, the beach, and Ocean Park. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. Chris was super responsive and we worked something out to bring a second puppy with us. The yard is a fantastic bonus with an outdoor seating area, a fire pit, and space enough to throw a ball around. This has been our favorite beach house!

Home away from home.

4 Myrtle Ave is furnished nicely and felt like home. Our week in June was rainy but the house had games and books for us to occupy our time indoors. Kitchen has everything you need and plenty of storage space for food. Bedrooms are very nice and roomy and the A/C is great! It was about an 8 minute walk to the beach but there is on-street parking a little closer to Ocean Park if you have a bunch of stuff to carry.

Great property and location

This house was very nice and comfortable. Outside area is great. When we ate at the house we used the outdoor seating and we used the firepit several nights. The grill was in great shape and even had a spare propane tank. Well appointed kitchen. Everything was clean. The walk to town and the beach was short and enjoyable. We were glad to be in town but not on top of it, especially July 4 when there were fireworks - traffic was super crazy! All the kids liked that we could easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach area. The host was very responsive and provided great suggestions for our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Feels like home

We decided visit OOB and tag along with extended family on their vacation, this was somewhat of a last min decision. Our children are teens and appreciate their own rooms. After quite a bit of looking I realized how hard it is to find a place to stay with more than two bedrooms. We felt lucky to have found this absolutely beautiful home. The house was extremely clean and had more than enough room for the 6 of us. With the decorations and everything we needed it felt like we were staying with friends or family. Would definitely do it again. Bonus that it's close enough to the beach and pier to walk.

Family fun in OOB

We are Maine vacation veterans but this was our first visit to OOB and the first vacation with our 2 year old grand son. The house had plenty of bedrooms for our 4 adults and little one so we were able to host friends from NH one night. Kitchen had everything we needed for several cook at home dinners. Two fridges easily accommodated all food and beverages. Outdoor area included a table for dinner, cushioned chairs for lounging and a fire pit for 2 nights of storytelling. Walk to the beach and restaurants took 8-10 minute but our new ‘beach wagon’ made those trips a breeze. The amusements and rides in town provided much fun for our grandson with many pics and videos for our family album. We had a blast! Much recommended!!!

Awesome home in a great location

This property perfectly accommodated the 5 of us! The furnishings were comfortable, we appreciated the AC in each bedroom and downstairs, and the kitchen had all the things you'd need for coffee and cooking. I would recommend stopping at the rental before you grocery shop or you'll end up buying items that are already in the rental. We loved the location because we were able to walk to the beach and the Pier and it was a short drive to dining in OOB, Saco, and Biddeford. Chris was very communicative and helpful, especially for our first visit to Maine! FYI for those visiting from father away who were unaware like us - Maine banned single use plastic bags so you can use one of the reusable bags at the property or bring your own.

Family Meeting Beach Week

My husband and I rented this property for my parents, his parents, his sister and fiancee, and my sister, brother-in-law, and their 5 mo old son. We had our dog in the mix too. It was a smooth rental/check-in process. Communication was easy. The house was is great condition. We were able to check in early after running our race that morning. It is a nice quiet neighborhood and a quick 8-minute walk to the beach. The two fridges were handy for feeding 10 people. The mini splits in each room were so great for keeping our aging parents happy with their specific climate preferences. The house had everything we needed and made for a great first combined family vacation.

Vacation 2023

We enjoyed our stay, very spacious for our group of 12 people. Plenty of room inside for all of us and the yard was very nice to be able to be outside. The only thing that I would suggest needs improvement is the cleaning service that they have. And to stock the bathrooms with enough toilet paper. There were 2 rolls per bathroom for 12 ppl staying 7 days. we had to go out and buy that, which is fine, but those items should be stocked and you shouldn't have to worry about getting that. I was in contact with the owners the whole time through text messaging. I had no issues with that, very responsive. Other than the cleanliness of the home, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful Week at the Beach

Great place! Super clean, handy laundry room right off of the kitchen, big yard, just right. 10 minute walk to the beach or Pier, which was perfect, got some exercise in. Overall very pleased and would definitely go back.

Beautiful House in quiet neighborhood

Nicely updated 4 bedroom home with a big fenced yard. The house is very clean, a big open functional kithcen, comfy furniture in the living room and all the bedrooms are nice. New floors throughout. In back there is a big laundry room with a second fridge, perfect for coming back from the beach. Outside there is a grill, patio table and a firepit. Two cars can park off street and our guests had no trouble parking on the street in front of the house all week. An easy walk to the beach or downtown - it looked longer on the map that it feels in real life. I had guests rotating in and out all week and everyone had a great time!

Maine coast stay

The place was great! Location was great, in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach and amusements. I was also pleased to see the air purifiers in the bedrooms along with air conditioners. And also a huge plus was when I had a question or two for the owner, he was quick to reply!

Beautifully renovated property. Should consider renovating the front entrance, door is broken.

Beautiful home that easily fit us all. Loved having two refrigerators and the laundry room. The front entrance needs to be cleaned out & new door installed. We had a beautiful weather week and enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor area.

Clean house in a great location.

My family (adults and 2 small children) and I traveled to OOB and could not have been happier with our experience here. Communication with Chris was easy and timely and he answered all of my questions that came up. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen and yard essentials. It is in a great location, just a short drive or walk to the OOB pier. The bedrooms were large and accommodating and had AC's which was great for the heat wave we experienced that week. Check in and Check out were super easy. We would absolutely come back again! Great for families with kids.

Hi,

My name is Chris and I'm a Maine native born in Portland and grew up in Gorham, ME not too far from OOB. My wife, Sue, is from NH, but is fast becoming a big fan of Maine. We're pretty easy going and love sharing the great state of Maine with newcomers, especially those who have never been here before!

In our spare time we spend a lot of time with family and friends and love finding new adventures. Some of our favorite past times are enjoying the outdoors when it is warm, playing cribbage or taking our beloved Teddy to woods where he leaps like a gazelle with glee over brush and trees, or to the beach where he would give a greyhound a run for his money for hours!

I built houses with my dad when I was a kid. A handful of them were on Chebeague Island where we would stay in a tent often while we were putting up the frame out there. I learned a lot from him on how to do much of the work, so most of the place has been refurbished by myself, a layer of Sue's great eye for decorating, and some pros sprinkled in to try to make this place the best it possibly can offer.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We found this gem during the pandemic, 2021. The street is quiet, the neighbors are great, and there is so much to do in the area from the beach and pier, to the quick drive up to Portland, or down to Kennebunk and Wells. OOB is about as centrally located as you can get for the southern Maine coastline.
