Incredibly natural and peaceful setting, ‘Not To Worry’ promises a relaxing getaway in Upstate New York. Located on a small private bay on Lake Ontario, this charming waterfront home, with a walkout lower level with rec room and bunk house, offers plenty of space for the whole family.

Enjoy spectacular views from one of the three decks, relax in the hot tub, hike at nearby Chimney Bluffs State Park or relax on the sandy beach at Fairhaven Beach State Park. In the evening, take in the amazing sunsets and enjoy sitting around the large firepit overlooking the water.

This fishermen’s paradise is known for its prize winning Bass, Walleye, and Perch. Delight in catching salmon, steelhead and rainbow trout. Bird watchers will love the Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Swans, and hummingbirds.

Port Bay is one hour from Rochester and Syracuse, New York and only minutes from the lovely port town of Sodus Point, New York, with its marinas, restaurants offering waterfront dining, the Lighthouse Museum, and shops.

8 of us friends went for a long weekend to celebrate our 60th birthdays. We could not believe how the owner made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The property is amazing. The home is beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We had the best weekend. I would recommend this rental.

Family Gathering for SUNY OSWEGO Graduation

Great Stay. Roomy Home with all the amenities. Beautiful views and received a chance to see our first River Otter in the water. Neighbors of house were more than friendly. Family and friends were treated to a great venue.

Friendsgiving Weekend

Not to Worry was the perfect setting for the perfect weekend! The accommodations were top notch, the view was beautiful and the memories we made will never be forgotten. The host of Nit to Worry was prompt to respond to any question and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely, spacious A-frame, an absolute gem for family vacation

Home is beautiful, nicely laid out, well-stocked, and comfortable for 6 adults and 5 small-ish kids. The kids loved having the basement to themselves. The adults had plenty of room too. The availability of the 2 kayaks and access to the docks was awesome. Parking is ample and neighborhood is quiet. Communication with host was quick and clear. So glad we found this property.

Lovely & Comfortable

During our stay here, my family and I enjoyed such a beautiful home with a waterview of the lake. The owners we're super nice and quick to answer any questions we had. There was so much space for a big family. Although we stayed there during the winter, we we're still able to enjoy indoor family game time. This was definitely a home to get away from the city life and to reconnect with family. My family and I will definitely try to stay in this home soon again in the summer!

Last minute family getaway

The owners were great in answering our questions? Everything was furnished for us. The kids loved kayaking and it was wonderful having the kids all downstairs to sleep. There was plenty of space for our whole family. Our weekend was very relaxing. I think everyone had a turn or two in the hot tub. The only downside was there was a lot of seaweed, and our propeller was constantly getting plugged up with it, which you have sometimes.

PERFECT Place for a nice relaxing family weekend..

Owners were absolutely great about getting back to us with questions. Place was 110% ready for us, with ALL of the things you wouldn't think they'd supply. Basement is redone with (3) sets of bunk beds. Fishing poles, firepit, kayaks, hot tub, tons of games for kids. Really nice dock! Spacious outside deck for enjoying the sun and eating outside! I know Mother Nature helped with 3 days of no rain, but overall we couldn't have asked for a nicer, more peaceful place to spend out weekend together with all (4) kids and some friends and family. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!! Already looking at calendar for next summer.

Family vacation

We stayed from Saturday to Saturday and had a very nice time. The kids loved the easy access to the water for fishing, SUP, and Kayaking. The adults enjoyed sitting on the spacious, comfy deck off the living room overlooking the water. We also enjoyed the ready-to-use hot tub. It seemed to have one or more of us in it morning, noon, and night. I would warn anyone with knee issues that there are many stairs, but my parents managed well and said they got used to it after a while but it's something to consider. We enjoyed the conveniently large dining room table right off the kitchen and the kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and tools you need to make anything. The beds are comfortable and the A/C worked great. The fire pit made great bonfires and we all enjoyed an easy habit of s'mores after dinner. There are TVs upstairs and down so everyone could find their own nook to watch the show they preferred at the end of the night. The house is located well off the beaten path so it was a bit of a drive to get to Fair Haven and Sodus Bay for shopping and beach time- but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone was happy we came and said they had a great time.

Location and house layout is wonderful.

The host has great communication, the house layout is wonderful and the fire pit is great. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a jet ski, the bay has too many weeds where the house is located for jet skis. And were disappointed that the hot tub that is advertised wasn’t working, that would have been a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a great place for a large group to relax and enjoy a nice vacation on the water.

Property was as listed. No issues with the property. We found the lily pads and seagrass near the shore to detract from the property however the pictures showed this and we were not surprised. Port bay is pretty low key and we found ourselves going to sodus bay a lot for meals and activities. The kayaks were a hit as well as the outside hot tub.

Top notch spot!

Hesitant to write a good review, so that people don't want to stay here, so that it's more likely to be available the next time we want to book! In all seriousness, it was an amazing place to stay, in every sense! Don't hesitate to book it, just pull the trigger, asap! Bring your own coffee, and know that there are a set of stairs to get to the property, from the parking area, and enjoy this absolutely perfect vacation rental!

Pleasant stay with nice hosts

We enjoyed our time in Kim's place so much, the view was fantastic and the sitting areas were fabulous. The only concern was the water, it's extremely dirty and we couldn't even use the bathtub as it turns so dirty and yellow from the water. Also, the porch is not that much safe for kids under 5, we couldn't leave our 2.5 kid to play by herself at all as she'd fall down if we left her alone. Other than that, we were so happy especially with so quick response from Kim to any questions or concerns we had. We'd definitely come back again for relaxing stay, kayak, hot tub and fire pit.
