Beautiful setting off the beaten path just above Marysville MT. Property offers a new log frame queen bed, rustic interior decor. Studio layout with a bathroom and shower. Very large deck with new propane grill with excellent view of the mountains! In addition to queen bed the property has a small couch/ futon that turns into small bed and a small roll away is available if needed. This property is perfect for a couple traveling through the area or a relaxing vacation in the mountains. Located about 22 miles northwest of Helena MT, Marysville is a historic mining town from the late 1800âs. Mining has ended here but plenty of golden opportunities are still to be found. This retreat is located at the base of the Great Divide Ski Area that offers excellent skiing on Mount Belmont. Marysville area is known for lots of public access on forest service and block management lands. The Continental divide trail is just a mile away! Mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing both downhill and cross country. Lots of wildlife and many trails to explore on skis, bikes, quads, or snowmobile. Marysville also offers the historic Marysville steak house bar and restaurant to enjoy a great steak dinner after a long day in the outdoors. Very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing setting, and now we have WiFi! Great Divide Ski Area lift tickets available as a âSki and Stayâ special! Please message me for details!!
We had a great time at Brians VRBO. The location was \close enough to walk in to Marysville but far enough away for peaceful evenings!!! The Cemetary is located a quick 5 minute walk uphill from the property. The Hummingbirds were crazy!!! Counted about 18 at one time!!
Perfect mountain getaway! Peaceful, secluded, great views. The cabin is very nice, and the deck offers shade and sun no matter the time of day. Lots of hummingbird activity at the feeder hanging from the deck. The kitchen had electric skillets and griddle which were nice for breakfast and dinner. We ate at the Marysville House where our dog was welcomed on the patio. Brian was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!
Scenery was amazing, hostoric mining location was interesting, property was beautiful - inside and out. We don't live far away, so it was perfect for one-night stay, child-free night out retreat for my wife and I. Supper at the Marysville House was delicious! Thank you so much, Brian!
Private and comfortable, with big skies and quiet roads and fields all around. A nice walk into the almost ghost town of Marysville, where youâll find a fabulous meal at the Marysville House, Wear your jeans.
My husband and I spent a relaxing couple of days at the cabin after dropping my bonus daughter at college. We checked out Helena and the Gates of the Mountains (beautiful!), enjoyed hikes and had a delicious steak dinner on the patio at the Marysville House. The view from the cabin is gorgeous, and our favorite evening was topped off with a beer on the deck with 180 degree+ views. Brian was helpful and responsive. We hope to return again next year!
This is the perfect place to get away! No noise, no traffic, just open mountain air. Brian has everything in the cabin you could ever need and was attentive to us. The cabin was extremely clean and cozy, we sat on the deck and enjoyed watching deer and hummingbirds. Marysville House had delicious food and friendly people. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a mountain retreat!
Awesome place to stay for a weekend/week getaway trip. Great steak at the Marysville house and a good glassing/ hiking spot at the top of the mountain. Brian was a great host and had great suggestions!
Great Little place. Perfect place for a couples get away. The scenery is incredible. The Cabin was extremely clean and welcoming. The host was very communicative. 100% would recommend.
Brianâs place in the hill above Marysville is wonderful. If you like solitude, quiet, and beautiful scenery you canât beat this cozy cabin. Brian and the people we met in Marysville were all so nice and the town was very interesting. I would recommend this place to anyone that would like to get away and enjoy. We both wish we couldâve stayed longer! Lori and Larry Bergum Conover WI
We enjoyed this very quiet peaceful place. A great place to relax, rest, and read. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the local steakhouse, I would highly recommend this place.
We absolutely loved Brianâs cabin and the splendid, quiet location. Everything was lovely. He came to greet us when we werenât sure about the location.
We would love to visit again.
Beautiful mountainside cabin in an (almost) ghost town
I didnât have the pleasure of meeting Brian, as we were in an out while it was still light outside and didnât get back until late in the evening after exploring around Helena. But my communications with him through VRBO were excellent and the cabin was even better than described. Itâs a beautiful place, super comfortable, and I only wish we had spent more than a single night there. Hopefully will get back up that way one day.
Very clean, easy to get to (follow Directions that take you through Marysville) and awesome deck views! Recommend eating at the local steak house - steaks were surprisingly good.
Our experience was exactly why we use VRBO: responsive owner who provided pristine accommodations and helpful suggestions in a location we likely wouldn't have found otherwise. Brian was a great host, the cabin offers great mountain views and nearby hiking opportunities, and our yellow lab left the cabin relaxed and rejuvenated (along with her owners).
