Tiny Rustic Studio in Palm Beach Island by Breakers Hotel
Palm Beach Island tiny private studio located in The Palm Beach Hotel Condominium. Hotel style 200 sq ft room with private shower and bathroom. Room is very small and better suited for one versus 2 people - has small walk in closet, bed, fridge, microwave but no seating area and is one of the smallest size units. Location is ideal. Building is known as the Motel 8 of Palm Beach island as it is an older building with regular normal people living in the best location. The Breakers Hotel is walking distance a few blocks away. Building has pool, 24 hour receptionist, gorgeous lobby, day spa, laundry room, a five star restaurant and a French cafe onsite. Walk to the public beach, Publix supermarket 2 min walk, restaurants, shopping all walking distance. PLEASE NOTE RATES are LOWER than anywhere else on Palm Beach Island as the building is old, needs renovations and our unit is old and out of date as well. Great for people looking for budget economical stay in great spot but Not a Fit for someone with luxury expectations as it is very basic older unit.
It was a nice room. I would stay there again. Especially nice, it is across the street from a full service supermarket and a variety of interesting places to eat within a couple of blocks.
Excellent value and convenient to beach and key areas of Palm Beach. It is more of a hotel room, but refrigerator and microwave were perfect for snacks.
The whole experience was lovely. Candi was very responsive. The room was exactly as "advertised" and very comfortable.
The location was perfect and everything was simple and a great way to stay in Palm Beach.
Room review
At first I was kind of skeptical about the location. I thought I was getting a unbelievable deal at the Breaker hotel only to find out later that it wasnât at the breaker but fairly close. I was going to dispute the booking but I decided to give it a try. To my surprise it was a very nice room (for my particular need). I was only there for a day and a half so I didnât need much.
The host
Candi was very accommodating. She answered all my questions and was reachable via email/ text. She had an assistant that wasnât reachable at all but most of my questions were answered by her or her doorman.
Location:
Upscale location near the beach. Light pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Approximately 2 1/2 blocks from the room.
The room
Smaller than expected, but clean and very intimate. There was no kitchen but there was a small refrigerator with attached freezer and a microwave.
She also had a armoire type cabinet that consisted of books, wine glasses, coffee cup/maker, a bowl, sunscreen and other little useful Knickknacks. I thought it was a nice touch to the room. There wasnât a lot of lighting (two lamps and the natural light from the window).
Thereâs a small TV and a closet full of towels and extra lines. The AC gets really cold which was a plus (for my guest at least). I would recommend providing a larger trash can for trash. The showe had a updated shower head and the water got really hot, which is a plus for me.
On my last dayâŠ.I did notice a few ants in the bathroom but Iâm assuming thatâs normal since thereâs so many trees near the window and theyâre probably searching for water. There was spray under the sink which was very helpful.
The only real issue I experienced was the parking.
Parking
There is NONE. We ended up parking at the nearest parking garage about 1.2 miles away ($10 a night) and caught a share ride back to the room.
