I guess I didnât notice the statement that the thermostat was locked out at 73 degrees. The house was way too hot for us. Weâre from Louisiana so we are used to the heat but 73 degrees in this house felt like 85. None of us slept comfortably due to the temperature of the bedrooms. If it werenât for the pool our stay would have been unbearable. We were there for our sons World Series baseball tournament. We were out in the heat all day and then came home to the heat at night. Never again will I rent a property that does not give me full control of the thermostat. Also they parked their utility trailer in the driveway for our stay which shouldnât have been an a problem but we ended up having to take two vehicles to fit all our equipment. The driveway was very tight for one suv much less two vehicles. There was the ability to park on the street but the code for the front door didnât work so you could not get in the house from the front door. The location was good for us and the house was newly remodeled but thatâs pretty much the only positive thing I have to say about our stay. Lesson learned for me. I could have stayed at a luxury hotel and had full control on the thermostat for the price.
