Third floor apartment with tower overlooking the city and Swede Hollow Park. Enjoy a brewery or sidewalk cafe within walking distance or take an electric scooter along the Mississippi riverway. Large wooded park across from house with bicycle and walking trails and historic structures along the way.
Our stay was great! The host greeted us and was very nice! The rental was clean and had everything we needed for a couple day stay. The beds were comfortable. The only challenging thing is the shower but we made it work. We will definitely stay again sometime!
The house was cozy, clean, and warm. A perfect little place for a family vacation. The snowstorm created picturesque views from both sitting areas in the apartment too.
We really enjoyed our stay! And can confirm that this place is just comfortable and wonderful during the heat of the summer as it was during our stay during the coldest part of winter. Itâs clean and comfortable and convenient, and we hope to stay there again.
This is such a great and fun space! Well set up with everything you need and beautifully finished. Well taken care of and in a great location. Would love to stay again someone!
We did a short weekend in St. Paul and this cute apartment was perfect for us. They had all the necessities and amenities one could want. The apartment is beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms, massive bathroom with plenty of thick towels, the kitchen had all the essentials and was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. The livingroom was very cozy and we loved the little puzzle/reading nook. The location in St. Paul was great and this place was easy to get to. It is a quiet street and it is just a few blocks from the Swede Hollow Cafe, which we went to twice it was so wonderful, and the Mississippi Market. Check in and check out was super simple, the host communicated promptly with clear instructions. And we appreciated the parking space. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to St. Paul. I recommend!!
The area was great and the goats were so nice. Very helpful and responsive. The space was extra clean and cozy. The clawfoot tub was divine! But if youâre a shower person it wasnât as awesome. However, the kitchen was stocked for cooking in the room. A coffee pod coffeemaker, good size fridge. Highly recommend and would stay again. It is up 3 flights of stairs. Plan accordingly.
Very neat space provided a great escape for a fun theatre weekend! Loved the tub and Victorian feel. Very cozy and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
I have lived in this property and neighborhood for many years. Three years ago I married Gerry and with his handyman abilities and my love of historical architecture we set about remodeling our third floor attic space. We decided to open an Airbnb after 6 months of work because we like entertaining. I worked for 30 years as a Registered Nurse at Regions Hospital and he is a retired Electrician.
This has always been a hidden jewel of an area that wasn't well known. Recently there have been books published, documentaries, and bus tours highlighting the rich history of the area. This is one of the many Hamm's family homes in the area. Parts of the expansive brewery remain and can be viewed from the house. There is also an existing craft brewery in operation with entertainment.
We are located in the heart of downtown St. Paul about 1 mile from the Mississippi River. Directly across the street is Swede Hollow Park which is very picturesque with hiking and biking trails and historical features. Our area is quiet and located on a dead end street so no traffic to contend with. We are close to major routes and less than a mile from historic Indian Mounds Park with beautiful views of the city and river. Restaurants and venues nearby or you can jump on a Lyme scooter and ride to your destination.
