Very nice and homely place

Everything was as advertised with the house and amenities. The location felt fairly secluded and private even while being in a neighborhood. The walk to the beach was a little long, but not terrible at all, even with 2 small children. We would stay here again

A great place to stay!

We loved staying at Pelican Kiss! This was our first time renting in this area of the Gulf. The home was clean and organized. There was plenty of room for us to relax and not feel crowded or on top of one another. You do have to walk to the beach/pool, but it was not a bad walk. We were thankful for the provided beach wagon to help carry our things! We would love to stay here again in the future!

Loved this place! Clean with everything you could need. My only complaint was that you could not turn the thermostat below 72 degrees, and it did get very warm in the house. I have a very hard time sleeping when I am hot, so I didn't sleep well. But other than that, it was great!

Spacious and comfortable home. Short easy walk to boardwalk and the beach. Comfortable bed! Quiet neighborhood. Great choice for vacation with our 2 dogs. Would stay again.

Excellent stay!

The house was cozy & so clean & nice! It was a perfect stay! The neighborhood was quiet & relaxing! The walk to the beautiful beach wasn’t bad at all! We really enjoyed our time & couldn't believe how quickly check out day came! We will definitely stay again!! This has been one of the best vacation experiences!

Can’t wait for next year already!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was cute and homey. Loved all the decor. The spare bedroom says you get a queen bed but it was a double. Other than that Cape San Blas is our all time favorite place to go now!!

Great Stay, But Serious Safety Concern

We recently stayed at this vacation rental and overall enjoyed our time—nice location, clean home, and well-stocked amenities. However, we had a serious issue that I feel other travelers should be aware of. There was a problem with the air conditioning during our stay. While I appreciate that the rental company took action quickly, they sent a service technician to the property without notifying us beforehand. Someone we didn’t know showed up at the door, and for a short-term rental, this is not only unexpected—it’s unsafe. Guests should always be notified before anyone comes onto the property. It’s a basic courtesy, but more importantly, it’s a matter of safety. In today’s world, having a stranger show up unannounced, especially when you’re in an unfamiliar place, can cause a lot of concern and confusion. This situation could have easily been avoided with a quick phone call or message. I hope the management company updates their protocol and makes sure to always inform guests of any scheduled visits in the future. Otherwise, the property was as advertised and our trip was enjoyable—but this incident definitely impacted how secure we felt during the stay.

The surprise beach family vacation for my mom

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Cape San Blas! I decided last minute to surprise my mom with a family vacation, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The beach was stunning, and we spent so much time enjoying the sun and sand.The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family of four. The pool was a great addition, providing a perfect spot to relax in the afternoons. We made wonderful memories together, and my mom was thrilled with the surprise.I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful beach destination. We had a great time during our stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean , beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living room were spacious. The house is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is beautiful! We will be back. Only complaint is the outside landscape and deck need some cleaning up.

Cute house close to beach

An older house but impeccably clean and all the channels you could want when not outdoors doing beach things. Easy walk to beach with a clean and cute community pool. Does not have much of a back deck but a nice screened porch. Kitchen is equipped with the basics. Drawbacks were that the door code was incorrect so it took a few minutes of calling vacasa to get that fixed. The majority of the mounted lights on the outdoor stairs did not work and the refrigerator light was out. The wifi key and password in the house book and vacasa pamphlets inside house were outdated, so go with the ones they send you with your reservation email. Cape San Blas is quiet without many attractions, which is exactly what we were looking for, so plan ahead for groceries and such. St. Joseph State Park is just beautiful and the beaches pristine. A great house for a relaxing beach stay.
