Welcome to the Door Way Inn, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! Located at the Meadow Ridge Condominium complex in Egg Harbor. This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo that sleeps 10 people, is the place for your next Door County getaway.

On the main level, you will find a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, a large family room with plenty of seating, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Downstairs you will find another family room, bathroom, and bedroom.

-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Home Truths:
This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.

All Meadow Ridge Condo amenities (indoor pool, hot tub, tennis court, basketball hoop, etc) are run by the Meadow Ridge Property Management Company. Simple Life Rentals cannot guarantee that these features will be open and available during your stay. The outdoor pool is being repurposed and will no longer be available.

Got turned around, trying to find the property, but once we found it all is well. Was disappointed that nothing was handicap accessible for my husband, but we made it work. The size of the rooms was perfect since there were seven of us . the kitchen was well stocked.we were close to the activities we were interested in.

Egg Harbor retreat

Property was very nice. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher, dryer full of towels, left over popcorn from previous occupant, stained rug, but otherwise pretty clean. The pools were great for the kids. Location was perfect.

We're very sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience. We strive to provide the best guest experience and would have welcomed the opportunity to make things right if we had been made aware of your cleaning concerns during your stay. Please know that we would have preferred to have the dryer working properly for your stay, but despite our best efforts, we could not get a service person there prior to your arrival due to the backlog of work for every service repair place in the area. This is why we gave you a 3 week notice, as we wanted to be very transparent about the situation as soon as we became aware. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Lovely but…

Previous renters failed to put the garbage out so the bins were over flowing. Ants…both levels on the south wall. There were ant traps out but we had to lift them with the two crawling babies. Some shade by the pool would be wonderful too Lovely place just not perfect 😜

Family Door County Vacation

Two close families with 5 children ages 5-10 stayed here for 6 nights. The space was adequate, clean, and overall worked well for us. The indoor pool was a huge hit for the kids. That said, the place smelled quite musty/mildewy. There was no large trash can in the garage to empty the tiny kitchen trash can, and the owners solution was for us to walk down the hill across the parking lot to empty the trash every time we had to take trash out, which seemed to us a bit ridiculous. They also are NOT kidding about giving enough toiletries/cleaning supplies “to get you started.” We needed to buy trash bags, toilet paper, and dishwashing liquid after our first two days. In sum, while it was adequate for us, I was disappointed in the details and the communication with the owners and will not rent from them again.

Great family trip in Door County

Great location for our weeklong stay in DC. Just south of Egg Harbor. Just a 5 minute drive from the beach, Main Street Market, and Egg Harbor restaurants. This area is right off of Highway 42 and does not have sidewalks, so it is not really walkable to downtown. The unit was very clean. Kitchen is well stocked. Our kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools daily. This was a great size unit for our family of 4 + 2 grandparents. FYI: The neighborhood is under construction currently. This will likely continue for a while as they are adding several more condo buildings to the existing neighborhood. Workers were there all day until 4 or 5pm. The noise did not bother us.

Could have been nice

It was just dirty, we read prior reviews, saw that there was cleanliness issues, we thought maybe the others were just picky. Nope, stains everywhere on the carpet, the light shades, pans were rusted. We sent an email noting the issue, they said they made note of it. For the amount we were charged for a cleaning fee to rent the property, I would have expected it to be clean. Also there had to be an issue with the indoor poor, it was colder than Lake Michigan! The outdoor pool was unavailable during our stay.

We were very pleased with the prompt response we received when we reached out about how to deal with the full garbage can. We were pleased with the accommodations, however, we felt the the condo could have been cleaner, as the carpet had a spot on it and the ceiling fan in the living room needed to be cleaned. The fan and the air return were dirty.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed our time.

We enjoyed our stay in door county. The hosts were great at getting back up in the timely manner. They answered all my questions. The house was clean. I had a hard time finding some of the pans, but that was totally on me. I am used to a gas stove so never thought to look in the drawer. Duh, electric stoves have a drawer. Lucky for me my daughters Boyfriend thought of this. Loved having the indoor pool. We went several times and had the pool to ourselves. Obviously if you are there during the summer that would probably not be the case. We did not use the outdoor pool since it was closed, also did not use the weight room. We went on several hikes in the area instead. We had 12 people staying there (8 adults, 1 teen, a 4-year-old, and 2 one year old). The place was perfect for us. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
