The condo is appointed with the following amenities listed below.
-King size bed with luxury memory foam mattress
-Queen sized sofa pull-out bed with memory gel mattress (**suitable for smaller children)
-Kitchenette with full stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer with ice maker; perfect for pizza, snacks, and other light meals!

My daughter and I had an awesome stay at “A Simple Retreat”! The rooms were exceptionally clean and cozy. It was walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. We loved having the pool after hiking and shopping.

Relaxing Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay! The condo was very clean & just as it was represented in the VRBO listing! William & Renee were very responsive to any question we had! Hopefully we will be able to stay again!

Smoky Mountain Condo

Very cute, renovated condo. Very short drive to national park. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, attractions of downtown Gatlinburg. Recommend!

Gatlinburg Stay

Great location, only about a 10min walk to the main downtown strip. We were in town to visit the National Park and this was a great "home base" for us. Very comfy bed as well! We thought we had to print a parking pass which was a bit tricky in downtown Gatlinburg - but there were two passes when we arrived waiting for us in the unit.

Convenient & Cozy

We had such a great stay, this condo was so comfortable and cozy, just as listed. You can’t beat the convenience to Gatlinburg, we will definitely book again for a quick getaway!

While the condo is a little older it is in good shape. Clean. In town but walk to Parkway is longer than expected. Definitely would stay again.

Comfortable stay

Very relaxing cozy condo. Slept great! The walk down to the strip was ok but returning is uphill and flight of steps back up to condo was challenging and we are fit! Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Loved it!

We really enjoyed the privacy of the condo & the ability to walk to the main street in Gatlinburg. Our communication with the owners was easy & pleasant. Complex has a nice pool area with luggage carts & elevator access which was definitely a plus. We really enjoyed our week in Tennessee!!

Just far enough off the busy downtown

We enjoyed being near downtown -- but loved being able to end the day feeling far enough away from the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg. The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was refreshing and felt semi-private. The host was very responsive and helpful during our stay.

Book with confidence.

This is a nice condo in a quiet building. The bed is very comfortable. The shower was great. The freezer has an ice maker. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main drag. There are stairs at the back of the building that lead to a road that starts you on the journey to fun. The hosts are very attentive. Stay here without worry.

Perfect getaway for 2

We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. The unit was very clean, quiet and in a convenient location. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked great. Having the kitchenette sure saved us some money—my husband cooked breakfast all 3 mornings (good quality cookware and kitchen basics; he also made pizza one night). I appreciated having a hair dryer, storage in the bathroom to hold our personal toiletries, plenty of hot water w/good pressure and plenty of towels. So glad there was an elevator!! It’s a perfect place for 2 adults wanting a short getaway.

Quiet and convenient

We stayed in Gatlinburg a few days to do some hiking. This was a great place and was exactly as portrayed on Vrbo. It was an easy drive to do some great trails and easy walking distance to the main strip in Gatlinburg. We liked the Ramsey Cascade trail. It was 9 miles and we were tired by the time we got back. For places in Gatlinburg, we really liked the Gatlinburg brewery. It was not as crazy as the other places.

Cozy and clean

Clean, cozy small condo in beautiful Gatlinburg. Great for 2 people like us. Bed is very comfortable. We are all our meals out but it’s set up for small meals. It is a climb from the strip to the condo so we often had to get parking near the strip. The walk down to strip is pretty easy though. Very quiet place too.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay in simple retreat. Bed was super comfortable. The best I've slept on vacation in a while. Everything is tastefully decorated and kept clean. Only thing I can complain about is the cleanliness of the bathroom. Their was hair all over the floor and in the shower . Whoever is responsible for cleaning the bathrooms is not doing their job.

Close to town

Tiny for two. . Fairly close to town but five flights (65 stairs) of stairs up and down just to leave the apartment and at least 1/4 mile to walk to the strip. My husband and I are pretty fit and it was challenging. The place was clean and nicely decorated. William and Renee was very nice and responded quickly.

This is an “it depends” property. If you want a cute property in a convenient location, this may be a five star for you. It is just as the photos show, it is cute and though it could use a deeper clean (dusty photos etc), it was not dirty (no hair/food/linens clean). Two things troubled me. One, the balcony looks into the walkways of the hall. That slider is also the only natural light source for the bedroom. So, I wasn’t comfortable with the curtains open and didn’t want to sit that “exposed” on the balcony. If I had caught that, I wouldn’t have booked. It is on me. If that isn’t an issue for you, it is a really cute condo that has been updated and is decorated nicely. The location is super convenient. The second issue could also be a plus or minus - the brush on the side of the staircase leading to town was very overgrown. There was a mama and I think two cubs in it. That may be a plus or minus to you. One of the cubs even tried to enter the automatic doors of the new hotel below on opening night. Another cub was in the front lot. Again, this may be a plus and why you want to be there (or not). We have stayed in this building previously and really like the location. You really can’t beat the location for walking convenience.

Would stay again!

The location was great! Close to the Parkway, but far enough away that there was no noise. Loved not having to pay for parking as we walked to most places. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable and shower/water pressure good! While the space is slightly cramped, we would definitely stay here again.
