What a wonderful place to stay when visiting Yellowstone!
The cabin was a wonderful home for us when we were visiting Yellowstone. So nice to have a kitchen, laundry, and a warm bright atmosphere to enjoy our vacation!
West Yellowstone cabin.
Overall good cabin. There were however a few wrinkles. We booked it for six people but the bedding was ready for only four. The hand soap holder in the bathroom was filled with water. The upper bunk bed is difficult to get into. The ceiling is low and you have to climb up from the end rather than a side. One of the bunk bed ladder steps is loose and rolls under your feet, making it it risky to climb down
Close to Yellowstone at a reasonable price
This well-located cabin is just outside Yellowstone Park. Very convenient for visiting the park. The cabin is well maintained, clean, cozy. The cabin is accurately described in the ad, but it is important to understand the layout well, because access to the bathroom from the main bedroom and sitting room is via the other bedroom (with two bunk beds); and there are no doors on the bedrooms. As a family of 4 this worked just fine for us, even with grown children -- but it could definitely cramp your style if you weren't anticipating it.
It would have been nice if the patio furniture shown in the picture as positioned outside the front door had been available, or better still there had been some seating in the back yard. However, we were so busy enjoying Yellowstone and walking around the town, that we might not have used it anyway.
Easy access to the parkl
Property was as expected, although there could be better identifiers of the cabin location (signage on the road). We were given a cabin name that we would be staying in, however, upon arrival there are no names given to the cabins, but numbers. It would have been more helpful to have a cabin # rather than name.
Also - the cabin really needs a smoke detector - there is none! And the dryer should be vented to the outside. The bathroom and kitchen gets very humid when the dryer is running.
Otherwise, its not a Marriott but it'll due if you're just looking for a crashpad while visiting Yellowstone.
