Great place to stay if you want to get away and relax. I was staying there for work nearby but it was so peaceful. And the host Dawn was amazing

This was our second stay at 'Our Place'. It was just as serene and tranquil as our last. There is lots of wildlife to watch here! A doe and its twin fawns visited us every day, as did several turkeys (and many other birds), squirrels, and other deer passing through. The lake was down, but walk-in access was just a few extra yards down the same gravel road. The host, Dwan, was always immediately accessible, and the home was spotless; with everything you need to have a great stay. We had a great time and definitely plan to return. Thank you again, Dwan, for sharing this special place!

Great stay working remotely by day and enjoying the lake before/after. Caught some fish despite the hot weather. Wifi was great for streaming, but we were glad to have our Starlink along when we both needed to be on Zoom and doing a lot of uploading to the network for our jobs. Dwan was very hospitable and quick to respond when we needed to consult on a routine home maintenance item.

We had a wonderful time and would come back again! House was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked! We saw fish, armadillos, possums, eagles, and tons of deer! We loved our time at "Our Place!" It was definitely a home away from home!

This property is remote which is great. Long drive to get to town. Water access would be great if lake levels were up. Still caught a 19" 4 lb bass from shore. Great fire pit and ammenities. Everything you'll need for a great trip.

Low lying vehicles will have to be very careful due to the gravel roads. If you plan on staying there 24/7, buy all your groceries in one trip

Wonderful stay!

Home is beautiful and secluded with great access to the lake. Gwan is a wonderful host. We couldn't have asked for a better week.

Great place to relax.

Our time at “OUR PLACE” was very relaxing and enjoyable. The host was great. The property was very clean and well stocked. We had access to the lake and enjoyed fishing. Great place to stay.

Dwan went WAY above and beyond! Our guests decided to arrive 2 days early. Dwan not only accepted the additional days, she had the accommodations ready to occupy in an hour! She dropped everything she was doing to welcome our family.

The perfect get away

This place was so awesome, we were so sad to leave. It was so clean and it had everything we needed plus some. Dwan really seemed to have a heart for her renters!!! Highly highly highly recommend!

Great getaway

The home, location and access to the lake were perfect. Only negative would be the rough gravel road to get to it. The host was great, easy to contact and replied fast. Would recommend if you want a spot away from it all but close to town at the same time.

Birthday weekend

Beautiful remote location. Lots of wildlife. Only issue was the lake was extremely low so no water views from house. Enjoyed the quiet peaceful retreat!

Arkansas retreat

The place was awesome. The secluded nature was the best. Fishing was not the greatest (maybe the time of the year or our own ability). Roads could use some improvements, but maybe that helped with the seclusion.

This property is one of the best VRBO properties we have ever been at for the purpose of relaxation and rest. You might need a car or truck that can handle rock/stone roads to get here, but any car or truck can probably do so. And it is well worth your effort and time to do so. The property is extremely clean and easy to find things. The owners are prompt if you need any help. And the grounds are amazing if you're looking for outdoor refreshment. We look forward to returning to this property again and again. You will, too.

Family vacation 2023

Our place is amazing! It's perfectly secluded and peaceful! The water is just a short walk and felt amazing! Dwan, the owner, was so helpful when I asked where the closest marina and grocery was. The home was clean and so nice! We swan all day and had fires every night. Loved the screened in porch! Such a great family vacation!

Great place

The property was clean and as advertised. The property manager was great to work with. Overall it was a great experience. The property was remote as explained in the description. It takes about 20 minutes from the main road to attractions, grocery stores, etc. We chose not to use the canoe or swim spot.

Secluded Oasis

When we pulled into the driveway on our first day there was a deer grazing in the front yard. Part of why I choose this house was it's secluded location, to relax and hoping to enjoy the wildlife. Which it delivered. It was very clean, the beds were soft, the pillowds were may personal favorite, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone.

Perfect Secluded Locatiob

We absolutely loved our stay. I have stayed in other VRBO homes so when I say that this house is stocked, it is STOCKED. We made fires every night and they left a welcome gift for us to make smores. There was plenty of room and we enjoyed the canoes. We even got to see a bald eagle while we were at the lake. It was my first visit to Arkansas and i will be back. My 9 year old son loves the woods and he felt at home being a little mountain man. Thank you for a great stay.
