Adorable 3 bedroom, 2 full bath Adirondack cottage with AMAZING views of 4th lake! Enjoy shallow sandy swimming, including boat dock, large flat lawn at lake front! Brand-new to rental market. High speed wireless internet, and tv. Newly renovated bathrooms. Fresh bath and bed linens included, a comfortable and clean place to stay for the week! A quiet setting for your Adirondack vacation.
We had a fabulous time at the spot. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Our host was gracious and responded to a couple of small requests during our stay. Highly recommend this spot!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake side cottage. Travelled from Texas so we rented totally over the internet. Owner ordered excellent weather and he came through! Definitely will rent this again......
Stay was very nice as it's a great location between Old Forge & Inlet. Quiet and has everything you need. Tankless Hot water heater (endless), coffee & k-cup machine, dishwasher, laundry.
Only thing I would say is that you're not supposed to use the sandy entrance area in the pics as it's the neighbors.
Places to eat (Red Dog, Slickers, Billy's & Frankie's) were all good.
Wouldn't hesitate staying again.
This small, cozy waterfront cottage was perfect. It was clean, the linens were 5 star. It had a dishwasher. All utensils and tableware were perfect and clean. Lots of hot water for showers. We did not use the washer and dryer. A campfire each night in the small fire pit. Beautiful large front lawn. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets. A memorable Fall weekend in the Adirondacks. I would definitely rent the cottage again!!
Cottage is on the lakeshore with large windows looking out towards the lake providing nice views. Private road is very quiet. Lake is shallow for some distance from the shore. Entry to lake is from ladder at the end of the dock. None of the rooms are large, but the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, but all of the cabinetry is low, making access a bit awkward. That is the trade off for having windows instead of cabinets above the counter.
A good value for the price and the house is well equipped, but a few annoyances. The neighbor feeds the waterfowl nightly so there was tons of duck and goose droppings to navigate on the property. The owner is very accommodating but we did get charged $80 to replace two old hand towels and washed cloths that admittedly my kids stained with their acne medicine. Also, take your garbage, we left one small bag in the trash can which cost us $50. Despite the bad weather the kids had a good time swimming off the dock. In fairness I would recommend this rental but bring your own towels to avoid a costly mistake. We will not go back as we enjoy more spacious accommodations.
The cottage was incredibly clean! What a treat! The linens and towels provided were wonderful. The view from inside or out is unbeatable. We enjoyed our week there very much. The two little negatives would not keep us away in the future.
Stuâs Views was a nice place to stay. Great location if you want to be away from the crowds
The cabin was clean and well prepared. They had most everything we needed. Great views and there were days when we didnât see any other people. The only downside was that the listing showed there was a hair drier and a grill, but there was no hair drier and the grill was buried under furniture in the shed. The gas tank for the grill also seemed to be empty. This did not detract from the experience. The beach area is shallow but no problem for us to park the pontoon we rented at Clarkâs Marina (I also recommend this place to rent boats) There were no instructions of what they expected when we departed, so we followed the instructions for a few other VRBO rentals weâve been to- such as washed the towels and bedding, swept the floor, washed the dishes. I recommend Stuâs Views and we plan to rent here again.
The house was very comfortable and the views of the fall foliage was spectacular. Ed was very responsive to my messages and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend a relaxing week in the Adirondacks.
We have owned our 2nd home (right next door) since 2010, both my wife and I grew up spending weekends at camp on NY lakes and we wanted to offer the same to our boys. While our busy work schedules do not allow us to visit our home in Eagle Bay as much as we would all like, when we do visit it is just as amazing as it was the first time we purchased it in 2010!
