DO NOT BOOK. This listing is an occupied home.

When we were ready to check in to the house for our reservation, an hour past the 4PM check in time, I noticed we had not received check in details to access the house. Minutes after requesting check in details, our reservation was cancelled. This left my family very far away from home with no where to stay. We spoke to the family that lives in this home and they were unaware their home was listed on VRBO. Myself, another member of my family and the occupant of the home each tried to reach the point of contact for this listing and each call went straight to voicemail. I booked this house June 5th and the host cancelled on our arrival date July 19th while we were minutes away from arriving at the home. The reason listed was "Natural Disaster or property damage" which neither appeared to be true as a family lives there. The host had over a month to cancel our reservation but instead left us stranded in an unfamiliar town with limited accommodations for overnight travelers. Our money was refunded, but no one was able to reach the host for answers. Hoping for the occupying family's' sake this is rectified as they were very kind and attempted to help us.

Reservation cancelled after arrival!

This property is in an ideal location to exorfience Cherokee National Holiday. Confirmation was automatic and appeared to be professionally managed looked like an ideal fit from what I could see. Upon arrival, realized the entry instructions wasn't sent. There wss no response from host using Vbro, texts were not responded to and voicemail was full. After a 7 hour travel, I had to frantically sesrch for somewhere else to stay despite booking early and recieving confirmation. This wss really a burden as I travelled with two young children and elders in my family. We ended uo having to book a hotel 30 min away becsuse at that point all was full for thr holiday weekend. There was a truck outside and someone's shoes on the portch upon arrival. What's worse was Vibro, "needed proof" despite getting host's cancellation of our reservation a few hours after check-in. I contacted first online thrn called and spoke to 3 different agents. Refund was eventially promised from Vibro to arrive in three days from hosts cancellation. Unnecessary stress, timespent and additional money finding lodging last minute for my family vacation. It all worked out but beware.

Communication

Upon booking, received message from the host saying they are changing our property as the one we booked extended their stay. New property we went to was clean to the average eye, but as being a General Contractor who specializes in remodels, it was clear this property just went under a very poorly or even cheap update. Work was not completed in some areas, interior paint was poorly done, floors unlevel, closet shelves not fully installed, uneven cabinets in kitchen, vent hood non filtered. We did not make any of these a complaint to the host, but what we did have complaints on was the lack of working wifi, not a single tv in the house would turn on, and shower had no water. Host responded to our messages for a couple days but never resolved the tv or wifi issues. finally stopped responding to us. I sent my crew to a hotel and contacted VRBO to refund our remaining 3 nights that we wont be staying there due to the issues and have had zero luck hearing back from the host or VRBO. best to stick with the other booking sites that can not be named in here as VRBO is making me edit this review for naming them

Last Minute change

Was notified 24 hours before rental that they had to move me to a new location..I had elderly people coming over for Thanksgiving dinner and 2 flights of stairs to get into rental was a serious problem.. 2 guests will have to see doctor and one guest was unable to climb stairs … I had no choice in change, but was told I would get a 10% discount … I had paid full price for other location that was more accessible for elderly guests…. I have used VRBO many times but never had this type of problem and no choice in rental… also haven’t received 10% discount reimbursement yet.

Tahlequah tranquility

The ranch house was perfect for our gathering of 5 adults to visit an OSU student ceremony. Close enough to walk to down town (in cooler weather) and easy to get wherever needed .

Wonderful experience

The accomodations were spectacular...They thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable...Comfotable beds...wide open spacing. Super clean...A definite must when we return...Ample parking..Convenient to everything!!

Management was nice, neighborhood beautiful and quite...only downside was there wasn't seating in the patio area outside of that it was a cool stay even tho we wasn't there much 😉

Cute house

Angela was great to work with. She answered all my questions in a very timely manner. House is freshly remodeled. Close to downtown. Only 5 miles from All American float.. you won’t be disappointed
