Ocean-view 1-Bedroom Suite at Seascape Beach Resort

*** Please read the entire description before booking, so that you understand the amenities differences between my room and renting a room directly from Seascape Beach Resort. ***

A remodeled 1-bedroom suite on the 2nd floor (of 3) in the main building. You will enjoy ocean views from the patio and be steps away from the central pool and hot tub, restaurant, and bar!

Seascape Beach Resort is in a great location overlooking Monterey Bay with 3 pools and hot tubs.

This is a privately-rented suite, so guests are not allowed use of golf cart rides (there is a moderate grade back up from the beach to the room), beach bonfire pits, room-number billing, or room-service (dine-in and take-out is still available at Sanderlings and several other restaurants across the street). In-room spa services and use of the sports club are available at additional costs. If you have any other questions about the private rentals, please ask before booking. The 3 pools and 3 hot tubs are available to all guests.

I do not provide linen service, but there are plenty of extra towels and sheets if needed.

Due to typically mild daytime temperatures and cool nighttime temperatures near the coast, this room (and most rooms at Seascape) have no air conditioning.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in the rooms due to resort rules.

Weekend getaway

Property is as advertised, very clean and the ocean view was great. Seascape is located in a very quiet neighborhood and the resort location with beach access was awesome! Our host Jim was great in communicating with us and even offered a later checkout. We will definitely come back.

Excellent stay at fantastic property!

Great, clean, well-appointed unit with central location, gorgeous view of ocean, short walk to pool and restaurant as well as nearby shopping and food area. Excellent communication with host. 5-10 min walk down to beach and about 20 minute drive to Boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental!

Rio Del Mar Retreat

Had a wonderful four days at this well equipped and comfortable condo. The views of the resort, trees and ocean from the living room and outside patio were beautiful and relaxing after being out all day. The bedding and towels were first class and the closet full of beach amenities was amazing.Took some great walks along the cliffs and to the beach. Would definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jim's place. He was transparent about the amenities, and I recommend bringing a wagon if you have a little one that you're taking to the beach. It was a short walk, the kitchen was well stocked and great for snacks. The view was outstanding and the bed was super comfortable! We loved our little vacation.

This place was as advertised and better! Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Close to the main pool and hot tub. Onsite restaurant and bar. Everything was well thought out! From the super soft robes and towels to the hot chocolate, coffee and tea. All vey very nice. We would definitely come back. Absolutely loved it!

Every part of this process was smooth. The host was amazing along with the unit. Everything that you need is there including things to take to the beach. The view is beautiful and close to all things. It is very cute and cozy! We will definitely be back!!

Everything we were wanting! Beautiful view, close to everything, comfortable & very clean! We will be coming back to this property again! We didn’t have any issues & Jim was communicative with me, letting me know should I need anything don’t hesitate contacting him. The Bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets and bedding were high quality, unit had an over abundance of towels and everything you’d need for a stay at the beach! Don’t hesitate in reserving this unit you won’t be disappointed!!

Reviews are accurate

After doing a pretty thorough search on the property, comparing to others at Seascape, we decided on this unit. What you see is what you get and we were comfortable. The king size bed is particularly comfortable. Jim answered our questions and was very attentive at all times. If I had one thing to suggest it would be to place an area rug in the living room for added ambience and for walking around; it’s just nice to have a rug under your feet. With that said, I understand it’s probably a lot easier to keep clean without an area rug on the floor. The resort itself was not very crowded at all, including the restaurant so if you’re concerned about crowds, that’s not a problem. Overall, as stated in the headline, all the reviews are pretty accurate and what you see is what you get from all the photos. The microwave/convection oven worked perfectly as well. I brought something to heat up on the first night, the chef knives in the block are also extremely sharp so that was an added bonus!

Perfect get away

Can’t say enough about this location and perfect views from this condo . Could hear the ocean perfectly from open slider . Right next to trail that leads down to ocean . Comfortable king size bed . Son slept on sleeper sofa which was comfortable which usually is not the case with most sleeper sofas . Great communication and easy check in . Hope this unit is available next year when we will be back in area !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property and the awesome ocean view from the balcony was the best! The unit was very clean and we appreciated the varieties of coffee, snacks, and toiletry products. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. The unit is well-stocked with beach accessories and extra towels. We will definitely stay in this property on our return visit.

Beachfront beauty!

The condo was immaculate, spacious, and perfectly located above a salt water pool overlooking the Pacific. The resort is great- a decent restaurant and bar, gorgeous grounds with trails ++. Literally a few hundred yards away is a small retail center with a few handy shops and restaurants. Additionally the location provides easy access to Santa Cruz and all points south. Importantly the host / owner was responsive, pleasant and professional. For the price it was an excellent value!

Better than pictures!

The property is even better in person! Enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking a walk down to the beach! Small market across the street provides all the necessary conveniences.
