Lake Houses at Camp Milson - Flathead Lake 7 BD Retreat w Private Lake Access

Come gather round at Camp Milson, where it's luxury glamping at its best! Located in the Gold Coast area of Flathead Lake, Milson offers the modern, luxurious amenities of a boutique hotel in a beautiful nature setting. Located just 5 minutes south of town and grocery stores, this is the best location on the lake. There are 2 mid-century homes (Glass House and Cherry Cabin) and a Trapper Cabin available for lodging. Both homes feature high-vaulted ceilings, indoor/outdoor access, fire pits and private outdoor seating. Split A/C units in every room and ceiling fans in both homes. The Glass House kitchen is stocked with All-Clad pots/pans and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal! Mattresses have been furnished by the W Hotel and Parachute Home with luxury linens from Brooklinen. Enjoy your own dock, shallow area for wading and crystal clear waters of Flathead Lake. Waterfront BBQ Pavilion with Wolf BBQ, Yeti cooler, and bar sink.

Max capacity is 14 people total (including kids) due to our lodging permit. Please note sleeping capacity includes bunk room for 4 kids.

The Glass House has 3 BD/2 BA, with beds to sleep 8. The Cherry Cabin is 2 BD/1BA and has beds to sleep 4 .There is an additional Trapper Cabin (1 split king bed or 2 twin XL beds) which is a fully screened porch room indoor/outdoor feel! It is located between the Glass House and Cherry Cabin with a private entrance. (Please note Trapper Cabin does not have electricity and requires use of the Glass House bathroom). The Glass House has a 800 sf outdoor deck and the Cherry Tree Cabin has a 400 sf outdoor deck.

There is also a 20' Tipi on property that is an authentic Crow Indian Tipi that was set up by Crow Indians in a traditional Tipi Ceremony in 2020. Teepee is empty and only staged for photos. The Tipi is nestled between four trees and faces East, as tradition, for the sunrise. Each of the 15 poles has meaning - Obedience, Respect, Humility, Happiness, Love, Faith, Kinship, Cleanliness, Thankfulness, Share, Strength, Good Child Rearing, Hope, Ultimate Protection, Control Flaps from Wind.

Camp Milson is an 8 acre retreat with amenities that include private access to Flathead Lake (300 linear feet) and a boat dock. You can rent kayaks and stand up paddleboards from a local outfitter who will deliver to the Camp! You can go swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, paddle boarding or fly fishing. There is an enclosed area of the lake that serves as a "natural swimming pool" with clean, clear lake water! There is also a timber-framed outdoor pavilion with a Wolf BBQ and bonfire area. Hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. Take a morning walk and see the deer and wild turkey roam freely. Or, walk down to the boat dock for 180 degree views of Flathead Lake. The Eagle Bend Golf Club and Montana Athletic Club are also just a 5 minute drive away.

Please note this is a residential area with quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. Please be considerate of our friendly neighbors and do not play outdoor music or have large gatherings outside during these hours.

If the Captain is in town, we also offer daytime or sunset cruises on the Stanley C, our vintage wood Stancraft boat. Cruises are $199 for a 30 min tour and fit 7 people.

At the camp, there is Starlink internet access at the Glass House and Cherry Cabin. Internet access can be spotty at the camp so this is your chance to unplug! There are 65" smart TVs in both homes. There is also a washer/dryer in both homes.

**Pease note this large 8-acre property has multiple structures and has a lot of room to spread out. There is a structure on property that is saved for the owners which may or may not be occupied during your stay**

In the summer, enjoy all the watersports imaginable at Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Glacier National Park is also close by with the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! Make sure you take time to experience downtown Bigfork boasting shops, galleries, restaurants and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. There are activities for everyone from hiking the Swan River Nature Trail, exploring the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, fishing the many lakes & rivers or golfing at any of the exceptional courses, including Eagle Bend Golf Course.
