LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Beary Cobbler is a beautiful new cabin that is situated in a secluded cul de sac in Alpine Mountain Village Resort, and has sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests. This "beary" sweet cabin comes with endless amenities and is furnished with your comfort in mind. Less than 5 min. from the parkway and 10 min. from Dollywood, this cabin couldn't be more centrally located for you to enjoy all of the entertainment that the Smokies has to offer! The stunning 3 bedroom/3 bathroom cabin still has the "like new" smell! It boosts plenty of space for gathering and just as much space for personal time. Enjoy the open concept living and dining room space, which is also opened to the kitchen with granite and top of the line, stainless steel appliances. Each bedroom suite offers brand new king mattresses with comfortable bedding. There are full en suite bathrooms attached to all 3 king suites. The game room offers plenty of options for your group, as well. Whether someone wants to challenge their buddy to an air hockey game, or a game of pool, or sit by the multi game arcade system, it’s there for you! If you’re just looking to relax, we have a brand new sleeper sofa and a large flat screen TV too.
Upstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped to cook even the largest of meals to enjoy at the dining room table with your family and friends. Right outside the dining room, is a gas grill, cleaned after every stay, and ready to use during any season. Whether the big game is on, or there’s a special event happening within your group, the grill is available!

We loved our stay for our 1st Annual Family Trip. Close to all the activities but far enough that it is quiet for your rest time. We had everything we needed at the house except for more outdoor seating. My family likes to spend a lot of time outside, as the grandma, I need some thing out front while my grandchildren played. The outside of the house definitely needed some cleaning.We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

It was ok..

Cabin was passable, but not clean. The driveway is difficult and very small. 2 cars barely fit. One of the pools on the property was closed with no notification, we had to call and find out what was happening. The owner did get back with us and let us know, so that was appreciated. Ping pong paddles were very worn out and only one ball was there to use that was dented so we couldn’t use the table. Hot tub wasn’t very clean and it’s outdated. Stairs to upper level were very dirty and hadn’t been mopped in quite a while. Carpet in basement was torn due to the small fridge on the floor which we took a picture of when we arrived. Beds were ok, linens were clean. Tubs and showers were ok, but could use a deep clean. Basement bathroom toilet is wobbly. There was an ant problem in the kitchen, so if you had food sitting out for any amount of time, ants would take over it. We enjoyed our family time, was only there 2 days.. but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Yearly family trip

Every year we take a whole family (9 members) vacation.. this year was great! The cabin accommodated the whole family! We were able to cook our meals and spend time together playing games and laughing! The host were very nice and gave great detailed instructions for check in /out!

Perfect house for families

House is tucked in the middle of the neighborhood, it was a peaceful stay very close to all the attractions in the area. Driveway was a little tricky at first but got the hang of it quickly. Would highly recommend this house for families or couples, it was setup perfect for both.

Property was great but only drawback was the driveway which was impossible to navigate with my non-SUV vehicle. Had to park at the end of the street instead.

Weekend with Granddaughters

Location was perfect for visiting Dollywood with our granddaughters. Having 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom worked out perfect. The game room was a big hit.

Cozy cabin close to the fun

Beary Cobbler was the perfect cabin for our family over Spring Break. It was clean and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and having an ice maker in the fridge was an added bonus. Game room and hot tub were a lot of fun! The driveway takes a little getting used, but is ok after a few times. I would recommend a little more lighting on the front of the house and at the entrance of the driveway. Overall, a great experience! We would definitely book again!

Our Family Getaway..

This property was everything we needed it to be! From the top floor to the bottom floor it was amazing. Great space for the entire family & our kids really enjoyed themselves in the game room. They played themselves to sleep not to mention there was a pull out bed in the game room so it really was a convenience for the extra sleep space we needed. Not to mention it was very clean,well stocked & the beds was so comfortable! We will be rebooking this reservation really soon bc everyone was very pleased! This unit really fit my family & we did not want to leave lol. Book here!

The cabin was beautiful and clean, we had a great stay. The only thing I would do is put better lighting down the steps and into the cabin, even with the front porch you could barely see. Thanks for the stay!

Cabin was nice, driveway is not the greatest, only good for 2 vehicles on an incline. My son said downstairs bed could use a new mattress, but overall great stay!

Beary Cobbler

Location was pretty good for the areas we wanted to visit. It was very clean and all of the lights were marked to what they controlled. The driveway was the worst part. We have three trucks and only two fit and that was a tight squeeze. The running boards scraped the driveway coming in and out so that truck stayed in the cul-de-sac at the top of the hill.

Smokey Mountain Trip

We had a wonderful time in the smokey mountains. The Berry Cobbler was great...clean an close to everything. The game room was a hit with the grandkids!!

Just the Facts

This is not a negative or bad review but it will contain facts. First me and my family realizes that wear and use occures and some things show wear more than others. So I'll first list the things that concerned us. But we took photos of everything "damaged" then after everyone exited I did a video walkthrough to have time stamped video evidence we left it in good condition. In several places the carpet was snagged. The host responded to this concern and said the cleaners did it with the vacuuming. 2nd the cookware was copper nonstick and the coating was scraped. I also reported this to the host and they were unaware. The driveway is a challenge, it is very tight. We scrapped my car pulling in on the bottom, as have many others by the marks. The listing says there is a "private fenced" pool. No "private" pool for this rental. The word private by definition means for sole use only. There is a community pool that is fenced, but it is not "private". The pool is also a bit of a walk. So those are the realities. The host was not dishonest in the listing, just their point of view in the pool. So was is it a good stay? Yes. The cottage was clean, very nice, and cozy. My family really enjoyed it. They used the hottub and it was welcoming. Overall it is a very nice retreat. The family enjoyed the game room a lot and it had some nice views sitting outside. We enjoyed our first family vacation here in decades and created some awesome new memories. Thank you host.
