This property and home was exactly as described. Great fishing, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, clean, and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
The property is terrific - large enough for everyone to have their own space, stocked with everything you could need, clean and comfortable. Our 6 year old especially enjoyed swimming with the very friendly fish and going on kayak rides around the pond to look for frogs and turtles
We had a great time at Tonyâs Place! The cabin was very well equipped and clean. We had a great time outside too. There was plenty of seating and things to do. Chad was quick to respond to any questions I had.
We all had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. Every thing we needed was there already. We all thank you very much for allowing us to stay as your guest at your home. Thank you again..
The cabin was conveniently located and the property was beautiful. House and amenities were as listed and my family had a wonderful weekend. We hope to return when the weather is nice to be able to take advantage of the outside areas.
This cabin was great for our weekend, very well supplied and comfortable. Being pet friendly was a huge plus. Wish the beds were larger, full size mattress for two adults is kind of snug and the video game and dart board were out of order so my grandson couldnât try to use them, not the biggest deal in the world.
The cabin was top notch. Love the feeling of â homesâ instead of hotels. Loved the Christmas feeling with the decor and tree. We added an ornament to the tree. Just overall a very fun and cozy girls weekend. Thank you Chad.
Very nice property. We didnât use the outdoor amenities because of November weather, but would be great for Fall and Spring. Log home was clean and nice for family gathering.
We were able to check in a little early. The cabin and property was wonderful. It was a nice time to relax and enjoy Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back.
We loved our stay at Tony's Place and can't wait to go back. We rented this home to attend a nearby family reunion, and our group consisted of my husband and I, our 30 year old daughter and her husband and our two teenage sons, along with our little dog. The flag at the end of the driveway made the property easy to spot. The house was perfect...lots of modern touches (that main floor shower?!), well stocked kitchen, coffee bar with pods and creamer provided and so private. We loved fishing catch and release at the pond out back and exploring the property.
The location was perfect out of the hustle and bustle but close to restaurants, shops and sightseeing
My husband enjoyed the lake. Kayaking and fishing (released)
The place was a cabin but with anything you would need.
Extremley well put together place , super comfy . Just a great place ...weather wasnt the best but thats not the owners fault ...look forward to being up there next year .
Our family had a blast. We had a bonfire, used the pedal boats, enjoyed the porches. The kitchen and bbq grill were perfect. Couldnât have asked for anything more. 10/10
The home is stunning and the property is breath-taking. We had a group of 12 stay for 4 nights and we already made plans to return next year. The home is spacious, the kitchen is equipped with great appliances, and the whole house was well stocked with everything we needed and wanted. We spent hours fishing and swimming. The yard games that were there provided some friendly competition and the multiple covered porches were a welcome place to relax. Chad was always available and he was the most accommodating and friendly host we have ever had at any of our VRBO stays.
We didn't have much planned for the long weekend, first spring break with preschool and kindergartener so just wanted space where they could run free.
We can't wait to go back in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outdoor activities on the water. Our kids got to use bunk beds for the first (and last) time for a while :)
We got to go explore Frankenmuth only 15 minutes away and experience an indoor waterpark for the first time ever.
We'll never forget the fact that our kids smiled the entire stay.
THANK YOU!!!
This place is just too cute, and has a lot of space and spaces. I think its perfect for a group where people might want their own spaces, but there's a good amount of shared space. The loft space is so cosy and adorable and everything was very clean. This is just a gentle critique but the kitchen implements are kind of terrible so if you are relying on something...be aware. For example, the knives were very dull and made cutting a challenge and the can opener didn't work well and it took a lot of work to open a can. But there's lots of dishes and towels and the appliances are very nice. If I could change one thing, I would replace the dining room table with something more substantial that has a couple leaves, so if you have more than four people you can sit down for dinner together. Very accessible to Frankenmuth, but quiet and private.
Such a beautiful cabin, not too far away from a lot of awesome locations such as Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Far enough off the road it feels like a true cabin experience in the middle of nowhere without having to be in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future.
This log home was built by my father (Tony) staring in the mid 90's. The logs were purchased from the Amish and each one was shaped by him and well I help a little. This home took many years to build and was a simple log cabin at that time, heated with a woodstove. Dad always wanted to make a campground on the property as he enjoyed cooking and hosting. After dads passing in 2019, I decide to finish what my father started by completely remodeling the log cabin and transforming it into a beautiful log home with a modern rustic feel and all modern amenities.
If you are traveling through the area antiquing or visiting Frankenmuth or just looking for a place to get away this, is it. Our lodge feel log home is on 17 private acres and sits 550 feet off the road. With 4 private bedrooms and a bunk loft with 2 full beds, the home comfortably sleeps 12. There is a bar area with a refrigerator, golden tee golf game, dart board and a TV to watch your favorite sports game. In the Dining area there is a wine bar with a wine fridge which can also be used a serving buffet for you family functions. On the large covered back porch there is an outdoor kitchen with sink, 2 burner stove, griddle, BBQ grill and pellet smoker. Also, on the back deck there is patio seating for 6 or more and a dining table that seats 6. Off the covered porch there is a patio with another dining table and fire pit. If you venture out to the back of the property there is pond for swimming, fishing or kayaking.
This home (Dads Place as I call it or Tony's Place to everyone else) is the perfect getaway for any type of stay or event (family reunion, open house or even a wedding).
