Surnommée la «maison de poupée sur la pointe», cette maison méticuleusement entretenue et entièrement mise à jour est un cadre familial idéal à Lindstrom, à seulement 35 minutes au nord de la zone de métro Twin Cities. 150 pieds de rive sablonneuse orientée au sud pour que les enfants puissent jouer sur le lac South Centre (300 pieds de rive au total, 1625 acres combinés avec le lac North Center).

La maison du lac peut accueillir de 10 à 16 personnes avec 5 chambres privées dont une chambre avec lits superposés pour 6 enfants. Avec les commodités de la maison - une laveuse et une sécheuse à chargement frontal, les meilleurs matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme Serafina Pearl Gel Queen de 14 po dans 3 chambres, la literie, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec des ustensiles de cuisine et de la vaisselle, un micro-ondes et un salon SmartTV avec Blue Ray et accès Internet WiFi dans toute la maison.

Pêche abondante au bar et à la poêle au large du quai ou de votre bateau. Grande cour aménagée en parc privé avec élévation de niveau à l'eau. Deux foyers pour les feux de camp en soirée. Une vue exceptionnelle sous tous les angles et dans toutes les pièces. Une vraie retraite Up-North. Arbres imposants, soleil et couchers de soleil incroyables. De l'observation des oiseaux au jet-ski, et maintenant vous pouvez même louer un jet-pack! ......les possibilités ne sont limitées que par vos envies.

* La chambre principale a un lit queen Novaform avec commode et coin salon. Comprend une grande salle de bain privée surdimensionnée avec deux lavabos. Vues pittoresques sur le parc et la baie.

* La salle nautique accueille un lit queen Novaform et une vue sur le lac principal avec un bain-marie de type jack-and-jill 3/4 qui se poursuit jusqu'à la chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants.

* La chambre Kids Beach Bunk dispose de deux ensembles de lits superposés avec un lit gigogne en dessous pour un total de six lits jumeaux et une vue sur le lac principal.

* La chambre Picasso surdimensionnée a un lit queen Novaform, 1/2 salle de bain avec buanderie, lit bébé, canapé pleine grandeur et un lit pliant double avec vue sur le parc et la baie arrière.

* La chambre au niveau principal a une banquette-lit qui se transforme en deux lits jumeaux avec vue sur le lac. Un bain 3/4 est situé juste en bas du couloir.

* 2 kayaks avec pagaies et un pédalo sont situés sur la plage

Great place to stay!

It was a perfect location, very nice and extremely clean. Everything you would need is right there. Very spacious. The kids loved the beach and dock for fishing.

Beautiful home with lots of space

We had a large party of people coming to MN for a family event. We had an additional person join, which Mark quickly helped get on the list. The home is beautiful and had room for all of us! The lake can be seen from every room in the house which made every bedroom a top choice! Now to go back when we have more time to spend enjoying the lake!

BEAUTIFUL Location!

BEAUTIFUL location - private and within 20 minutes of Taylors Falls. Communication with the home owner was prompt and efficient. Home was very clean. WELL STOCKED KITCHEN!! 2 coffee makers, a variety of basic cooking necessities, plenty of plates/bowls/cups/utensils. Pretty standard check-out procedures (bed linens gathered, towels gathered, garbage out). A nice home in a perfect location!

Wonderful stay!

My family and I (8 adults, 2 teens) enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. The pedal boat and kayaks were great amenities and we all enjoyed exploring the lake. The house was very clean and the kitchen had all that we needed to prepare our meals. The location is less than an hour drive from the Twin Cities, yet the peaceful surroundings makes one feel as though one is far from the hustle and bustle of the cities....just what the family needed, indeed.

Great property with plenty of space to meet all out needs!

Our overall experience was amazing. We had a large group of people and this place provided the perfect amount of space. We had two large SUV's and the parking was generous. Very quite and nice neighborhood with grocery stores and local restaurants near by. We have stay here before and will be back!

Yearly Vacation for Extended Family

This was a great place for our children, grandchildren, and us to stay. The bunk bedroom was fun for all six of the cousins to sleep and giggle. I particularly liked the shaded deck in the late afternoon. It allowed the adults to converse and still keep an eye on the children playing in the water. Remember to bring bar soap and shampoo.

Great family time!

We had a wonderful week in this large home on the lake. The kids swam and fished, and we all had space to do all we wanted to do. The kitchen was well supplied , and the bedrooms were spacious. The beach was great, and being on the point allowed us some privacy. There was room for lawn games, and plenty of parking. We will be back!

Awesome home, great location

Our family of five stayed in the home over the 4th of July. Very nice yet comfortable home with plenty of usable space. Our kids spent hours on the beach and enjoyed using the kayaks that were available. Super convenient from Twin Cities, and a neat town in Lindström. Would definitely do it again.

