Friendly cabin just 1/4 mile from neighborhood boat ramp to Nolin Lake (5 minute drive/10 minute walk down gravel road). Nestled in the woods this cabin is just a 15 minute drive to Blue Holler Off-Road Park and Nolin Lake State Park/Beach, also close to Dog Creek recreation area; Wax Marina and Detwilers County Store. A 30 minute scenic drive through Amish country to Mammoth Cave National Park.
*Large loft with half bath, double bed, daybed with trundle.
*The first floor bedroom has a new queen mattress and walk-in cedar closet.
*Partly finished walk out lower level has a futon, ping pong table, a kids 3-in-1 shot, pitch pass; giant Jenga and lots of games.
*Large deck with propane grill off the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for indoor or outdoor dining. There is a lower level patio with porch swing and a fire pit in the backyard.

Canbin was clean and well kept. The ping pong table provided a lot of fun after a day of hiking. The poker chips made for a fun time with the grandsons. A lot of options when watching TV to round out the day.

Quiet area with little to no traffic to worry about.Game room was great for my kids to have some fun.Didnt get to enjoy the patio as we were gone hiking most of the stay but set up looked relaxing.Would easily stay here again if we were going to be in the area in the future.

Great location for Mammoth Caves Visit

Easy drive to Mammoth Caves. House was clean and easy to find. The upstairs room with multiple beds was great for us and our little kids. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Wonderful views from back porches. Our kids loves the games i. the basement game room. The house has everything we needed and more and the host even offered the condiments a nd water in th fridge to us. If we lived anywhere near hwre we would definitely stay again!!

We absolute loved our stay here. The house was so cute and totally accommodating to 6 people. Its nicely tucked away off the beaten path. Neighbors and people we ran into were all really nice. Didnt mind all the amish neither.

Beautiful drive (WELL worth the time it takes to get to the property) and super peaceful. Cleanest property that we have stayed at, had everything we needed, comfortable, and cozy. Owner was a delight and was able to recommend some wonderful adventures in the area for our young kids. Near the lake if that's your thing as well!!

Such A Fun House

Was so impressed with the setup of the basement and how every little detail was setup to maximize fun. Kids absolutely loved it. Well stocked with ping pong paddles and balls. Kids made me get smore stuff when they saw the fire pit and was so thankful for the wood and chairs provided for us. Thanks for the fun weekend!

Cub Run Getaway

Angie was an amazing host with a great property. It was a countryside setting with a picturesque drive of farmland views. The surrounding were quiet and full of nature. House was fully stocked with all the basics and then some. All of our attractions were within a comfortable driving distance. Angie had several near by options which were great recommendations! We hope to be back again.

Great property

The property was great! The kids really enjoyed the game room that was set up in the basement. The house sits in a secluded area so you won't see to many people. The owners were VERY attentive and quick to answer any calls we made. The lake access was great and right down from the property. They have all the dishes you would need, so there was no need to bring anything. The property came with Disney+ and Netflix, which was a nice suprise.

Great rural respite

My friends and I loved staying at this cabin. It's super close to Nolin Lake. It easily slept 4 adults, with everyone having their own bed. The air mattress in the little room upstairs might be a bit too hot and uncomfortable during the Summer heat. We visited Mammoth Cave while staying here, and the driving time was typically 40 - 45 min. It's a shorter drive if you ever through the park's north entrance and take the 3 car ferry across the river.

Relaxing Fall Getaway

We had a great 3 day stay at this Cub Run house. It was cozy, cute, and very clean. The kids loved the ping pong table and availability of so many well kept games and activities. The house and kitchen were well equipped making meal time easy. Beds were comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed evening fires in the fire pit and the quiet area. The boys were excited to see deer in the backyard and explore! Quick trip to Mammoth Cave National Park and Nolin Lake State Park. The host provided information that made the stay easier and communicated well. Would recommend this property for someone looking for a quiet getaway.

Nice place to get away

Nice house with games on the basement to keep the kids busy on a rainy day. Enjoyed the fire pit one night (to much rain the others). The loft was a great place for my 3 kids to sleep and have their own bathroom. We brought boats to fish but unfortunately Nolin lake was up about 10 feet or more and everything was flooded. there was a boat ramp around the corner from the house and 2 other just a15 minute drive. Would have been great if it hadn't poured rain for 3 day straight.
