--THE PROPERTY--

Tipsy Turtle is a tastefully decorated, stilted home with an open concept living room/kitchen/dining space. "Old-Florida" style vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, comfortable coastal furniture, and walls of living room windows providing panoramic views of the tops of palm trees while still providing ample privacy.

INDOOR LIVING:

BEDROOMS (3) / BATHROOMS (3): *Master w/ En suite Bathroom: second floor, king sized bed, tall windows, private deck with William Sonoma teak furniture *En suite Bathroom: features sink set into an expansive stone countertop, custom-tiled shower w/ two shower heads. *Family Master w/ Attached Bathroom: queen sized bed, set of bunks, clothes closet & dresser, private deck providing access to the crow's nest deck as well. *Attached Bathroom: sink console, tub/shower combo. *Main Level Bedroom: quiet corner of the house, just behind the kitchen, queen sized bed, set of bunks, clothes closet, tall windows, next to the main level bathroom. *Main bathroom: pedestal sink, plenty of shelf space for your toiletries, custom tiled shower.

KITCHEN: Tipsy Turtle's kitchen is sure to please all levels of culinary expertise! Well stocked, open concept, stainless steel appliances, gas range, stone countertops, Calphalon knife set, variety of pots and pans, ample dishware and glassware.

Please Note: North Captiva does not have a grocery store; you'll want to come prepared but no worries, the owners of Tipsy Turtle and their management team are not new to this rodeo. The digital guidebook you'll receive upon booking will provide plenty of information to walk you step by step through the process. Take this opportunity to meal plan some favorites or try some new, tantalizing tropical recipes - key lime pie anyone? Dining-in or carrying-out from the four island restaurants or inviting in a local chef to prepare you a meal to remember are always memorable options!

OUTDOOR LIVING:

UPPER LEVEL DECKS: Tipsy Turtle boasts FOUR private upper decks just a step out of the living room, two of the bedrooms, and there's the crow's nest deck which has spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico, Pine Island Sound, neighboring Caya Costa, and the rooftops of the colorful homes of North Captiva itself. Pick a spot with comfortable outdoor seating for morning coffee or an evening cocktail and soak in the tropical surroundings!
GROUND LEVEL LIVING SPACE: Tucked under the stilted (20 feet) house, you and your friends/family will enjoy a beautifully private outdoor living space. Comfortable outdoor furniture, a large dining table for family meals, cornhole (beanbag toss game), and 6 person hot tub.
POOL AREA: Just steps away from this resort-style outdoor area is the turquoise water, private, heated pool. Surrounding the pool is a variety of lounge seating and tropical vegetation.
GRILL AREA: Weber propane grill, prep area, and beverage fridge.

--NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND (NCI) ADVENTURE--

Tipsy Turtle is the perfect location for quick adventures around North Captiva Island. The island is just 4 miles long and 1/2 mile wide at its widest so, you're never far from a new spot to explore. Your reservation at Tipsy Turtle includes the use of a 6-person golf cart and a 4-person golf cart.

THE NATURE PRESERVE: On the south end of the residential part of the island, is the entrance to a 600 acre nature preserve. Here you'll discover two hiking/jogging/biking loops that wind you through the white sand paths toward the southern point of the island.
BEACHES: A quick 1 minute golf cart ride (or easily walkable) towards the grass airstrip will bring you to a T in the road which will directly point you to two of the best beach entrances on the island. One (east) provides access to the waters of the Pine Island Sound - tends to be calm and is a favorite spot for dolphins to frolic! The other (west) provides an access point to the Gulf of Mexico - a great spot to walk a long stretch of powdery soft sand and soak in a photo-worthy sunset.
ISLAND ACTIVITIES: Boats and Fun on NCI rents a large variety of toys! Boat rentals for exploring neighboring islands, kayak rentals for paddling among the dolphins, a paddle board to gain a completely different vantage point, or jet ski rentals to really get your zoom on. They also rent fishing equipment for fishing from the beach which is an island favorite. Also, the office at North Captiva Island Club (NCIC) also has a variety of rentals.
CHARTER EXCURSIONS: There's no shortage of captains who offer excursions! Inshore/shark/tarpon/deep sea fishing anyone? Our digital guidebook will point you in the right direction.

*Our listing minimizes tacked on fees. Our "cleaning fee" provides not only the cleaning at the end of your stay but also the property management concierge service which includes guest communication and hands-on check-in and check-out services.
*We accept instant booking but please reach out prior to booking if you have any questions; Molly, the host is happy to help.
*After booking, you will receive a digital guidebook. This handy tool works like an App on your phone and will walk you through all the steps required for planning a vacation on NCI such as...scheduling a taxi from the airport, which method you'll choose for acquiring your groceries, selecting a ferry option, and details on connecting with our property management team.
*Please sign the rental contract within 48 hours of booking. Your reservation is not confirmed until this has been properly signed and returned.
