This spacious ranch house has just been (as of Fall 2021) renovated with new appliances, flooring, paint, lighting etc. Which makes it a perfect for a family looking for a home away from home. Whether you are on vacation, a business trip, stationed nearby, or just need some time away, this could be the perfect fit for you.

There is a well-stocked kitchen that opens up into a spacious living room with beautiful natural light from the large front windows. The master bedroom has it own attached master bath with walk in shower. The second bedroom is perfect for the younger members of the family or a second couple! The main bathroom has a combo bath and shower.
Large open kitchen/living room area with sofa and loveseat for relaxing or can be used as an extra bed for that tag along person who is comfortable for that.
The breezeway/Fireplace room is large as well. With a desk at one end for your computer and business tasks. Chairs and Settee for visiting and games.

You are welcome to relax on the back patio and will have access to the large yard surrounding the house as well as garage and driveway parking. There is a patio in the back with furniture to relax as well as a gas grill for your meals. The house comes equipped with WiFi, heat/AC, washer and dryer.

It is conveniently located along Rt. 22 in Jonestown, PA, just off of I-81 and I-78 and within 1 hour driving distance of Hershey, Harrisburg, Lebanon, Lancaster, and Fort Indiantown Gap.

Nearby activities within 30 minutes include: Hershey Park, Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Antique Car Museum, Hershey Outlets, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, PA Farm Show Complex, the Appalachian Trail, Swatara Park and Creek (lovingly referred to by locals as the "Swatty"), coffee shops including Lebanon County's voted #1, Swatara Coffee Co., ice cream shops, golf courses, hiking and biking trails, gyms, and more!
If you are here for sports activities we are conveniently located just within 20 minuntes of Northern Lebanon High School, Jonestown Little League baseball fields, and In The Net indoor sports complex.

Excellent Home

The house was wonderful. It’s exactly what we were looking for and it was exactly as advertised. Lisa and Jonathan are also very easy to get ahold of from start to finish. The house was so clean and inviting and had a warm feel. The set up outside with the patio and patio furniture as well as the landscaping, was also lovely. Also, the loaf of bread and butter and the personalized note when we walked in, were a very nice touch. The location was also very centrally located for the destinations that we had planned on our Pennsylvania family trip. We also loved that this house is close to a grocery store, pizza restaurant, gas stations, car wash and ice cream spot. These are all important to our family while traveling. Overall, it was a really great home!

Spring break 2025

Everything was perfect!! The house was adorably decorated and felt super cozy. Cute little touches from the bread and eggs to the hand written note. Very very clean. Perfect for families as it had the kids room and toys under the cabinet. The owner responded quickly about any questions I had about the area. The area was safe and no one bothered us. 10/10 experience for our spring break trip to visit Hershey. Thank you again for hosting us! We were sad to leave, but would love to come back again next time!

Feel of Home

This place is like being in your own home. Big living areas where you dont feel cramped by space. Has a welcome home feeling even though it is not your own home. Plenty to see and do in the area, but our main reason for selecting this area is family lives close by place

Wonderful Stay!

We loved this house! We stayed for a weekend while in the area for a show at Hershey Theater. The location was great - it was an easy drive into Hershey. The house was cute and cozy. We stayed in December and appreciated the small Christmas touches throughout. It was also so clean! You can tell the owners care about their property. Thank you again for a great stay!

Clean and comfortable home

This home was a fantastic place for our family. We spent the day traveling around visiting family and were able to come back, decompress and relax in this home. It is beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities, and then some, that you could need. We highly recommend this for adults and kids. Since the garage was available and very tidy we were able to set up a pickleball net and play.

Lovely home with modern updates. Kitchen is well and thoughtfully supplied. Love the touch of fresh eggs butter and bread. I have enjoyed my stay as much as the last time and will be back!

Sweetest little stay

This little property was literally the sweetest little stay. We drove through the night from Knoxville TN and the owners allowed us to check in early. Once we arrived the home was spotless and welcoming with the most precious little gifts. This home was beyond accommodating with plenty space, beds, linens, toys and games for the kids, and the big yard with a swing. We loved the quiet setting and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Perfect stay

Lovely home, well appointed and multiple thoughtful touches . A delicious loaf of zucchini bread with butter and fresh eggs greeted me on arrival! Having entrance to garage made loading my things in the rain was great! Only one step up from the breezeway/family room made getting my walker and luggage in worked well for me. Location was close to my family, grocery and several restaurants. I will be back for Christmas. Thank you Jonathan and Lisa for a terrific stay.

Weekend Stay

We absolutely loved the house! It was an easy drive to the Hershey area, the kids had a fantastic time playing with all the toys provided and getting to experience the beauty of Pennsylvania! We will be back!

The property was perfectly clean and I enjoyed staying there. It was easy to locate and I had no issues with it. Everything there was comfortable and I had no issues with anything so I didn’t need to reach out to the property owners at all.

GREAT HOST & SETTING-HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

House was well organized and immaculate. Security lights on outside gave excellent lighting. Zucchini bread with butter awaited us on arrival. The double car garage was large and just as clean. The house is in a country setting, but within a few minutes you can access almost any needed supplies and restaurant or healthcare if required. At the front outside, there is road noise, but house is well built and no noise makes its way inside.

We are Jonathan and Lisa Lehman along with our seven children. A fun loving family who desires to serve God by serving others. As a family we enjoy church activities, camping, hiking, and working together.
We look forward to meeting each of you and hope that we can develop a friendship for life.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property has recently (as of Fall 2021) been completely remodeled. All new flooring, kitchen, paint and furniture. Our family purchased this property a few years ago and last year made it a family project to remodel and get set up with some type of short term house rental. Where we can have a more personal touch with those travelling thru the area.
While it does not have lots of bedrooms for lots of guests it is great for families with children. We are ok as well if guest are willing to sleep on sofas or even the floor.
This location is a great place for military personnel to stay while training at Fort Indiantown Gap, Visiting the National Cemetery, or maybe its traveling in for a game at Northern Lebanon High School or Lebanon Valley College. Maybe here on business and would like to bring the family along.
Perfect for those who are just looking for a Home away from home just to relax. This is the place for you! Within 30 minutes of Hershey and Harrisburg attractions as well as 30 minutes from Cabela's. Lancaster with all its shopping and attractions is only an hour away as well!