Great vacation home

We had a great time at this property. It is very private and there is plenty of room. We went swimming, fishing, and kayaking. We also drove to the nearby state park which had a very cool “pothole park” formed by glaciers. There are places to rent kayaks there and go down the river. On the Wisconsin side of that state park there is a nice little beach. There are a lot of fun cafes and shops in that area too

The good: Overall a good spot for a few families to share - great small beach along lake & grassy knoll for lounging. The not so great: Felt overpriced for the offering. Fairly sparse inside and out - surprised there were no games whatsoever. Wish we had known that we needed to bring a ball to play with or a deck of cards. Also kind of absurd to rent out a lake house and not provide beach towels whatsoever. At the end, you’re expected to do fairly extensive checkout clean while still paying cleaning fee. Overall totally fine, just wouldn’t go there again for the price.

Good spot for kids!

We had 8 kids and 5 adults. There's plenty of sleeping options: full size beds, bunk beds, futon, trundle bed, moveable beds, etc. Kayaks and paddle boat were a hit. Firepit was nice. Plenty of outdoor seating for meals. Nice sandy beach, not much seaweed, so the kids swam and waded all day. Good for kids of all ages. Kitchen appliances were clean, functional, newer. Clean house. Lake also was good for tubing, fishing, etc. We would stay again if the opportunity arises!

Family vacation 2023

We needed a property for our entire family, fifteen total, and this met our expectations for the amount of space, the room arrangements and the supplies available. It was wonderful to have the four bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. The house was very clean. The bumpers on the short side of the dock were perfect for our boat and the option to tie off to the dock was a great benefit. Our grandkids and our entire family really enjoyed the beach area and spent a lot of time in the water. The deck/patio was spacious enough for all of us to be on and enjoy time together. We would definitely recommend this property.

Family weekend

We had a great weekend. Their were 16 of us, ages 66 - 5. Everyone had fun in the water from morning until night. We brought 2 kayaks, lots of floaties, using their kayaks and paddle boat, their was plenty of water activities. Fishing was very active. Off the dock and the shore, the fish kept our family fishermen very busy. We had to make a couple trips to the bait shop. Thankyou for sharing your home with us.

clean & spacious home with perfect beach front location

We arrived to a clean & fully stocked house. We knew the house would be stocked with plates/glassware, toilet paper, linens, etc. but were surprised with the good quality of everything that was supplied. The house had more than enough space for the 10 of us girls - having 3 full bathrooms & 1 half bath was great for all of us getting ready. We only wish the weather would have been nicer this past weekend (rained all day Saturday) so we could have enjoyed all of the lake toys kept on the property. Would love to come back for a full week next time we travel to the area. 10/10 will be recommending to family & friends!

Everything was great, we'd all go back again!

Our family of 9 had a very nice stay. Nice days were spent outside enjoying the deck and the lake. Kids loved the nice beach. Fishing from dock, shore, or kayak we caught and released Bass, Sunfish, Crappies, Perch, and a large Dogfish. We also enjoyed conveniently nearby attractions, and when rainy (or dark) the house was very comfortable for indoor games or just relaxing. Good WiFi and lots of elbow room! No problem parking 4 cars. The area was very quiet, it seemed like we had it to ourselves, except for the birds, turtles, muskrats, and frogs that passed through. Problems to report? Zero!

Great place for a family gathering!

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation with our extended family at this home. With 7 adults and 2 kids, there was plenty of space, and room for more. Our kids loved the bunk beds.:) The owners were very accommodating, the property was in great condition (beautiful place, beautiful location). The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils for making meals, we could all fit around the dining room table, and there are two grocery stores nearby for picking up essentials that we forgot. There was wireless internet available as well, which we appreciated. We had a lot of fun walking out on the lake and playing in the snow when it wasn't too cold. A very comfortable home and highly recommended! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us during the holidays!

Perfect for us

The location of the property was a wonderful surprise - you never know from photos. It was simply ideal: right on the water, yet on a pennisula with a hugh grassy area for yard games, etc. We had grandchildren with us and the water is just a couple feet deep for a good amount from the shore and they spent so much time in the water. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat provided. The house was set up perfectly for us - huge amount of living area, yet plenty of bedrooms/bathroom for everyone to have their space. Super clean. Great check in process. The town itself is charming and we enjoyed shopping, the bakery, bike riding, walking into town. We all voted this was our favorite vacation rental so far, and we have stayed in many. It was my husband and I, grown children and grandchildren. Highly recommend!

A great family vacation!!!

This was a great place for our family vacation with 6 adults and 5 children all less than six years old with the youngest 2 months. The sandy beach was a big hit with the kids and we made great use of the paddle boat and kayaks. The kids caught some little sunfish off the dock and we also caught a nice bass as well as a northern pike. I also brought along my 21' runabout boat and was able to pull it up on shore with no issues to leave it there overnight. The accommodations were great and the bunk room was a big hit with the grandkids. My only comment on bedrooms is that the fifth bedroom is on the main floor with a fosball table in the same room so it didn't really work well as an extra bedroom but the other four bedrooms provided all the space we needed for our families. The home is well taken care of and it has the best location on the lake. A fantastic stay!!!! Thanks Mark

The Doll House on the Point is enjoyed by two families. Two brothers and their families decided they wanted a place for all the kids, cousins, and friends to grow up fishing, swimming, tubing, waterskiing, wake surfing and to spend more time as a family.
