When each day heats up, everyone can choose between walking to the beach for a day of tanning and swimming, taking advantage of the shared volleyball court for some friendly competition, or bringing the little ones to the shared playground nearby. Plus, when everyone returns to home base each evening, the outdoor shower will come in handy for rinsing off sandy toes. Finish off each day on a tasty note by whipping up a tasty meal in the full kitchen or some movie snacks to enjoy as everyone gathers in the living room! The property is a duplex house and not the entire house. The property is still quite and a great find for an oceanfront rental.

great location, and great property

We stayed 3 nights, and it was quite ample space for our party of 5. Didn't even need to use the loft as sleeping space, which could have helped with an expanded party size. Watched the sun rise over the ocean 3 times from the balcony. House is 50 yards away from pass-through to the beach. Location is equidistant between 2 piers, and is therefore very picturesque.Enter on ground floor; 3 bedrooms (1 with balcony, but no view)/2 baths on second floor; kitchen and living area on third floor; and, loft is a 3.5th floor, per se. Cabinets and fixtures are not very updated; but, whatever. For the price we paid for an oceanfront property, it was an excellent value. Would stay here again!

Winter Visit

The first thing we noticed is the house was very clean. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked adequate. The location is the defining positive of this property. We enjoyed ourselves and would go back.

Great Location and Nice Accomodations

I stayed for forty days and forty nights. It is a great take-off point to get out every day and visit nature sites. I took photographs every day and got over 6500 photos. The condo was nice and clean. The shower water pressure was perfect, as was the temp of the hot water. Wi-Fi service was great. Nags Head is a gift from GOD!!

A week at Kitty Hawk

Amazing property and location! We had a wonderful time and loved the house. The showers could definitely use some added pressure adjustments! And we recommend adding a spatula and whisker to your amazing kitchen! Although we both had to work each day, having the deck and the sunrises in the morning was a huge bonus and great way to start and end each day! Thank you.

Beautiful view

Pros: Can’t beat the view! Easy check in, amenities were as listed, and wifi was great for working. My husband and I enjoyed the loft area, felt like kids in a treehouse. Cons: my main issue is the listing says house, but it is a condo which was not expected. The upstairs shower faucet was detaching from the wall. Overall decent property and stay, would visit again.

Great ocean view!

This house was in a great location and very comfortable. Furnishings were clean and modern. As a general contractor, I did notice some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Several windows were fogged up due to broken seals and need to be replaced. The water temperature in the showers needs to be increased.

Needs stuff

The dryer was broken so that was the biggest inconvenience. They didn’t leave enough dishwasher detergent for more than two loads and we were there for four days. There was also no kitchen wash class. No coffee filters. No mixing bowls. I was told on the first day that we would get the dryer taken care of and no one ever attended even after multiple requests.lovely location though! I would also recommend having a screen on the master bedroom deck door. Also, several of the windows wouldn’t open.

Excellent view condo, with some drawbacks

The view and near location to beach was great. The kitchen was rather poorly stocked. No baking sheet for oven. No mixing bowls or electric egg-beater. No small serving bowls or bowl for salads mixing. No safety mats in bathrooms,which led to a bad fall int he shower, for my Aunt. The condo is nicely decorated,especially the living room area and the master bedroom. The condo is during the off season quite a drive (15-20 minutes ) to any restaurants or grocery stores. The mangers did respond friendly ,not so quickly to my messages. But did not do anything.-such as bring some safety mats to us.

The rental was clean. Communication with Vacasa should be done on phone calls, not through VRBO to assure responses in a reasonable time. Totally dissatisfied with the customer service.

Online description of duplex was very accurate. I was disappointed that there was no screen on the sliding doors, especially in the bedroom...had no way of hearing the surf. Also the floors when we checked in were sandy and we couldn't find a broom. A couple of waterbugs greeted me early morning when i turned on the kitchen lights. VERY unpleasant, but i know those are hard to control. Otherwise loved the location and the price was right.

Decent Home,a bit beat up

Had a great stay, property met our needs given the off season and reduced rates. Since it was the off season, and thus some unrented weeks, I would have thought there would be time for a handyman to execute minor repairs: light fixture missing cover, soap dish missing from wall, water stain on ceiling, 2x tub fixtures wobbling from wall. If this had been prime season and I was paying full freight, I would have had much higher expectations.
