Lake cabin with stunning lake views, nature, wildlife and hot tub
Come stay at a private family cabin that is located 40 mins north of downtown. Located on Linwood Lake with clear water, sandy level lakeshore. 1/3 of the lake is undeveloped which means lots of wildlife and less boat traffic. Lots to do on and off the water- row boat included. HOT TUB With LED lights and waterfall detail 51 jets. Lights wrap underneath the deck at night time For ambiance. The 30x14 deck is great and lake views from almost every window. This is truly a peaceful and relaxing destination. You feel hours up north.Gas fireplace with TV above. 2-14 ft row boats and 16 ft canoe available for use during your stay.
What a tranquil setting! Very clean and comfortable. We were attending festivities for a graduation and it was very nice to have this wonderful place to come back to each evening. Thank you!
This was a perfect location for a girl weekend away. The space was large enough to accommodate us all with plenty of space to spread out to do different activities. The kitchen was very well stocked, making preparing group meals very easy. Would love to come back and stay here again in the future.
Fishing was nice from the dock. Also had row boats available but had to pull one onto the shore during a storm to keep it from floating away. Also the stairwells are very narrow and steep and one shower was very small and the other had a bathtub with very sloped sides that made turning around tricky as I thought I was going to fall. Other than the rain we had a pretty good time. Things were clean and the hot tub was nice to use. Owner was very responsive to messages.
The lake house is beautiful !!! We went for a trip to make memories as a family because one of my children is terminal and he loved every minute of it . my kids loved the row boat and being, able to,fish from, the dock and the hot tub was a huge bonus !!!!! Would totally stay here again !!!!.
We booked this property during a trip to Minnesota for a soccer tournament. Since the tournament was in Blaine Minnesota, this property was only a 25 minute drive north. The hotels that were recommended were about the same distance to the south of Blaine. Since the tournament was over 5 days, we did not want to be in a small hotel room with kids running around. This property was the perfect distance from the soccer fields as well as in a peaceful lake setting.
The property is located on a lake with lake access. Every morning affords a beautiful sunrise from this property.
The house we perfect for what we needed. Large master bedroom, with 2 guest bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom is a bit small, but again, its a lake house and that is to be expected. Although it wasn't an issue for my family, not having a 2nd floor bathroom could be a drawback. There is a bathroom with a shower on the lower level as well.
The property also had a hot tub, which was a nice feature to have.
I would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful lake house and still close to the Twin Cities
We had a fantastic time swimming, boating and hanging out. We were in town for a triathlon and needed a lake house close to the Twin Cities. Very cozy place with everything we needed for a great stay. Great owner/easy instructions. We will be back.
We had a great stay. The property was clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware. The fridge & freezer were enormous which was great, we had a group of 10 and cooked all of our meals so we put it to good use. The view of the lake was beautiful, the dock was great, nice big yard, and we used the hot tub every single evening. Will likely be looking to rent it again in the future.
This property is fabulous for a relaxing summer vacation on a peaceful lake. The house is clean and sunny, with a spacious kitchen, a comfy livingroom (2!) & plenty of sleeping space for a family or, in our case, a couple couples. It's got all the things you need - small appliances, dishes/cookware, linens - and unlike some rental proprties that feel staged, it's cozy and feels lived in, in a good way.
The lakefront is perfect for floating or launching a boat. I brought my kayak and had some great paddles cruising the perimeter of the lake. There are lots of fun seating areas to explore throughout the yard, and the hot tub is, of course, a bonus!
The neighborhood is quiet, residential. It's nice to hear the buzzing of families around you and be greeted by the local dogs. We got groceries & went to a couple restaurants in nearby Wyoming (the food at Cornerstone Pub is great!), which was a short, convenient drive.
All in all, an ideal spot for a lazy summer vacation with friends!
